Everytime something is in need of service or repair they always have somebody out there in a reasonable amount of time and they get the job done right the first time. I dont remember one guy's name who fixed our AC, but shout out to Tom who replaced the kitchen faucet. You cant beat the cost of living and service quality at this place! 100%

The apartments were very appealing with each room having its own arrangement. Charles Gegick was a great help. He answered all my questions and showed off the perks of the depot apartments. Charles, also, helped me better understand the rent and included fees.

The Depot brings value for money. It's reasonably priced, the management is super helpful, maintenance is quick and friendly and it's got great amenities. Yes it has its shortcomings, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

I recently just moved into The Depot in August of 2020 and the staff have been nothing but amazing. If your looking for a place to live in the downtown Akron area The Depot is the place to be. This apartment complex is affordable, in close proximity to The University of Akron and has amenities such as several study lounges, a computer lab, gym,pool, etc.

This brand new apartment building, luxury atmosphere and free amenities are amazing. If you don't mind sharing a kitchen and living room with 3 roommates then this might not be for you. The saltwater pool and game rooms are always something to do with guests. It's right downtown by the university of akron and the location is perfect. It also comes with furnature!

Very good apartment for students. It is close to campus and downtown Akron. I walk to both regularly or take the university shuttle if the weather is bad. The people in the office are friendly. They have recently gone under new management, which I'm not so sure about. They've been talking big talk about how great the place is going to be with them in charge, but all they've done so far is add more fees to the rent portal. Pros: -Good location -Heated bus stop -Private bathroom in each bedroom -Large closets -Fully furnished, including a television in the living room -Student focused -Free cable, internet and in room laundry -Really nice courtyard, with a pool and two grills for tenant use. Cons: -Right on the train tracks - Trains do come through at night. You can hear them, but it's not super loud. I personally like the train noises and think they're relaxing, but light sleepers will probably think differently, haha. -Very bare bones closet organization, only one wire shelf. -Weird kitchen - It's pretty obvious they didn't design the kitchen with students/unrelated tenants in mind. Figuring out how to give each person their own storage area is very difficult. Also, the island isn't made for four people to sit comfortably. -Expensive parking - Last time I checked it was $60 a month, which makes me glad I don't have a car. I would recommend getting an overnight commuter parking pass from the university instead, if possible. It's less than that for an entire semester, and there's a parking lot just up the street. -The sidewalks on Exchange Street are very poorly maintained in the winter, this isn't The Depot's fault, but it's something to keep in mind when deciding how early you need to get up to catch the bus, since walking isn't even *remotely* safe when the bridge is icy. All and all, I'm pretty happy living here. Most of the issues can be worked around, and I'm saving a ton of money compared to living on campus.
