Property Ratings at The Globe Apartments
I recently visited this complex and applied for a 3 bedroom. Unfortunately there is currently a waiting list. However, I am so excited to be accepted and move as soon as one is available! The manager, Stephanie, was so helpful and friendly! The second I walked in the office for my tour I felt 'at home'. Although this building is old it is SOOOO beautiful! Apartments are spacious and being downtown is a bonus!! Thank you Stephanie for being ahhhhmazzzing!!!
I’ve been a resident since mid 2020 and have zero plans to leave anytime soon! Friendly staff, approachable management, and easy-going neighbors make globe one of the easiest places to live. You’re close to most of the action that downtown Grand Rapids has to offer for a fraction of the cost of what you’ll pay 2 blocks north! The Globe is where it’s at!
I have lived at The Globe for almost a year and my Partner has been here for over 3! We love our apartment, the building, and the team here. Stephanie and her team are prompt, professional, and fair. When there is a problem, they are always great to work with. I wouldn’t choose to live anywhere else downtown!
Love my apartment, when looking the manager was a delight to work with and answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable! She took her time with me and my situation which is hard to find these days! Would recommend to anyone! 5 out of 5

I've been here almost a year and I love this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My neighbors are friendly. I absolutely love the surroundings so peaceful.
The Globe Apartments are my absolute favorite. I enjoy working with the office staff when I have questions, the maintenance crew, and my neighbors. I also value all of the small details that the staff notices. If my neighbors discover I'm gone, they'll hold my packages for me. This is a fantastic place to call home. Thank you for all of your efforts, team.

I've lived at The Globe for five years and have had nothing but great experiences here. The office staff is great, Jen is exceptionally helpful and thoughtful. Seeing her is always the highlight of my grandbaby's day. The maintenance team is also amazing; very punctual and efficient at fixing any issues. The location is also great if you work in Grand Rapids.
I would like to compliment the efforts The Globe Apartments has taken in creating a multi-family residence. Jen, the property manager, directs a high standard of care with operational efficiency. The maintenance team ensures a meticulously clean & fresh environment. Mike and Landon are approachable and hold a high degree of professionalism when it comes to work request. The building is designed has a definite presence!

everything is in walking distance. the staff is friendly and the building is clean sometimes the children throw paper airplanes on the second floor but the cleaner always throws them away
The Globe is a very nice quiet little complex that is conveniently located right off Commerce. It is clean, safe and well maintained. I would certainly recommend this location as a great place to live. The staff is very friendly and maintenance responds very quick to work request.
Staff is friendly and helpful, and the apartments are cozy. I love that they allow dogs over 35 pounds!
I came into The Globe about 2 months ago and Jen from the office made everything super quick, painless and efficient. She was very friendly and provided adequate information about the complex, overall condition, rates and community. I moved in at the end of November and love it so far! Everything is in walking distance from this building as well and that is a HUGE plus for me and my children.
Clean building, friendly staff, great views & everything is in walking distance. I love living here.
By far my favorite place to live. The building is quiet, my neighbors are friendly and extremely helpful, and the staff are very nice and keep us well informed about everything that’s happening within the complex. Maintenance need 5 stars by themselves, they rock at EVERYTHING!

A friend of mine stayed in these apartments, at first i was a bit worried about the location but after i stayed there with her for about a month i loved. The apartments are conveniently placed right smack dab in the middle of just about anywhere you'd need to go downtown. The apartments themselves are super cute, i LOVED the high ceilings and how spacious the rooms are. Definitely on my list for apartments to look into when my lease is up. :D
Great location downtown Grand Rapids. Close enough to the night life to walk and far enough away to stay quiet.
