This is hands-down the BEST pool experience in Tuscaloosa! Cozy, comfortable, and tucked away in a peaceful, private setting. Perfect for relaxing or entertaining without the noise and crowds.

Have loved living here the past two years! Started very cheap and the amenities are very worth it. They are very kind and offer many fun events.

Poor management. Property do not take call because the telephone system is down all the time. Unit #239 has moled cabinet week before they fixed. Dryer for 5 tenants do not work. Missing drawers in kitchen. Dirty all over before moving in. Novia Davis, leasing manager not caring about the request of mishandling the bill for the rent

I’ve lived at The Cottages for about 6 months now and I absolutely love it! But even more than me, my dog loves living here! We love all of the resident events that are held revolving around pets and walking around the lake trail. The green spaces are absolutely perfect for us and registering my dog through the office was super easy! If you’re looking for an amazing place to live with your furry friend, look no further than The Cottages at Lake Tamaha!

I am writing this review as a record of my satisfaction and pride from my choice of choosing to live at the Cottages Lake Tamaha. I have nothing but good things to say about the cottages, their homes, their team, and their service. The cottages is a excellent property, with wonderful atmosphere. The service is great, the amenities are great, the communication to tenants is great, and I never feel like I am kept in the dark. 5 stars, 10/10

The cottages is a great place to live! Love the free roaming as well as having your own house with the lake in the backyard. Awesome!

The Cottages has the sweetest staff. They make a genuine effort to get to know residents (and residents' pets!). They host events throughout the year, and these events are great opportunities to make new friends if you've just moved to Tuscaloosa. They definitely take care of residents in every way they can. I also highly recommend the Cottages for pet owners- they have walking trails by the lake and huge green spaces, so my dog has plenty of room to play. I highly recommend living here!!

Extremely difficult to get ahold of any office staff. Once you're in the lease you're screwed and they don't help. DO NOT LEASE FROM THEM!

definitely the best !! the staff is very kind ! the AMENITIES are amazing,, that pool!! The staff tries to help the best they can! If you have pets, it’s great for pets! we have a dog and she loves going on runs around the big area. It’s very safe and I would recommend it to anyone !

The cottages at lake is the perfect place to live if you love nature and don’t want to feel like you’re stuck in a congested city! It’s nice because you were off campus and away from all the noise but still close enough to get there quickly. I have a dog and it is super convenient to be able to walk him on the miles of trails throughout the property as well as by the beautiful lake! There are tons of amenities included which is so nice, especially a huge resort style pool. Staff has always been super nice and I have never had any problems with maintenance. I would recommend The Cottages to anyone!

We have had some problems with the maintenance. There are also some dumb fees they don’t tell you about. Other than that, it’s been a good experience. It feels very homey.

Layout of the units are great, lots of amenities, close to campus, but maintenance takes forever and added fees really add up here.

I love living by the lake and having it there to use kayaks at any time. I also like to play basketball and hang out at the pool. They gave our popcicles the other day and water bottles. They’re awesome

I have lived here for 3 years now and just resigned for my 4th because no where else compared to here! Great prices and constant specials that take additional money off. Personally, we haven’t had to many maintenance issues but small thing were always fixed in a timely manner. The amenities and lake are a dream, I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!

Its a low price for the high quality of living. Along with the cottage that has plenty of room it comes with countless amenities. I am a personal fan of the 24 hour workout facilities and study rooms!

Beautiful atmosphere, great amenities, their maintenance could use a bit more work, but overall everything is great, my only complaint was when I moved in, our house was a mess.

Really enjoy living at the cottages instead of a standard apartment. Private houses are more preferred to me then having paper thin walls between you and your neighbor. Especially when the cost is comparable to other apartments in the area, the cottages is a no brainer.

I recently moved into the cottages and love the environment! The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the lake is gorgeous. I’m excited to be here for 3 more years!

What a great experience I have had at the cottages so far! When we showed up at move in day there was a line to wait in but the office staff was so efficient that we were getting our keys in no time! They have responded to any Matinence work orders the next day and the overall up keep of the property is impressive considering the size of this place!

I have only good things to say about the cottages! My roommates and I absolutely love it here! We are close to the pool and the lake so its a quick walk to our favorite amenity spaces! Also the front office always has the cutest merch to give away and also they always has awesome giveaways with different prizes to give back to their residents!

