Corona is also known as the “Circle City”. The town is named for the three-mile circular layout found at Grand Boulevard. This circular hub houses several parks, a farmers market, local eateries, and the Corona Regional Medical Center. Grand Boulevard is one of several commercial hubs in Corona.

Property Ratings at The Hills of Corona
My building is infested with cockroaches, rats, termites, and mold. We came to them months ago (myself and other tenants) about these issues and they failed to act in a timely manner resulting in severe infestation. Staff is in and out of my apartment multiple times a week now. Car break ins are constant, gate is frequently left open, leaving homeless to roam free. Office staff is rude, dismissive, and overall have a complete disregard for people. Area is centralized which is great but i promise it’s not worth it. Do your research and talk to your neighbors before you lock into a lease here. We pay such a high price in rent in California, we should be treated with dignity and respect, you will not get that here.

The money you save on cheap rent you lose from all the times your car gets broken into. There are multiple car break ins a month and when we asked the property manager what they're doing to make it safer they say "its not their responsibility". 2 Kids stood on top of a car and broke the windshield, in broad daylight. Homeless dig through the trash and even use the shower at the pool. And again when you ask the front office what they are doing to fix this, they say "it's not their responsibility". I don't know what is their responsibility at this point. They tell you they have security, its a guy who pulls up at 10pm walks by the pool then leaves for the night. This isn't security. Every month they're changing something in your apartment but dont give you 24 hour notice that they are entering. There are cops responding to something in the complex literally 4x a week. Seriously, just look elsewhere.

They will charge you for cleaning, painting, and carpet cleaning (~$500) upon move out, and there is NOTHING you can do to prevent this charge. They will also report you to collections even when you are trying to work it out. Awful!

Why would I not live here? Hmmm … where do I start… homeless sleep are constantly using the location to either sleep in your patio, dig through the dumpsters, or use the grass like my pet would. Thieves are constantly breaking into the cars and apartments don’t care to even address the issues… the amenities are constantly not work or not even available… the apartments themselves are as described “spray painted rust” … don’t let the rating here fool you. Do your research before signing anything. You’ve been warned. I hope this finds the right person to help them think twice.

Its a convenient place to live clean & quiet for the most part. My only issue is the gate being broken for months. Other then that I have no complaints. Overall I like it. Its low key and close to everything

I scheduled an apportionment for this past Monday for 11 am which was my fiancé’s only day off to view with me. We drove an hour to get there however we were ten minutes late. Once we arrived we were told our apt was never written down and that they take apts very seriously so because we were late they could not give us a tour. My question is , if you take apts so seriously why was my apt never scheduled? Fast forward to today , Wednesday I had another apt scheduled that my fiancé took the day off for. Again, another apt at 11 am. It’s an hour drive for us and we are leaving early to ensure we make the apt. I get a phone call at 9:40 am stating they double booked and are canceling my apt and do not have another time slot to move today. Sounds like you take your apts very seriously. My advice , don’t waste your time. Especially if you’re a young adult they treat you like a joke.
My husband and I scheduled an on-site tour with this property about a week ago. We drove 1 and a half hours to this property only to find out that the tours were canceled for today. The very unprofessional staff member by the name of Leslie told us that she had made calls but somehow I never received this call and neither did THREE other people who showed up as well. I asked for the property manager business card and she replied with “Here, since you want to make a big deal about it!”. Unfortunately this is how we were treated and I hope no one else goes through this because it was a complete waste of time and she has no business being in a customer service position with such poor etiquette.

They literally are never available, don’t expect them to help you with anything. They put all the blame on you even though you could call them over and over and wait to see them in person. They will continue to dismiss you.

The first year of living here was great. The staff and management was amazing. With the new management and staff this last year, all credibility has gone down extremely.

My experience here is horrible!!!! No keys when I got here, lost appointment w/movers because of it, nothing worked when I got here, no hot water, rude staff, too little apartment, and no linen closet!!!!! I can't wait to move!!!!!! I really thought it would be home for a while, but boy was I wrong!!!!

Michael and Mark were so helpful, kind and patient throughout the entire process. Absolutely amazing! No one expected a pandemic, but even amidst everything, they provided excellent customer service. My previous apartments NEVER answered their phones and when they did they always had an attitude. I was extremely grateful that they answered their phones and never once had an attitude like my previous apartments. Only thing is, I wish the apartment itself came with a microwave. I didn't notice till move in day and was kind of disappointed. My location is beautiful and I love my La Mesa layout. 9.8/10 recommend.

