The office staff is so nice and the maintenance guys are really quick to fix a problem.
I hope I can give zero stars. The sound proof of this complex is very horrible, especially if you live downstairs. As a student I am often waken up by noises generated by my roommates at the middle of the night, which both interferes with my study experience and my daily life. In addition, I am very certain that this house is built with lower than average sound proofing because footsteps would come with a loud cracking noise. Moreover, you can literally hear people talking in the street next to the house.

They charge a lot of fess for no reason, and they don’t explain the term in a clear way. The service people break into rooms without knocking the door
I'm a former resident in the Cottages on Lindberg and just received the refund for deposit. Guess what? I got $321.85 out of $780 :( I can assure that my room is clean and neat because I rarely lived in my room. We even asked professional clean staff to clean our house just to make sure we'll get what we should get for refund (I heard the ridiculously low refund my friend had). Not recommended if you want to get a friendly place to live.
I lived at the cottages for a little over a year with my fiance. We decided to buy a house which is the only reason we decided to move-out. The layout of the two bedroom is super spacious. The kitchen was absolutely my favorite part because of the space and I love to cook. I wish there would have been covered parking or garages. The winters are pretty bad in this city and I would have preferred to not clean my car off every morning.
Such a friendly neighborhood with bright and colorful houses. The Cottages are a great place to live for anyone looking for a place to stay while studying and working for their degree. Their pool and clubhouse are beautiful and have a lot of fun things to do. Their shuttle makes it easy to go to and from campus with ease. They are far enough away from campus that is quite and close enough that it is easy to go on campus.
Do not give them your personal contact info unless you plan to rent there or they will continue to harrass you with voicemails!!
My fiance and I lived at the cottages for almost 2 years, only reason we moved was to buy our first home together. At first we thought we needed to be students to live here but you don't have to be. We enjoyed staying here and using all of the nice amenities. The pool & hot tub as well as the fitness center were our favorites. The only complaint I would have is that is was a little bit of a drive to get to the mall. I would have preferred something closer to Lafayette to save gas money to and from work but this community was ideal for what we needed at the time. I would recommend checking out the cottages!
The Cottages is a pretty awesome place to live. I have lived here since they were build in 2012 and could not be more satisfied with the office staff, my apartment, and the amenities that are offered. This community exceeds my expectations for a housing community. The maintenance staff is beyond exceptional and works hard to get requests completed in the most efficient manner possible. The office staff always looks forward to helping resident have the best experience possible. I lived in the dorms my first 2 years and this community is a perfect transition for a student looking for affordable quality housing that is still close knit and hosts resident events to get you involved. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the resident events are cool, the staff is friendly and works hard to keep the property in tip top shape. If I were not graduating I would continue leasing here as it was the best housing choice I have ever made. The Cottages is not only a nice place to live, it is a great place to call home. I know that if you decided to live at The Cottages you would not be disappointed with your choice.
This place is beautiful! Nieghborhood feel not your typical apartment. Lots of things to do in the clubhouse and outside. Nice, friendly staff.
