Property Ratings at The Hammocks at Southern Hills
We have lived at The Hammocks at Southern Hills for over 3 years now and are continuing to stay at the place , this place is great they continuously remodel apartments , have manicured grass and trees, great snow cleaning , pet free and great housekeeping by beery and team. The community manager Lisa is great at helping with any issues / questions. The pool is the great amenity to have along with the full fledged gymnasium and community room. We have ditched buying given the comfort and amenities we find here. Great Team and place to live. Manish Nachnani
Moving from a large house to an apartment at The Hammocks 3 year ago was the best decision ever! The rent is definitely steep for the area but well worth it. This community is extremely quiet. That's something you can take for granted if you've never lived in an apartment building where you can hear your neighbor's every breath. In these apartments, on rare occasions will you even remember you have neighbors. They were built RIGHT. The neighbors you do have are friendly when you meet at the mailbox. You can hear a pin drop in the parking lot at night. No music blasting and, happily, no smoking. The apartments are spacious and well-appointed. They are updating them as tenants are moving out, replacing the older fixtures and finishes. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom layout is perfect for roommates who want completely separate spaces. Office Staff is very attentive and kind and addresses issues immediately. The grounds are maintained every week and the maintenance staff wakes up early and works all day to clear snow. Any time something has broken or needed repair, it's been done within a day. There's a pool open from Memorial - Labor Day with a hot tub. Small gym, lounge/clubhouse area and DVD rentals. So glad I found this in my apartment search!
Our apartment search was extensive. We looked in Fairport as well as the surrounding suburbs (Victor, Pittsford, Penfield, etc.). This one was by far the nicest! The staff is very friendly and easy to get along with, it's a very quiet neighborhood, and the facilities are great! No complaints.
I have never seen a rental staff work so hard at not trying to rent out a place. I hope they a paid minimum wage because they did absolutely the minimum
