Both apartments I looked at smelled like cigarette smoke, even though there is a “no smoking” policy. Front desk is rude and unprofessional. Grounds smelled like cat pee. Would never recommend.

This property is in a great location. Office staff is very helpful and friendly and maintenance quickly repairs problems. I’ve live here 5 years and don’t plan on moving any time soon. It would be nice if there was a dog park.

10/01/2020: Be ready to be your own pest control and to hire professional cleaners. We've had to clean up a ton of cobwebs and steam clean due to how the apartment was handed to us. However it would have been fine, we have very high cleanliness levels and to clean would be completely fine if that was the only issue. We've also had a cockroach problem in which my boyfriend and I found the nest and reported it to the front office. Also have a wasp problem that still isn't fixed a week after reporting it. Apparently we're supposed to get pest control to come spray for roaches just as they sprayed for the wasps that didn't get handle and are still there despite after reporting it a week ago. We were told the apartment was clean and has pest control before we moved in but that was obviously a lie. I added pictures on my google review to include the wasp nest on our patio which if they sprayed as often as they claim then it wouldn't have gotten that big as well as a photo of the roach nest we found in our closet. If you're moving here, then you need to VERY CAREFULLY inspect and even lay out a trap or two before signing anything. Check the ceilings, we have multiple cracks in ours which is where the roaches are hiding. The ones we have are German cockroaches. Apparently maintenance will seal up the holes after pest control arrives. I'll update it if things have improved but so far I've been living here a week and I am not happy at all. It's such a shame too because the place is beautiful, the apartments are spacious, nicely laid out and gorgeous. Until the cockroach problem, I was so happy to be here and now I want to be anywhere but here.
I love living here! Friendly people, quite, great duck ponds while out walking. I feel safe plus the Police dept is across the street! I've been here over 2yrs now. Love it!?
The Invitational owes me $150 of my $400 deposit and if they think you can get away with sending me a 4 month late check for $63.40 they are wrong. I will hit up every review site I can find. I'm only getting started. Pay me what you owe me, just like I paid you rent for two years. Otherwise you're just a bunch of crooks, and I will make sure everyone knows. Might even run a little campaign at the local universities to let them know to avoid RAIT properties. But I would love nothing better than to never have to think about you again, so why don't you just pay me what you owe me and we'll go our separate ways. Peachy. I always knew management was sloppy, but it turns out they're full-blown criminals. Avoid RAIT like the plague. Find a small local place with a landlord you can get to know.
All in all for the price it is a good place to live. It's right across from the police station, which helps ensure a safe environment. They allow dogs with no weight restriction (bonus), and all units come with a washer and dryer comes in every unit. Parking is a little tight, but not unbearably so.
I enjoyed The Invitaional when Kathy, Karlise, and Robin were there. They were always eager to help and now you can barely catch anyone at the office. They leave early, cash your checks and tell you you never paid. And they left early everyday for a week and i could not get any of my packages. The new people that they have moving in now are rowdy and I pay too much to have to put up with that. My neighbor was so upset that she broke her lease. I wish things were how they used to be. Now i'm moving because I once thought they were safe and nice and now they have rude management and residents. Thanks but no thanks.
