Property Ratings at The Connelly
Those pictures are not what the apartments at Connolly look like. Also, there is no fitness center or laundry facility. Each apartment has a washer and a dryer, which is good, but my washer has been non-working since 10/04/2024. It is now 10/25/2024, and still no working washer. Most things in the apartment work okay, and since I am handicapped and cannot get around easily, it's good that they do. I have put in multiple requests for repairs to my washing machine, but at this point I think I may just have to buy one online and have it professionally installed. At least I'll be able to do laundry.
when moving in everything was great, everyone was friendly. UNTIL I started to see roaches and having to deal with my dog getting fleas. simply put these apartments are not worth what they are charging and when you complain or point out the lack of, management loves to point fingers at the tenants. I'm so ready to move its ridiculous, with only 2 months left on my lease I want to just let the roaches have the apartment because clearly they are enjoying it way more than I am
My family and I have been in The Connelly since June 2023 and we love our apartment ! The staff is very helpful and kind, it amazes me how comfortable our stay has become! Thank you The Connelly
This is a roach motel and it’s very shocking at the amount of roaches, I haven’t seen anything this extreme since the 90s
Currently I have no washer and dryer which is supposed to come with the apartment. My dryer broke down 8/19/21 and still has not been replaced. To make matters worse they took my working washer for no reason except that I complained. This is the 2nd time I have been without laundry facilities now totaling 6 months with no compensation. Over the summer the AC was not working properly causing my electric bill to be over $300 a month for 3 months. The trash is constantly overflowing causing rodents and there are shootings several times a month. Do not rent here or any Franklin Johnston Group Properties.

This is my daughter’s first apartment. I went to do a walk through with her and I couldn’t believe they would rent some like this. The water is paid through the rental office but the bill is divided among the tenants in the building. She has a infant, what kind of water will he be using other than what his mother uses for him. I took pictures and video as proof today 7/2/2020. They said they they would see what they could do. The tub has a hole in it. I asked what were her options and they said nothing because the least was signed. I advised her to pay the rent to the courts until they fix everything. As far as the water, they told her she would still have to pay the bill even if she doesn’t move in...she gave them the keys back so she doesn’t even have access to use the water.
Unless you want to live with Roaches DO NOT COME HERE. First night here and my sister and I have killed 10 roaches... not exaggerating. That’s just the ones that have been killed.... I don’t know why there aren’t any reviews that mention roaches but they are HERE. LOOK ELSEWHERE.
Been in this apartment for 2 years. Management is unfriendly and very unprofessional. Still waiting for repairs that were listed during my move in. Mold in HVAC system. Neighbor is very rough . Also there was a homicide here in April 2016. Apartment did not notify anyone for their own personal safety. The exterior is well maintained with the exception of the exterior lighting and the interior is poorly maintained and takes them 1 weeks to repair major problems. Hvac was broken for 4 weeks before they decided to attempt to fix the issue. My vehicle was broken into 2 times also.
