The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Den
Currently resident speaking, and I need to say how much i do not enjoy living here. I thought i was gonna love it here from the comments and the tour, but man the problems started piling on for move-in day! Dirty room with clothes from the previous tenant left in my room, the air filter was filled with so much dirt and dust it was restricting the air conditioning in the apartment, and the water heater is so small we have to alternate washing clothes or dishes and taking showers (not to mention the Den set the original water heater temp just barely luke warm), just to name a few. TL;DR: On the surface it looks perfect, but there are to many cons to justify living at the Den. Currently working on breaking my lease and finding a new place.
I love the apartments and the community! The office and maintenance staff are great! Amazing resident events too!
Property Manager at The Den, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! We always lover hearing from our residents and strive to provide the best student living experience possible!
The Den has the best staff and maintenance crew in Columbia. They care about residents, and you can tell they aren't money hungry like the rest. They take resident's concerns seriously and try in all ways to make the place the best it can be. For example, the rooms were pretty dim along with the kitchen and living room lighting. Residents noticed this and told staff, and they replaced ALL units with super bright LED lighting. Although there were costs involved, its really a big deal that they take our concerns seriously. Plus, the pool, gym, and clubhouse is awesome.
I absolutely love living at The Den. The apartments are so nice, the perfect size, and not too expensive. The amenities are fantastic, and the bus goes straight to campus and runs for the majority of the day. Signing here again; couldn't be happier!
