Property Ratings at The Cliffs
This is the worst and most costly place I have lived. Roaches, everything in the apartment is REALLY old, they will up your rent every year. Considering the amount of sketchy people who live here I would think they do not even do background checks. I'm miserable here but will be out shortly. There is not one good thing I have to say about this place
The only good thing about this property is the nature it sets in. The appartments are old with outdated appliances, paper thin carpet, poor water perssure in the showers, and sticky painted plywood board cabinets. They don't spray quarterly like they say the will, the maintenance men and property manager don't like you if you ask for things to be fixed, there isn't enough parking near apartments, and people speed up and down the roads, run stop signs, and rarely ield to pedestrians in crosswalks. There is no attempt made at snow and ice removal and there is excessive trash on property. There is not an apartment on property worth what people are paying for it.
Terrible manager, she is living in the clubhouse! And doesn’t let the residents to use the clubhouse! They are too aggressive, NEVER come around this place.
I lived at the Cliffs for 3 years. I highly do NOT recommend this place for prospective renters. The appliances in our apartment were much older than what we were shown in the model apartment. The refrigerator and dryer had to be replaced while we were there. The oven only had one rack - they said they would get us a second one but never did. Maintenance does the very minimum to get the job done. The ceiling above our bathtub had a huge bubble forming in it and all they did was scrape it off and leave the scrapings in our tub. Didn't repaint it or anything. They will also come into your apartment whenever they feel like it. They came in and checked out our dryer complaint even though we hadn't placed one. They also entered the apartment one time while I was in the shower. Totally unacceptable. I had several pieces of jewelry go missing after maintenance had been in the apartment, but nothing could be proven that it was them, so now I'm out of luck. I reported to the office several times that the lights in the parking lot were out and it was becoming a safety hazard, but they never fixed them. They let the shrubs grow over the sidewalks to the point that it makes it hard to walk on the sidewalk. The apartments are extremely drafty and you will have a hard time keeping it cool in the summer or warm in the winter. When we moved out, we left the apartment in better condition then when we moved in and were charged extra for having to use double paint, to replace the vinyl flooring (even though it looked exactly like when we moved in), and to replace the drip pans on the stove, which also looked better than when we moved in. Expect to get NONE of your security deposit back. They'll tell you when you move in that as long as the apartment has only normal wear and tear (nail holes, etc) that you'll get your deposit back. Not true. They will automatically charge you for cleaning the carpets, repainting, and replacing drip pans. This company is extremely shady and they only care about getting as much money as possible out of you. Shame on the Cliffs I and Lindsey Management for the horrible way you're treating your customers.
