We’ve only been in the unit for a short time but so far everything is great. We’re happy with the property and all the amenities. We look forward to exploring all that the Emery has to offer.

Living at The Emery has been an absolute dream for my family. From the moment we moved in, we felt welcomed and cared for—not just as residents, but as part of a true community. The environment is peaceful, safe, and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect place to raise our children. A special thank you to Dartise and Audri, who go above and beyond every single day. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for the residents are unmatched. They’ve made our experience here seamless and truly enjoyable. Whether it’s a quick maintenance request or a kind word in the hallway, they are always on point. The Emery isn’t just an apartment—it’s a home. Living here is like living at a resort all the time. I love it here.

I truly appreciate the sense of community and the convenience of having everything so accessible. I’m genuinely excited to be a resident and an active part of this neighborhood. As with any new development, there are opportunities for growth, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the conversations that help shape and improve our shared space. Love this community. It’s nestled in a quiet neighborhood full of lovely shops and restaurants. The Emory uses every chance to grow unity within the walls with get togethers for the renters in their buildings.

The Emery Apartments are lovely. The staff is welcoming and the residents are friendly. The area is very safe and clean. It is conveniently close to shopping centers too!

We've been living here for over two years and my family loves it! We are close to the park, there's a bowling alley and a pool. The gym is a bonus too.

Really nice place and hope to enjoy much more time here! I love the quick access to the bridge to go shopping as well as the many amazing amenities here!

A great place to live. Things seem new inside apartments. Good location. Very nice amenities, with spots to work and hold meetings. New here but this looks like a vibrant community. Look forward to days ahead.

I love it! I Just wish that the leasing office was a little more responsive. Other than that, it’s a nice place to live! Highly recommended.

From my tour to my move in, the staff here have been incredibly friendly and helpful to get me settled in. They were able to accommodate my needs, always answer the phone and be available when I needed help. Highly recommend!

This is a great apartment community with wonderful amenities and community / social events. Package delivery is sometimes unreliable as packages can be delivered at the wrong apartment building.

After approximately six months, we are generally (albeit mildly) satisfied living at The Emery. The staff has been courteous, the property remains convenient as a place to live and commute from, and the neighbors we meet outside seem kind. This is a great place to live if you have a dog. We continue to have severe issues with vaping fumes coming from somewhere nearby - there is no way to determine the exact source. Although vaping and smoking is prohibited, the policy appears unenforceable. Reminders are sent in monthly newsletters, but the continued presence of vaping indoors suggests this is ineffective. My partner is highly sensitive to the fumes, and finds it very difficult to breath at times. At time of writing, we have experienced multiple issues with the main entrance elevator. Though a minor inconvenience for us, it does detract from my overall opinion of the property.

A lot of amenities and places to relax. Always quiet. The only thing is one of the elevators goes out frequently. It takes a little to get fixed.

I’ve lived at the Emery for a few months now. There is much to love: the gym, the Workstead, Emery Lanes, the Emery Shuttle, the Pool Deck, common spaces, and screening room. And there is much that puzzles. A confusing community app, inconsistent wifi in common area, no ability to screen share to monitors in working spaces and lounge spaces, random security issues and excessive trash in common spaces, slow response time to unit requests. I assume what puzzles must just be taken in stride given the location and convenience of the community and the earnestness of the staff. I still recommend the Emery to others looking for a convenient and safe place to live. I just wish there were fewer chronic issues as most should be easy to fix permanently.

The apartment was really nice and clean! A lot of things to do that will make you productive everyday very convenient to stores and mall. A very pet friendly community too

Went on a tour! Dartise Jones and his was great. I Fell in love with the convient location and luxurious amenities. I'm highly motivated to making The Emery my future home.

Been great almost 3 years in quiet area relatively clean can’t complain too much events are nice too. relatively close to everything as well.

Great place, but parking assistance is not sign much. Have been waiting for reassigned spot for days. Sadly not very efficient The building and maintenence people are great keeping it as clean as they can ,wish residents would do their part too. Hoping to have a good year here

10/10 - no complaints! The community is quiet and neighbors are nice. The maintenance team is always quick and responsive and issues are addressed quickly by the office

Yubi is the only one worthy of mentioning. She’s amazing. Everyone else is rude, incompetent, and unprofessional. The apartments are fine but most of management and parking is awful.

One of the best apartment buildings in the Berkeley side of the Bay Area. Clean and well organized. Great maintenance team. Great leasing office.

This is a great community. Quiet, respectful. Still close to entertainment and shopping. Staff are friendly and helpful. Maintenance staff are efficient and courteous. I’ve always had great experiences with all staff. Neighbors are kind. Love the community here.

Moving into this community has been the best thing for me and my family! Everybody has made us feel so welcome and has been so very welcoming. It's been, one of the best decisions and moves I've ever made. I am so happy here in this community, and so proud to be part of it!

