This is the first time ever writing a review. I have lived at the Castle for 5 years as of November of this year and it is about time to give a welcome review for the entire team at the Castle. Ivy as well as Lisa in the office have always been kind and very helpful whenever asked a question about the building or my rental agreement. Nice to know that there are friendly people in the office . Also the maintenance people are very quick to respond and are neat and clean whenever they have to do any work in my apartment. They also are friendly when you say hello or wave from afar . All in all a wonderful place to live and an Amazing staff that take care of me . Thank you staff for your hard work and kindness. Terry

I have been a resident of the Grand Castle Apartment for six years. I have witnessed and become familiar with the pleasant and courteous individuals who labor daily to maintain the beauty, cleanliness, and proper functioning of this impressive structure. They are constantly busy with upholding the endless tasks required to secure a well ordered complex such as the Grand Castle. If I am in need of assistance, someone from the 'castle crew' is never long in responding and helping me out. Quinten, Mitch, Daylen, Brandy, Adam, Lisa, Ivy, and Calvin are just a few of the employees who labor faithfully at their duties and responsibilities. I know well the faces of those who vacuum the floors, wipe the elevator walls, and tidy up the corridors. They are always kind and I am grateful for them. The Grand Castle is a special place to live for many reasons, but mostly because it is a desirable place to live. They make it so. An appreciative resident.

Just moved into the apartment and it was very clean. Great space, high ceilings, and everything works in orderly fashion. Thank you Daylen for your hard work getting the apartment clean and ready for me.

I have only been in the apartment for a week but everything has been better than great so far !!! Ivy and Lisa in the office made all of the initial move in things very easy. Both Ivy and Lisa have been extremely honest and transparent. I have lived in the apartment one day and I let them know that there was an issue with my toilet and my bathtub drain. I called in the afternoon to let them know and by this evening when I got home from work my issues were addressed by Mitch the maintenance technician and he did a great job! So far things have been wonderful here and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Thank-you to all of the staff that have made my move in process so worry free and have helped me on my journey to create a home here. You are all wonderful!!!!

Ivy and Lisa and Jack have been very kind and helpful during our move into the Grand Castle Apts. Our apartment is beautiful, clean and they came and fixed the door. The office staff have been kind with our paperwork and any questions that we have had. So far we like it here!

my roommates and I were looking for our first post graduation apartment, aka our first big girl apartment, and I never thought we would find a place like this one! yeah, the castle exterior can be a little gaudy but honestly I think it’s so fun to come home to a CASTLE every day, and the interior design is themed similarly but not over the top at all. the hallways are exceptionally clean compared to other apartments I toured, which is a big plus. the entire property is well lit and I feel very safe in my home. any negative that we have encountered, which have been few, are more than made up for by the size of our apartment, the helpful staff, and the countless amenities that we get here. DOG OWNERS: this is the best place for a dog, in my opinion, when it comes to an apartment. a football field sized dog run, and a dog park, with walking trails nearby. I’m so glad we chose the Castle!

The Grand Castle apartments are great! I have been living here a week now and love it! Ivy and Lisa were very helpful making sure that I had everything I needed to make my move as smooth as possible! Will definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking to move.

Ivy and Lisa are the best! They got me into an apartment in under a week. They were quick with their communication and I’m loving this place! Shout out to Mitch in maintenance for getting my window blind fixed so quickly!

I have lived here a couple years now, and it’s been wonderful. The leasing office is wonderful and super helpful. Specially Ivy, she went above and beyond to help us out. Stop by and check this place out!

I moved into a studio on this property and I have been quite impressed. Ivy and Lisa from the leasing office were incredible in helping me fill out all of the paperwork as a first-time renter. I find that the space that I have is quiet, clean, and has all of the amenities that I could ever wish for. In-unit laundry facilities is a blessing that most do not have. I feel safe in my apartment and never have issues with noise from my neighbors. Living here is exactly what I needed!

I just found another item to add to the list I have of all the things I really like about living at The Grand Castle. A few weeks ago I found water pooling on my kitchen floor. I happened to open my door and there was Mitch! He took a look and then Adam showed up. I think it was all fixed and taken care of within 30 minutes of me finding it. I have to say I have never had anything fixed so fast in my whole life.