The cottages is one of the most unique apartment complexes I've ever seen. They have stand alone cottages that provide more privacy than most normal apartment complex's I've visited or stayed at! I also love the community vibes that this property has, I've made good friends out of my neighbors and with others around me! This is partially because the leasing staff always has great resident events to get everyone involved! My favorite is always the crazy pool parties they have for back to school and spring break!! I definitely recommend the cottages to any one in search of housing!

I have enjoyed the past year of my son living at the cottages. Beside the fact that he is happy, we haven't had any issues at all. Since move in it's been easy going and, despite everything that has occurred in the past months, we still really love it. We are planning for our daughter to join him when she moves to UA.

I've lived at the cottages for the last 3 years now and it was great! When I first signed a lease, I didn't have any roommates to sign with me but they said they have a roommate matching system that they use to fill up the other rooms. I ended up getting three random roommates and they were cool as could. The whole community is just a friendly place and I'm glad I was able to finish up my schooling while living here.

My roommate and I have lived at the cottages for the last 2 years and just renewed our lease for our last year of school. I've had no problems in the 2 years I've been here and honestly I couldn't have asked for a better place to live. We live by the lake so that was also a plus whenever we wanted to go kayaking or fishing, the lake was right there. I love the cottages and definitely would highly recommend.

This will be my first year living outside of the dorms and all I can say is I'm so glad I found the cottages! I've been so nervous about being on my own but they have made everything easy and have really taken the time to help me understand exactly how things work. The staff will literally sit on the phone with you forever or stay in the lobby with you for however long it takes just to make sure that you know what you need to and have asked everything you wanted to and I just wanted to say thank you! I was also given the contact info for my new roommates and we all get along really well! Can't wait for the fall!

I'm really gonna miss being able to come up to the clubhouse for friendsgiving and being able to hop on the cottages shuttle for game day. Spent some of the best years in my life here at the cottages before landing my job back home in Tennessee and I am so glad this has been my home. Thanks for introducing me to some of the best roommates (and friends) around! You guys are great!

I honestly love living here. My cat Miranda is so important to me and it's been really difficult to find a place in town that is pet friendly/doesn't charge pet rent. The fact that they are extremely pet friendly is what sold me, even the office staff loves animals the girl in the front office and I talked about our cats for like an hour lol..The staff is friendly, no pet rent, property is beautiful and the rooms are huge. I lived in a Fairview and transferred into a Bloomfield with my friends and we've never had a problem. Miranda loves it too!

me and my roommates just renewed for our second year here and this place is the best ive seen by far. ive moved every year since coming to ttown but i feel like i got it right this time. the greenspace has been perfect for me because my dog always loves to play outside and its really convenient to have a back yard for more time to play with her :)

Never really had an issue. The wifi went out for a little while but it was storming so that's kind of to be expected. It's typically really fast and when I called Pavlov they explained that the issue wasn't just at the cottages and were so nice about the situation so i wasnt really mad. I dont understand how people dont get that it happens and they cant control the weather lol. I've never had an issue before then and haven't since. I really love my closet! I live in a brookshire and the upstairs room is insane. Literally my dream come true, finally enough room for my shoes!!

My son has lived at the cottages for the last 4 years ever since it was "the retreat". I can honestly say that he and I will miss this place so much. The staff has always been so kind and friendly over the years and quick to fix any issues we have had. Keli has always remembered me and makes sure to say hello whenever I am in town and walk to the clubhouse for coffee. They have always made me feel comfortable about where my child is living and as a parent that is all I could ever ask for. He graduated from bama this May and will move out in July. We sure will miss it!!

This will be my daughters third year living with the cottages and we love it! She always talks about how fun their events are and I have always had a great experience when i come visit. Our favorite thing to do while I am in town is rent the Kayaks and spend the day on the lake! It is within walking distance and we do this every time I come (if the weather allows us) LOL

This is my second year at the cottages and I wish I found it sooner because being by the water feels just like it does back home and I love that I can see the lake from my room! The pool is all anyone ever talks about but there is a lot more to do here than just that lol the staff is really cool and i like that im in an actual neighborhood and not just some building with other people
