It has it's pros and cons but more pros than cons. It's in a nice area with options of places to shop and eat at. Layout isn't too crazy and things (for the most part) are kept clean. My biggest complaint is how flooded my front door area gets when it rains. Literally comes up just underneath the door frame.

Okayish place, but we’ve been facing issues. This place is supposed to come with WiFi set up already, but our apartment wasn’t. And it feels like it’s our responsibility to get it resolved which is wild, Cortesian couldn’t care less. It’s impossible to get a hold of anyone at the leasing office, we’re always having to go and speak to them in person cuz they never pick up the phone. Not happy with the maintenance too.

I have a strong suspicion that every apartment in this complex has an issue with leaks. I have been in two now and both have been equally damaged on move in. Do not rent here. You will be treated like you are the problem when it is their negligence that creates these issues.

It feels like something is always breaking in my apartment, and I have had multiple at this complex because of it. My first apartment had roofing damage that caused a leak in both bedrooms, this was not fixed in the almost year of living there. The roof was supposedly redone right before moving in so no idea why it took them almost a year and loads of maintenance requests to finally move me to a new apartment; but they couldn’t just fix it in the first place?? On top of that there was ZERO flexibility when it came time to transfer apartments. We were given 72 hours to move from one apartment to the other with less than two week notice. How is the new apartment? Falling apart as well! These “renovations” that they do are so low budget it just makes the apartments worse. Water stains on ceilings, dog pee all over the patio, cabinet doors falling off, screws and bugs painted into the pantry shelves, and so much more. I asked if these issues could be amended and it was a flat out no.

Overall, this apartment complex offers solid value for the price—especially given its prime location in Old Town Scottsdale. Apartment is in a great location. Apartment itself is ok. Exterior renovations to the property have been nice especially with the new sun shades for the windows. Have had a lot of maintenance issues and shower seems to be painted over so it’s literally falling apart. There are bubbles in the ceiling. A/C doesn’t not run well throughout the whole apartment unless it’s set super low.

Everything is wonderful so far. Just the next door neighbor is loud but I give him grace since he is just a kid. The laundry unit could use more units. But over all the maintenance guys are so cool and nice and quick! They fixed my two issues so fast I was shocked and they are very kind as well. The leasing agents I speak to always respond quickly and always answer my questions. I love that the community is not too large it feels cozy! Over all I have recommended this complex to a handful of friends and co workers.

I have enjoyed living at The Cortesian! The building is clean and always being worked on, people are friendly, and I love the pools! I do however get frustrated w the Amazon pickup locker, because USPS, UPS, and FedEx are able to put packages in there w no pickup code. This delays me getting my packages by at least a week, sometimes even longer. If they gave us a pickup code, I would love the Amazon locker!

Supportive. Grey star. Listen s. And. Makes. Upgrade. Immediately make sure all landscaping and pool furniture is new and bright gas grills all working and sanitized. The community events are super healthy for the community here keeps us all connected and looking out for one another. Everyone showing demeanor and unity
