The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Drake and Anderson Court
These apartments are by far the worst I’ve rented thus far. The carpet is not even put on the floor right (it lifts up EVERYWHERE). Additionally, upon moving in the sliding doors and the fridge were broken. You can hear every conversation being had outside. The parking is not safe and their advertisement of “security” is false, there is constantly loud music, homeless in the parking lot, trash outside. The property manager was very unprofessional in handling situations that occur at the apartment and is not considerate of tenants concerns.
The Drake may seem like a great place to stay, but several things keep this place from getting 5 stars. The first is that the walls and ceiling are paper thin. Outside noise is easily heard from the street/sidewalk/parking lot. If you live downstairs, prepare to hear everything that the people above you do. Whether they are simply walking around or talking quietly, you hear everything. The laundry facilities are hardly anything to write home about. Half the time, two of the four washing machines are broken and of the four dryers, only two actually dry your clothes. I tested this by using all four with the exact same settings. When they were finished drying, two of the machines had dry clothes while the other two had warm, but wet, clothes. Noise is dependent on the people around you. Normally, it's fairly quiet, but I'd recommend noise cancelling headphones as a precaution. If you rent here, do NOT go with the roommate program like I initially did. You fill out a survey for "compatability", but I know from personal experience, that they pick the exact opposite person to be your roommate. So be wary if this is the route you choose. Positives: They have their own personal security that patrols the property and should any problems arise, you can call them. The B and J bus stops are fairly close if you're a student. You're in walking distance from several shopping outlets. Maintenance is very friendly and efficient Negatives: Poor noise control from first floor apartments. Laundry facilities need a lot of work. The pool is almost never cleaned. The roommate program is a joke.
The Drake has some affordable townhouses for a college friendly budget wallet with a good location. Its near multiple bus stops with 5 buses running through them all day long so its perfect for those who don't want to bike all the way to campus. Even better, there is a two small plaza with a 24hr Safeway and a Savemart near by. The only downsides are the walls are thin (you can hear your neighbor's phone vibrating sometimes), but the management is nice and friendly.
