My experience living at The Social on Hively has been really positive overall. The community is friendly, and the staff are responsive whenever I need help with maintenance or questions about my lease. Great place very close to campus. Very nice apartments. Only cons is the free parking, most of the people who park at the bottom level of the parking garage have not moved their cars in 2 months. If you have to drive a lot you will probably be parking at the 5th floor often, I recommend getting the designated parking spot. Can be a bit expensive to live here.

it’s okay i thought it would be better. the customer service is lacking and it takes a while for maintenance to fix anything. The units don’t get much sunlight and the walls are very thin.

Its been really good so far. I like the parking situation here a lot better than the last place I was at. Its also quieter which is really nice.

Its been great so far. I’ve enjoyed the gym and the fact that’s it’s down stairs which cuts out a 15 minute walk to the campus gym. All it needs is a new water filter

It’s pretty nice overall but the shower was tilted and one of the kitchen lights went out wither 2 weeks. But other than that pretty good! Balcony is pretty nice too!

My resident experience has been great because I have always heard that getting things small things fixed is a nightmare for some apartment complexes but this is not the case for the social on hovey and their maintenance crew leader Joe is super friendly and gives advice how to not make whatever my roommates and I broke happen again!

the building/apartment sadly didn’t live up to expectations from the tour. online the amenities are said to be steel but ours are not even though we’re in a “renovated” apartment. appliances feel cheap

I have had an amazing experience here at the Social on Hovey! My roommates and I have been getting along great with our fellow neighbors. My only complaint would be that we were unaware of the trash compressor and had been confused as to where to put our trash until the email came out today, two weeks after moving in.

So far I am enjoying the apartment just one complaint, my room was not cleaned after the past resident lived her, there was hair in the sink, shower and toilet along with garbage under the bed and in the drawers.

Staff has been great! Maintenance has been very quick at responding to work orders. Love the unit and the amenities! Staff is great at communicating in a timely manner and everyone in the leasing office is very helpful. The package room is also great and very secure.

My ceiling leaked. It hasn't been fixed yet. Otherwise, things are nice. I like that there is access control on the front of the building. Maintenance seems to be fairly responsive. People do have a tendency to throw trash in front of the trash compactor instead of in it which isn't great.

It has been nice so far and I’m enjoying my stay. I jut wish thy would clean the carpet but other than that my room is very spacious the bathroom is big and I like that we have our own cabinets.

The workers in the leasing office are amazing. They are beyond kind!! The apartments are very nice and spacious, but the halls on the outside of the building are a bit dirty.

Maintenance is okay but not very attentive. There was a lot of confusion with paying rent and the front office was not entirely clear on how to handle it when everyone was charged double. The hallways stay fairly clean and the public spaces are nice.

I'm quite pleased with The Social. The units are clean and the staff and maintenance department are excellent. I would absolutely recommend it to someone looking for an apartment near ISU.

It has been amazing! Every time I have needed assistance the front office has been so kind and extremely helpful! I was nervous being a first year renter but my experience has been better than I could ever have expected!

The Social on Hovey is a great place to live and has so many amenities. The front desk always answers and maintenance is super quick. It’s the perfect location from campus, although the traffic can be loud at times

It's close to the university. The gym has a nice variety of machines and is clean. I like the secure mailroom that keeps my packages safe. The study rooms have been a great help.
nothing fancy but a nice apartment. the maintenance guys are some of the nicest people i’ve met. they manage a lot of apartments, but always make sure to come in with a smile and explain things. if it’s something small they don’t make you feel stupid, they simply explain it ,fix it, and go about their day.

I really like the social; it’s a solid apartment complex. The units are modern and well-maintained, with spacious layouts and plenty of natural light. The community amenities, like the gym, , and lounge areas, are top-notch and always clean. The location is convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Management is responsive and friendly, making it easy to resolve any issues. The neighbors are respectful, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and welcoming. It’s a great place to live, offering both comfort and convenience.

It has been good and everyone has been very helpful. I love having 24 hour gym access because I have a very busy schedule being a graduate student.
