Located about six miles northwest of Atlantic City, Absecon provides all of the entertainment -- from the beaches to the Atlantic City Boardwalk to the casinos -- but with a much quieter environment. Absecon wraps along the marshy wetlands of Absecon Bay, with the Atlantic City Reservoir on its western side. The city features several parks: Heritage Park features a lake, a walking path, and it is the location of the Absecon City Hall.
Absecon's downtown area is located along White Horse Pike, where you'll find a variety of stores, restaurants, and other businesses. Like most New Jersey cities, Absecon provides ample mass transit, with bus and train service available. The Absecon Station, located near the intersection of Ohio Avenue and Station Avenue, offers train service to Atlantic City and Philadelphia.

My apartment needs work that has not been done since I moved in but I understand that they are busy with turnover. It can wait. Also the rent increases every year are now way out of reach for me. the rent is 65 % of our fixed income. I don't want to move because my age is catching up with me. Almost 800$ in 4 years is a bit much..

I think it’s amazing community here & it’s really nice apartments round here. There’s good amenities such as pool, gym, wifi provided, golf, bbq grilling, etc!
Overall a quiet community with decent neighbors, it is a little messy and sometimes loud but that’s apartment living. Dogs are comfortable, amenities are worth it. In my experience maintenance has responded to all requests at a quick pace.

It's ok but hard to get maintenance. My air conditioner broke three times in three months, once during a heat wave and they took a couple days to even come look at it. It is currently broken and after putting in requests multiple times through the app and over the phone it has still not been repaired over the last 9 days.

Everything has been ok so far. Waiting a bit longer than i wanted to for a parking spot though. Also because of the parking issues someone had my car towed even tho i was literally running into my apartment for 10min. In that time my car was gone so not too happy with my neighbors. I lived here for a little over 13 months. And the manager here was kind enough to extend my stay till the end of the month. This is a quiet neighborhood. Not a happening place and so no noise. Our top floor apartments had skylights which we loved, though summers were quite hot, winters were nice because we had sunlight in the house for a long time. The amenities were good. Maintenance staff was quick. The community was clean. They provide reserved parking, so those like me who didn't opt for it had to park a little away on rare occasions, but parking was always available in the community. The area overall seems safe and we used to go out for walks in summer. So sidewalks are available on one side of the apartment. There is an Indian grocery store close by and that was a big plus for us. There are plenty of eateries and all types of stores between 2-5 miles radius. Overall, my wife and I were very happy here.

You do a walkthrough of your apartment when you first move in and fill out paperwork of the items that need to be repaired for them to tell you the repairs aren’t important on top of that an exterminator came and put down mouse traps

We looked for a rent for a long time and settled on this choice and did not regret it, we were met in the office by wonderful friendly employees, everything was arranged very quickly and we became residents of a wonderful spacious apartment. There is a beautiful, cozy area, green lawns, a children's playground and free parking.

This place really is the worst. Loud music, screaming, and smoking at all times - people have no respect for others or the complex. Garbage everywhere. Poop everywhere, even on sidewalks. Lots of requests for maintainence to enter your unit when you aren't home. Police knocking on your door to ask about incidents at other units. Also, the complex is next to the dump so it smells awful outside almost all the time. If its not the dump smelling, its someone smoking weed - can't ever open your windows. Insanely overpriced.

Been here now for the past 6 years. Maintenance is great. Joe gets to the job asap. Working with the office as always been a breeze. Renewal are made easy and you are always notified in advance so you have enough time to make your decision.

Hate it here. The leasing office keeps there door locked so residents can’t go in to talk with management. Management does not handle issues whether they’re maintenance issues, payment issues, neighbor issues. They charge way too much rent money for apartments that are no where near worth the price.

We are a fairly new resident here at the Landings. We have come to the leasing office about screens for our window and patio doors by the living room among other complaints and have not received a visit from the maintenance unit at all. We have spoken with an agent at the leasing office and she has submitted tickets, but no action has been taken for two week or more now since the tickets were submitted. Aside from these issues, the area in our building is peaceful and we have had no issues. My only complaint would be about the cars speeding through the area and what management has planned to take efforts to slow these drivers down. I also appreciate the fact there are dumpsters for each set of buildings. It is a great relief from the last complex we lived in where there was just one big dumpster for all 20 buildings and each building had 12 apartments. So we definitely love living here, but we hope the maintenance issue can be improved upon. We do not like hounding the office.

Everybody minds their business, papa Joe handles maintenance requests within a timely manner but sometimes people leave their trash around the property and empty liquor bottles as well .. always the sound of kids playing and laughing though so definitely good for kids and plenty of amenities also dog park for the fur babies

It is Awesome living here everything is calm and nice. Great association employees and neighbors. The landings really takes care of their properties.
