I had an appointment at 1:30 on 01/02/2022 for a tour of the 2br/2ba model as one was available mid-March. While getting ready to leave for my appointment I received a text from Aubrey stating they just rented the upcoming vacant apartment right out from under me. This is from a company who texted me THREE times the day before and day of the scheduled walkthrough to ensure I would be there. Not a hint of them showing the apartment to another interested prospective tenant. Totally unprofessional and lacking human decency. If they treat prospective tenants this way imagine how they treat you once you are locked into contract. Pause and think about that prior to applying.
This place is very nice. Just realize that you will have to pay for your own utilities on top of your monthly rent. Electric and Gas. although WiFi and the laundry usage is included in the rent.
I’m a LECOM medical student and I’ve been living at the Hammocks for almost a year and it has been the best apartment I’ve lived in so far in my 20’s. Everything is super new, clean, and spacious and the amenities are great. Love the clubhouse, pool, fire pit...so many great perks of living here. Also the staff is super responsive and will do everything they can to assist you and in a timely manner. And I love that they allow pets!

I have lived at the Hammocks for one year now and I am so impressed by everything about this complex! The staff is very accomidating and will answer any questions that are asked in a timely manor. The apartments are beautifully set up and very modern. Onsite pool, movie theater, gym, and community center are perfect for gatherings and just a relaxing afternoon. The Hammocks are located 5 minutes from the local mall, grocery stores, and restaurants. The area is safe and quiet. The Hammocks have truly been an amazing experience for me. I am currently a PA student at Mercyhurst and the atmosphere is perfect for studying. I would highly recommend these apartments as a place to live for both families and young adults.
When I knew I was moving to Erie I wanted an apartment that felt like a home, not just a temporary place. I got that at The Hammocks at Millcreek. The apartments are new, updated and very comfortable. It is surrounded by trees so you feel like you are in your own little neighborhood, not right there in the midst of everything. The Hammocks is mere minutes from shopping, restaurants, bars, and the mall. It is close to the interstate. There are pet-friendly buildings available, which is what we needed. There is a little park across the street we take our dog to play at. The staff here are so friendly. There are several community activities that we do, including a holiday party and a summer pool party. The clubhouse is cozy and available for rent for parties. There is a firepit (my favourite!) that you can just sit at. Some of the apartments (mine included) you can see Lake Erie from your balcony, albeit from a distance. I just love it here and would recommend it for anyone. We have everything from families to students (a lot of medical students house here as the medical school is just down the street). It really is a homey place to be. It was a great choice!
The Hammocks at Millcreek is a beautiful, safe, and pet friendly community. Apartments are spacious and inviting with open floor plans that make moving into an apartment an easy transition. The beautifully landscaped community emulates a Southern Plantation creating a feeling of being on vacation all summer long!
I have lived here for two years and I don't have one complaint. Beautiful apartments, brand new, attentive office staff and maintenance team. Great location!
This is seriously the most amazing place to live. The amenities are amazing and the staff is very helpful. Maintenance requests are taken care of quickly and efficiently. Very accommodating to students. Love The Hammocks!
Been staying here for about a year now, it is quiet and very spacious. The staff is very friendly and available. Most important is that the apartment itself is wonderful. Highly recommend this place!!
Unfamiliar with Erie area prior to moving to the community in September 2017. Quick and easy application process that I was able to do over the phone with the help of Jamie and management. Moved into a great apartment and the staff has been amazing. Very hospitable, welcoming and clean community. Moving to the Hammocks is not a decision you will regret. Have been all over Erie and this is easily the best community by far!
My fiancé and I moved into the Hammocks only back in August of 2017, and in that short time The Hammocks have given us the chance to turn our apartment into a home! The Hammocks are amazing at creating a sense of community and the whole staff warmly welcomes you into that community the minute you meet them. We wouldn't want to live anywhere else! The amenities The Hammocks offer are just the cherry on top of everything else! Definitely check them out!

I love living here. The staff is friendly and they place is very clean and quiet. The apartments are all very spacious and modern. It was so easy to move in here and felt like home quickly. It is very close to everything in town. Love living here. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I moved into the Hammocks at Millcreek the first week of January and have loved it since. When my fiance and I were touring here, the ladies at the leasing office were so friendly and professional. The apartments are nice sized and beautiful. There is a workout area, a heated pool and fire pit for in the summer, and even a movie theatre room. If you encounter a problem, they are very quick and efficient for solving it. You won't regret living here.
The apartments are very nice, with newly-built appliances and a very homie feel. The management is wonderful too and are there for you whenever you need them :)
I am beginning my second year here at The Hammocks. Beautifully maintained grounds, huge apartments, deluxe fixtures, pantry, washer-dryer hookups and wonderful views! The Management Team is top notch -- friendly and professional. The Maintenance Crew keeps everything going, and can fix anything! Waiting for the heated pool to open in May! Carol A.
Hard to find any negatives with this community. The staff is very friendly and always there when you need them - they also throw some pretty sweet parties..wouldn't mind if they planned a couple more this summer!! But overall, it's a great community, AWESOME location, and I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an apartment to check this place out!
I've lived at the Hammocks since its inception 3-4 years ago. While the community continues to grow, the staff remain consistent in their efforts to meet the residents' needs. They are quick to respond and very helpful. The apartment amenities and aesthetics are new, comfortable and contemporary. Every effort is made by the staff to create a nurturing and close community (such as having annual Christmas parties and events in the beautiful clubhouse). The Hammocks are a really nice place to live whether you're single or with a family.
This is a great apartment complex to live at for all walks of life--there is many students, professionals, and retirees that call The Hammocks at Millcreek home. I am currently a LECOM Medical student and have enjoyed living at the Hammocks as it is literally a mile down the road from the school and because it is also the nicest as well as the most up-to-date complex in this area. The facilities and buildings are all almost brand new. The apartments themselves come with very nice layouts and appliances. Residents also have the ability to use the clubhouse 24/7 to work out, study, or watch a movie in the theatre room. As far as anything maintenance related, the Hammocks has two maintenance personnel who are always around--they will hook up your washer/dryer, as well as help you with most anything else you need (this is nice because you are not having to find a handyman to help you do things). Lastly, the girls who work the front desk are awesome; Lynn was very helpful in helping me find the right apartment layout, floor, and building that I wanted. She spent over an hour with me taking me all over the property until I found the one that was right for me. The girls at the desk do a good job of making you feel at home--Jamie, Emily, and Lynn are always asking how your move in went, if you need anything, or calling to make sure that a service call was taken care of properly. They have some great deals as well. I know this year they were running a special for students where you can prepay your months and get a month free (which is a nice savings). They also have many packages and other options that a resident can buy/rent to make the transition of moving very easy. Out of all the places in the area the Hammocks is definitely the best bet for your money and you will overall be happy here.
These apartments are beautiful and definitely worth the money. I would recommend living here to anyone
