Property Ratings at The Emerald
The apartment management is a joke. Two outside doors of the facility have been broken for over a year. The elevator breaks weekly, so if you are unable to take the stairs keep that in mind. Also - when you move out you WILL NOT get your deposit back. You will likely owe money. They told me I would be charged for 1 hour of cleaning and for a patch on the carpet. After I signed the document they added a bunch of charges to it. They are a greedy and unethical company and will do anything they can to nickel and dime you. I would look else where before choosing here. Hope this helps

Regarding your move-out, we understand that you may have been confused by our cleaning/carpet replacement fees. However, your apartment did not meet our cleaning standards. We had to spend a significant amount of time to do extra cleaning. Additionally, the carpet was damaged during your tenancy and after inspected, needed to be replaced. For the amount I pay in rent, I should not have to feel as though I'm living under constant surveillance. I do not have a dog, but they send out constant, letters, emails, and text messages about how people handle their dogs; always ending each letter with "they're watching the cameras" that does NOT make.me.feel comfortable in my own home
