The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Kensington of Louisville
Do not move here ! The worst apartment complex I’ve ever dealt with. They do not fix anything. It is not worth the rent DO NOT DO IT
Two weeks before my move out date, The Kensington sent out emails stating that they would begin scheduled renovations inside the apartment with me still living in the apartment and also stated they would send out 24 hour notices before. They started the renovations without giving any notice (Chris says “there’s nothing we can do, its gone and past now”). Because of the “renovations” the power in the bathroom, kitchen, and living room was removed (never restored by maintenance) and significantly slowed down the moving process.
I have been her for all most a year and I’m ready to move now. The new manager dont know what there are doing. The parking is horrible. There used to be so many dumpster around the property but now there is only 3 dumpster. And changing the name is funny it will all ways be Ledgewood
AVOID this place at all cost. The recent name change from Ledgewood to Kensington means nothing. The management is still severely lacking in skill, it has went from one bad management team to another, they will do NOTHING to accommodate you (I’ve been told this several times), they seem dumbfounded and burdened if you have questions/concerns. I lived here for two years and have experienced extreme inconveniences and poor services here such as rats, bugs, no trash pickup, maintenance showing up two weeks late or not at all, being snowed in and given rock salt to do it myself, every washer and dryer in the laundry facility being broken, receiving the wrong mail or no mail at all, not being able to park in the lot my unit is in (oh and they fail to mention the 14 uneven speed bumps you have to drive over). They’ve slapped paint over everything and have called it a “renovation” and raised the rent 200+ dollars. TRUST ME when I tell you it’s absolutely not worth it.
I moved from another state and management was very helpful and accommodating with the whole process. I arrived in my moving truck (after a 2 day drive) and all I had to do was sign the lease and pick up the keys. Complex is older but safe and well cared for, definitely worth the rental rate. It is pet and kid friendly. There is a 24 hour laundry facility at the front of the complex that is kept clean and accepts debit / credit for payment as well as quarters if you choose not to have a washer and dryer in your unit. I had a couple of minor repair needs which were fixed in a little over an hour after reporting them and the maintenance staff was very personable. There is a bus stop at the front of the complex that services several schools in the area. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it can be very hard to get in and out of the complex in the morning and afternoon due to high traffic on Manslick Rd but it is convenient to parks, schools, daycares, gas stations, groceries and just about everything else you may need.
these apartments need a serious makeover. they are very out dated and are not well kept. they fine you for the smallest little things and they are quick to file eviction if your late. they do not fix up the place before you move in and do not replace damaged baseboards or door moldings. the LGE is absolutely outrageous during winter and summer like in 2 or 300$ range.
