The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Elliott
The rent is a fair price, but it’s only a fair price after you realize you are going to be nickel and dimed for every single amenity. 100+ on your rent a MONTH for an AC unit when this is a brick building that holds heat every well is crazy and cruel to me. Parking isn’t better they have a sketchy parking lot that’s also another 100+ a month to park, and I wouldn’t even trust it with all the people parking there during the weekends to hit the bars. The neighbors aren’t great, some of them have been kind but most have made me feel unwelcome and like I don’t belong. The floors are so squeaky you and hear what’s going on above you and you can’t take two steps without hearing a squeak. I also had a package stolen and I reached out to management for help and received 0 help, but about a week later they sent an email out about someone else’s package that was stolen so it felt like they didn’t even care about me. I do not recommend living here.
Lower your expectation for this apartment. There is no AC, and the heater will constantly run. I had to keep my windows open the entire winter. The elevator is extremely slow, so if you live at a high floor, get ready for a long elevator ride or take the stairs. The management is nice and down to earth people.
Highly recommend The Elliott. My daughter had an apartment for 2 years. Great location. Secure. The manager Elizabeth is excellent. Very prompt with communication responses and addressing any needs/questions. Any maintenance issues also taken care of promptly.
The Elliot is a great location downtown -- walking distance to many amazing restaurants and bars, grocery store, and parking garages. The apartments are very airy and bright -- would recommend to anyone who loves to decorate!
I love the convenience of these apartments! This location is prime with restaurants and bars right around the corner and the Farmer’s Market steps from the front door. The owners recently renovated this historical building and the charm is wonderful! These affordable apartments are everything you need!
Beautiful one of a kind apartments that are completely renovated! This place has all the charm with a historical feel meets modern look! Great area to be in with the farmers market and hyvee down the street!