Living here is great. The community and surrounding areas are quiet and the office is friendly. There’s monthly resident events, and work order are handled efficiently

Nice buildings and community. Areas are clean and staff is very helpful and friendly. Area is close to malls and grocery stores. Convenient location

1) Key fob did not work for any doors except primary apartment door for 2 days. I was unable to get into any of the outside doors of my building, which made moving day incredibly stressful. I was advised I would have my key fob fixed at different days/times but this never occurred. I ultimately had to go down multiple times to check on the status as I was worried the staff would close for the day before my key was available. 2) I was never given a mailbox key or information about my mailbox number or how to access it. I've not heard back from anyone for 2 weeks. 3) I have multiple missing packages which I'm hoping are in the mailbox but I dont have the ability to validate this since I don't have mailbox information or key. Other residents advised me they've also had missing packages that are delivered to other buildings that we can't access. 4) I'm unable to use communal work areas b/c I've been able to obtain wifi log in info for these areas. I don't recommend The Emery.

The pool is awesome, the views are incredible. We use the dog wash station a lot too, overall there are many great amenities at The Emery!!!

Absolutely loveeee From the office to maintenance to housekeeping the best community very convenient to the freeway, walking distance to bay street, target and a lot of access to bus stops if needed. there’s also a shuttle that is specifically for The Emery residents that goes to bart Just amazing

The Emery has been my home for 2 years. The amenities and the community events hosted by the coordinators are top notch. The luxury of the apartments, the parking garage, and the surrounding easy access to Bay St, dog park, Huchiun Park (so cute and clean), and the location is just perfect. The accessibility to public transportation: Amtrak, Emery Shuttle take you to Bart, Emery Go Round, and AC transit is amazing. Plus, super bike friendly routes! This is quite a great experience.

I've lived in the Emery since Jan. 2024, and its been a great experience so far. It is a new apartment so the units are modern and well-built. There is a great variety of communal spaces, from the standard ones like the gym and the rooftop pool, to the more unique ones like pet rooms and the bowling alley. All of those spaces are organized and maintained by cleaning staff too. Huge shoutout to our community manager, Dartise, who made our move-in experience smooth and seamless. Would 100/100 recommend.

It’s been a very pleasant experience so far. Neighbors are super nice and staff is very helpful. Neighborhood is surprisingly chill and can’t hear the train which is nice.

My partner and I absolutely love the Emery. Aside from the incredible perks of the location near the mall and bike path, the community has been phenomenal. We’ve established so many friendships with the other residents and the staff at the Emery are wonderful. They are kind, caring, and efficient in resolving any concerns, and so friendly even outside of the Emery. We couldn’t be happier to have found this community.

Work orders are always handled timely and professionally, and the office staff is more than helpful and friendly. I appreciate living at The Emery

The apartment itself is good. new appliances and clean because we were first to move in. The neighborhood gets loud though and can be disruptive at night. Additionally the elevator keeps breaking

The Emery is a new and well kept apartment complex conveniently located near several points of interest. The staff is polite, professional, and attentive. There is a diverse community, and if you are a dog lover, you will find many furry friends. As a city-based multi-story complex, there are pros and cons. The Emery offers amenities that will appeal to active and social tenants. However, this is a modern structure designed in ways that may not suit all tastes - aesthetic or practical. A recurring low-frequency hum (not trains - building AC?) makes it difficult to sleep. There is a no smoking or vaping policy in place for the premises, but seems unenforceable in private units. Even the lease agrees that "[making] the designated areas smoke-free depend[s] on voluntary compliance." The fumes from vaping invade our home nightly and will be the reason we may not renew. Overall, however, we've had a generally positive experience. The Emery is worth a tour and a stay if it suits you.

The Emery has been everything we hoped it would be! It is clean, full of amenities, and it is located in a great area. We love being able to walk the neighborhood or crossing the bridge to Bay Street

The apartment community is gorgeous with lots to do and lots to walk to. Commuter heaven. It’s in a busy area but it’s quiet and people are very friendly. If you have a dog there is a park close by where everyone get together and hangs

This is a good place. is this apartment can give more discount to old residents for next year lease, it will be great. I hope it will be more flexible for the renew policy.

Very well designed, built and managed community. Maintenance staff are superb- timely, clean and efficient minor repairs. Housekeeping staff superb. Everything cleaned daily including gym which really impressed my trainer. Management is solid, fair and bring great governance to the Community. This is MY COMMUNITY. So many friends here.

I like this community. Really new community and the layout is good. The clubhouse, gym, study rooms are good structured. People can walk to the Bay Street for shopping, there are IKEA, shake shacks, apple stores, Mumu hotpot. And Trader Joe’s, CFA, target are nearby. Just one thing that the parking slots are limited but there are actually more slots in other buildings just don’t offer to us. It’s a general convenient, friendly, and beautiful place to live.

it's a nice and beautiful place. There is a park downstairs. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the supermarket and movie theater business district. It is really convinient.

Been quiet living here has most amenities. Just wish issues were addressed a bit sooner. On my 2nd year living here and I love having the new park nearby.

So far I am happy with the maintenance I have requested. staffs are very nice and friendly. Area is beautiful and the building is clean and nice.