I am giving Quinten and Mitchell a 5-star review because I can always count on them to perform outstanding maintenance services when I need assistance with an issue. They are prompt, efficient, caring and effective. It's good to know the maintenance of my apartment and the surrounding areas are in their capable hands. Elissa

Spacious, clean, good price point, lots of amenities included. Big shout out to Mitch from maintenance for always being super nice and fixing any issues as soon as they come up, and thanks to Calvin in the office for being helpful with any questions I may have!

We absolutely love living here, we had a few small issues with door jams and a light bulb and Mitchell came in and fixed ALL of it even though we had only put in a work order for one thing. He helped answer our questions as we are first time apartment renters and was patient through all of it! All of our questions are always answered same day by the amazing staff here via email or phone and we are so thankful to live in a building that keeps us informed and in the loop! We are so thankful for everyone here and thankful to live in a building with such a great community.

I have been here for almost a year. I love it hear!! The Grand Castle Team that works here is pleasant to work with. Just the other day I was having electrical problems. I got maintenance to come up to help me. Mitchell was very pleasant and helped with the problem restoring my light in the bathroom and explain some things to me. I have never lived anywhere that the maintenance was same day and easy to work with. Thank you!! We will be renewing our lease for sure!!

We only intended to be at the Castle for a few months while we bought a home. It turned into 17 months, and as we finally move on we are really thankful for this place. What a unique property with really nice amenities and a responsive staff. It's in an excellent location for getting to the Lake Michigan shoreline, or downtown Grand Rapids. The cleaning staff are always busy keeping the property tidy, and there is always an interesting activity being planned. Not to mention a weekly variety of food trucks/vendors on site for a convenient meal option. Very reasonable utility costs and easy trash service also make living here attractive. It's safe, clean, well appointed, and well managed.

communication with staff here has been great, they are quick to get back with you on the move in process and questions you have. was on a waitlist for 6 months which was expected. I love my apartment. honestly the price is great for the all amenities offered, beautiful appliances, washer/dryer in unit, & wood flooring. no place is perfect but this is super close for me! love the safety/security measures & it is a great location!

I love living in the Castle! The staff is great, the unit is awesome, and my dog loves the dog park! Ivy and Calvin have been beyond helpful. Would definitely recommend renting from here!

My dog never barks and has never shown aggression, a can't get a place there just because he's a Husky. I ve never heard anything like that it's ridiculous.

I rented a two bedroom, two bathroom walkout apartment on the main floor of The Castle for six months between selling my house and buying a condo. My apartment also came with a carport (covered) and two attached very large locked storage areas( 12x12), which were extremely useful in downsizing from a house to an apartment! I love the layout of my apartment and the updated finishes. The community atmosphere was wonderful as were the amenities, with the workout facilities and the lake being my favorites. The lake is beautiful and kayaking on it was wonderful. I have to mention the staff as I was very impressed with them as well. Aaron, the property manager, is very accommodating and prompt in his responses. Ivy is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and Travis from maintenance is one of a kind. Any requests for maintenance were answered quickly!! I would very much recommend The Castle for anyone looking for a long or short term rental, I was actually sad to leave when I recently moved into my condo. I love that it continues to evolve and improve, cool place to live!

This apartment looks awful and you can see it everywhere! It looks ridiculous especially with a lion on the roof :(

I will be moving in one of the Grand Castle studio's in May and I am so excited. I love the fact that the layout of the studio is loft style and has a separate upstairs for the bedroom; I don't like the idea of having my bed in the living room so this was perfect. On my tour of the building I was surprised by all of the lounges and hang out areas; did I mention they have a library (so cool). I did my tour with Ivy, who is so kind, helpful and patient. She is truly wonderful and if the rest of the staff is anything like her, I know this will be a great place to live!

I was told when I signed my lease, “Oh we will find any reason to evict you.” How welcoming! Thanks for the pit drop in my stomach. Not impressed with staffing so far. Other than that, living here has been great!

Stopped in today for information as a walk-in and Melanie was wonderful. She showed us their demo unit and was very helpful in going through my options for rental. Looking forward to working with her in the future to secure a place at The Grand Castle!

Can’t get a phonecall or email back currently, and they have 3 different phone numbers. Tried all 3 and still nothing which is unfortunate because I like this place.
