I love living here in The District. The Community is nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. I've been here for a little over a year and I love it. The sizing of the rooms are very adequate. We have a wonderful maintenance team of any issues do arise and the office staff is amazing!
It’s an amazing leaving environment, there’s always something good coming for us to enjoy it. The employees have been doing an amazing job constantly. I appreciate being part of this family
I’ve lived here going on 4 years come the end of the end. Throughout my experience, this is a great place to live. The environment is well taken care of, there are numerous amenities that I have enjoyed and the apartment themselves are very nice and modern. Everyone here is very friendly and polite. The reason I’ve taken a star off is due to staffing. Staffing is great however the response time for maintenance/office callback's need a bit of improvement. I believe sending a notice/alert would help with this problem but besides that, everything is great. There has been a few changes since I’ve moved here which I love, especially for the price that I pay. Overall it’s a great experience and I plan to stay here longer.
I've lived at the District for two years and I have noticed a positive change in the environment here. The staff have always been nice and helpful but the upkeep and engagement changes are definitely noticed! I love the monthly newsletter, community activities like breakfast to go and paint n sip, the food trucks, the fitness room stocked with cleaning supplies, more attention to the breezeways...great work!
I've been living in The District for 2 years and over the past two years I have noticed a wonderful improvement. I was bit hesitant about moving at first because of bad reviews but that anywhere you go. I absolutely love the new staff, they are very helpful they have been a breathe of fresh air with bringing the community together. I love the food truck coming to support local business, I look forward to the monthly calendar to see what's going in the community for the month. If you're wonder about moving to The District DO it!!

Maintenance is sooo helpful and quick with fixing any and everything needed. The pool has some strange hours and sometimes you have to wait to find an employee to come let you in. The apartments are spacious and a great location.

My wife and I have lived in The District for about three years, over the past couple of months we have noticed a change for the better between the staff, facilities and the community. The office staff is always greeting us with a smile and excited to help however they can. Ashley, is so friendly and will go out of her way to ensure all work orders are complete and if there is anything else we need. The maintenance staff are very friendly and professional, working diligently to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner. We would like to thank Bob, when our AC went out he was there working within 10 minutes. One perk is the food trucks, it is always nice to be able to try new food and support our local small businesses. We are always looking forward to the events and giveaways, ESPECIALLY Breakfast on the go!! Thank you for everything you do and bringing our community together.

I have lived here for a little over a year and since it has been taken over by new property managers it seems to run so much smoother. They seem to want to know their clients and do more for them with activities and giveaways. Maintenance is good about getting service orders done on a timely manner. Everything seems to be getting a lot better. The new manager is so much better than the old one. Kaylee wouldn't even talk to residents or give us the time of day. Ashely sat down and talked to me about my concerns, her plan and I've already seen changes. The maintenance team is actually coming into our apartments and fixing things. I’ve lived at The District at Phenix City for a few months now, and it’s been a great experience so far! The staff is super friendly and always quick to respond to maintenance requests. The community is well-kept, and I love how spacious the homes are. The amenities are a huge plus—especially the pool and gym—and I’ve enjoyed the resident events they host. I've been living at this community for a few years now, and I have to say—things are finally turning around for the better. The new management team recently took over, and you can tell they’re serious about making positive changes. What really stands out is how well they work together. I’ve lived in a handful of apartments in a few cities and this by far was the best apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. None of the other places compared to this place. Not by a long shot. At this price you can expect to be in the hood but I hadn’t had any issues when I lived in.

There are better options out there. Service members buy or rent a home, go on post this place isnt worth it I promise. Maybe someday they will get their act together but currently they are trending downwards and making little effort to resolve it. Residents come second here.

Decent apartment. Would be worth the price if maintenance issues were corrected. Communication from management to residents is great. When there is a change with the complex, you will know about it.

I have been living at The District for 2 years and I have had nothing but a good experience. Lauren the property manager is a very caring person. She make sure residents are having a happy and great experience. The property is clean, well maintenance, and have plenty of amenities. I am a long term student at Troy University so it makes it very convenient to get to and from school. Also, I feel safe which is one one my main concerns.

My daughter and I were living here while my husband was stationed in Hawaii with the military. After re-signing our lease we decided I should move closer home to be with my family as his orders were extended. We followed all the protocols for terminating our lease early, however, the move out date that we signed for and the one they entered into their computer were not the same so they sent their maintenance few in a month early to "gut" my fully furnished apartment. I lost everything of value to me. The crew said they were instructed to throw the stuff away however they have a 6 month hold policy for abandoned items & we have since seen pictures of our items online that they are selling. I have since received a settlement however, it cannot replace our sentimental items and can't change the fact that their "simple mistake" caused our family so much trouble and loss.
The Grand Reserve Apartments are pretty comfortable and I feel safe living in a gated apartment complex. It has a state of the art gym and two pools for our convenience and the grounds are always kept beautiful and looking nice. What I really like is that it is luxury living without the expensive price. The cable, water, and internet is included in the rent and it is very affordable. They always plan great activities for the families that live here and we have courtesy officers on site for our safety. The only thing that I don't like is living under someone else. I prefer getting a top floor apartment because the people who live above me have kids and when they run through the apartment it is very loud! But that is the only complaint I have.
I've been living here since September of 2014. The previous complex I was living in was in a bad neighborhood and with a little one I was willing to pay for a gated community. They have recently changed the gym equipment and added speed bumps so people couldn't tail gate behind you. I live by a river so I have issues with bugs and they have no problem coming to fix something and are usually there to fix it within the next day. For the price you pay, its the best you're going to get thats close to post and with the amount of sqft, no complex can beat the price you're paying. They have a curfew so kids cant roam the streets alone and after a certain time, they must be in the house unless accompanied by an adult. The reason I give it 4 out of 5 is because of the parking issue. Ive had to park in front of other buildings because at times ive had no parking. Ive spoken with the complex and they've been thinking of a way to have assigned parking.
I have lived in apartments for the majority of my adult life. I must say that The Grand Reserve in Phenix City is the BEST complex I have chosen for my family and myself. Although people may think that it is on the expensive side (in which I did at first), but when I considered the extra bills I accumulated with Internet and cable services in the last complex, the amounts were virtually equal. BUT the other apartment complex DID NOT have all of the amenities that The Grand Reserve has. Plus, it is in a gated community, and not to mention the extra activities it holds for the entire family to have some fun and relaxation, even the four-legged family members. THE STAFF! They are amazing! When there is something that needs to be done, they are right on it. I really enjoy The Grand Reserve and the peace of mind I have.
Very spacious, doesn't even feel like apartment living! The newly upgraded gym and laundry rooms are awesome! Plus the free tanning beds are a great plus!!!
I have lived in a house for many years, but after my divorce, I found that living in an apartment was just as comfortable. I was afraid that an apartment wouldn't provide the space I needed for the furnishings that were accumulated living in a house for so many years. My apartment was able to accommodate all of our needs along with adequate closet space and storage. The Grand Reserve property managers, make sure that grounds are kept nice and clean. I don't have any regrets with the decisions I made to move into an apartment. Home sweet home!!