My family and I have lived here for six years and have never experienced any of the problems that the negative reviews claim. The maintenance staff is on top of their game, even when they have “busy” periods, someone in the office will follow up with you on any delays. Additionally, the leasing and management staff has always had an “open-door” policy for tenants and will always do whatever they can to ensure tenants are happy, comfortable, and enjoy living at The Hills.

Worst decision ever moving into this place. We've been here about 4 weeks. In the first two days of getting the keys we had ants in both bathrooms, 3 wasp nests on our balcony, and cockroaches in our kitchen and laundry room. It's only gotten worse since then. It has been a nightmare dealing with all the pests and the office. It took 2 weeks for them to get pest control into our place. They actually tried telling us a couple of times that pest control came but luckily my husband put a camera in our place so we knew they hadn't. I pretty much had to stalk the office everyday to get anyone to help us. We still have cockroaches in our kitchen and haven't been able to use it since we moved in. I have found them in our fridge, pantry, and in our food. We were offered absolutely nothing to compensate us for all the food we had to throw away or the fact that we don't have a kitchen. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Take it from me, don't move here.

We genuinely regret the inconvenience that this has caused your family. The onsite staff was able to provide temporary treatments for the insects and remove the wasp nests until our pest control supplier was able to properly bait and treat. We have been working closely with our pest control service to ensure any additional service you may need will be completed in a timely and professional manner. Falling short of meeting your expectations is not to the standards we strive to achieve, and we humbly ask for the opportunity to make this right. It's discouraging to see that you had a negative experience. Unfortunately, our pest control supplier was not able to address your issues within the time frame that would have been acceptable. We genuinely regret the inconvenience that this has caused your family. The onsite staff was able to provide temporary treatments for the insects and remove the wasp nests until our pest control supplier was able to properly bait and treat. We have been working closely with our pest control service to ensure any additional service you may need will be completed in a timely and professional manner. Falling short of meeting your expectations is not to the standards we strive to achieve, and we humbly ask for the opportunity to make this right. My apartment unit is awesome but the insulation between my unit and the upstairs unit is awful. I can hear every single conversation and noise which makes it unbearable to live in peace

This place has it all!!! Literally every amenity you could ask for in a quiet secure setting. Location is OUTSTANDING and management is fantastic. Absolutely no complaints so far. This really does feel like home.

I just moved into the Hills Of Corona Apartments but so far my experience has been great. I love the staff, the layout of the apartment and the ammenites are amazing.
The rate is a little high especially when trying to support a family but overall very satisfied with the hills of corona
From office to maintenane are always proffesional , quick and prompt to needs , friendly like a family member and very caring , never ever rush you in the office and always a smile
This community is local to all my shopping and leisure needs, my neighbors are always very nice feels more like a home than an apt complex.
Overall a wonderful, place to live. They are so supportive and go out of their way for us as residents
Theres a lot of issues since I moved to this apartment Im not feeling comfortable at all , first theres still RATS!!!!!! In the apartment and the washer machine doesnt work when I put it in hot water! The bedroom lights never works and the 2 toilets are not balanced and they come and try to fix but nothing fixed or worked !!!!!!
The Hills of Corona is a lovely place to relocate to! Despite other reviews, the staff was incredibly helpful and sincerely cared about their clients concerns with the best intentions possible! Great neighborhood with great neighbors and a great location!
The Hills of Corona has been my home for almost a year now and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. The apartment is comfortable and the grounds are well kept. My dogs love the dog park. I love that I can walk to pretty much any store I need to go to.
Hey guys, so I recently moved in here, and I love it! Irene, and Monica ( I also thought Keven was great) are waay nice and helpful. There are no wierd fees for gate keys or paying your rent online like other places I have lived. The maintenance staff are so helpful and fast to respond ( with in an hour on both my requests), and I even got help choosing my wall colors! The apartment is well kept, no corners were cut. Thats a huge deal for me because my last anaheim, and huntington beach rentals were poorly wired, or painted over hinges, etc. I got an extra surprise when I moved in, I got an updated unit with plank floors throught! They also have these cool outlets that let you plug your usb directly in to charge your phone, so no more fighting over the plug! The area is quiet, theres so much parking, and my neighbors are great and welcoming. My upstairs neighbor is quiet as a mouse, what a welcome change from my last place, and I love it. -Very Happy Resident, Honor Lynn.

Great place to live. nestled in the hills this is truly a hidden gem! office and maintenance staff are friendly and courteous. landscape and curb appeal is outstanding. we love it here.
