The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Cleo Dunwoody
My last weeks living here were extremely stressful. A contractor caused a flood in my unit, and the property did not properly dry or remediate the water damage. Mold grew on my walls, carpet, and HVAC/water heater closet. My friend broke out in hives from exposure while helping me move. The contractor refused to provide insurance information and tried to push me into an off-the-books settlement. Management offered little support or transparency. The conditions became unsafe, and I had to move with belongings that may be contaminated. Strongly advise future residents to be cautious.
The apartment complex is quiet and near grocery stores and the interstate. There is a police that lives on property which is a plus. Near to great shopping stores.
When I first arrived a leasing lady was very nice and gave me all the information needed regarding the move in process. I scheduled a tour with another lady Samantha and she was very kind and was willing to answer all of my questions. Honestly she went above and beyond to make sure my apartment was readily available at a very timely manner and to my liking! I had the chance to meet the manager Valencia as well and she was so nice. The entire staff was cordial and professional I was quite impressed because previously I experienced some challenges with an unprofessional staff at the old apartment complex I resided in. Oh and not to mention the maintenance team are always on point when I make the request and they get the job done. This has been a great experience for me. The staff here has made my stay really feel like home. Thankful
The Dunwoody gables is a nice place to live, even it is so hard to approve for here, but I like it. It is calm good residence good gym and pool also nice customer service.
I’ve been here almost two years and I must say it’s been an amazing experience. Staff and residents are fantastic people. It’s such a peaceful atmosphere, the units are very clean and updated. The property is well cared for. The amenities are well kept as well. I couldn’t have applied at a better property.
I enjoy the convenience of living in Dunwoody Gables. Close to so many areas, Buckhead. Alpharetta, Roswell, Chamblee, etc. The grounds are kept clean, for the most part my neighbors have been great.
No issues yet and been here over a year! Definitely recommend checking it out, great location and pool is nice in the summer time. Great place to live!
The leasing office and maintenance was very welcoming upon my arrival. They truly cared about my opinion and needs and the amenities and facilities are always clean.
The ease of access and the way everything was done online is amazing. From application, to approval, to move in, everything was online and quick.
This apartment complex was my first choice because of location and the upkeep of the property, however management was so bad at communicating I decided to request a refund on my application. I waited over 5 days and called every single day without ever hearing back from the leasing consultants. When I expressed my frustration they responded with a single sentence in an email not even addressing the issue at hand, apologizing, or expressing accountability. I would not want to live someplace where the leasing office never answers the phone and generally doesn't care about you. Their attitude is what caused me to lose trust in the process. If you decide to apply, please be warned that you will be waiting to hear back from the leasing office. The prompts on their leasing portal states the application will be reviewed within 1-5 business days and that is simply not true.
The neighborhood is in a very convenient area being close to a lot of great shopping options. Neighbors are quiet, the place is pet friendly, and clean. The staff has been very responsive and helpful for the minor issues I've had.
There is a gnat issue in my apartment, after purchasing a "gnat zapper" they don't appear as much as when I first moved in. There also needs to be some renovations on the interior of the apartment such as a new tub, and balcony/front door upgrades to ensure it is sealed (gnats may be getting in through these doors). However, the apartment overall is decent. The staff make sure to communicate with the tenants in the event that something happens.
I love living at the Dunwoody Gables! The grounds are always clean, the environment feels safe and my work orders get done quickly. If I ever needed any help with anything, the ladies in the office always were a pleasure to give help.
I love my apartment and the community! The area is nice and close to everything. It’s quiet and I haven’t had any problems. Just renewed my lease again.
It’s a safe community and staff are quick to respond to any issues or concerns you have. They also have decent amenities. And for the price it’s decent compared to other areas.
I love living at Gables Dunwoody! The grounds are always clean and my work orders get done immediately. If I ever need help with anything, the ladies in the office (Sam, Prisca, & Valencia!) are always responsive and helpful as well. Thank you Dunwoody Gables for making this living experience a great one. I truly am happy every time I walk into my apartment.
Just moved in yesterday and everyone at the leasing office is so nice and helpful. I love my apartment so far and I’m excited to make new memories here at gables!
Management is pretty on top of it. I moved in back in 2020 height of Covid and the management / back office was a mess. I’m more comfortable now and feel that the new team has it together. I reverted my lease in 2023
Living here has been a great experience.. it’s safe no noise clean and the residents are friendly. The office staff has been great and if there is a problem with any thing it’s is addressed immediately.
I love the property and the staff is great always willing to help if you need anything. The property is very convenient to wherever you have to go the malls, restaurants, downtown it’s just a nice place all together.
The staff are great. Probably the best staff they’ve had in years. It makes living in the community much better when you can tell the staff cares.
I've been a resident at Gables for five years and I appreciate the consistency of the management team. They keep the residents informed when community issues are at hand, from emergencies to maintenance of each unit.
From the moment I toured up until moving, the process was seamless. The leasing team is friendly and they are always on top of communicating with residents.
Convenient location. The maintenance team is effective and efficient. The leasing office staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. You can actually contact and speak with management unlike the past.
Doggie Heaven at Dunwoody Gables APTS… from a carpeted large dog park to a Pet Spa and walking trails throughout the complex, and a 12 minute walk to the Brook Run park right in the area.
The maintenance team here is the best, and I’m very thankful to live in such a beautiful community. The amenities are great. The pool is well kept and the gym is nice too.
Nothing but impressed with staff and property. It felt like home and the staff helped you from start to finish. Extremely satisfied and impressed compared to my previous apartments.
I love this community, everyone is so nice, there is always so much to do & amazing gifts/rewards/giveaways .. so happy I went with the Gables Dunwoody!
I’ve lived in Dunwoody Gables for a long time. Honestly, these last few months have been better than before. The new manager Valencia has really changed the community. The breezeways are maintained and cleaned regularly. The grounds are well maintained and maintenance is awesome. I’ve made reviews in the past but I can honestly say it has changed for the better. The people in the office are friendly and welcoming. We have a new pet spa and the dog park was revamped and since then it has been clean unlike before. Overall, this is a great place to stay. 10/10 highly recommend. I just renewed my lease again and I’m glad I did.
I have been here since 2020. I love the location, the location of my apartment and the neighborhood. If the rates don't increase too much, I plan to resign my lease.
Quiet and clean place. Would stay but need more room. Gym is small but sufficient. Office staff is friendly. Maintenance staff fast and efficient.
Overall great experience moving in, very spacious and nice rooms. So far so good from looking over the place. Seems like a good area to be in and super friendly people
It’s totally wonderful. We have been here since 5 years. We like the maintenance and availability of the staff always ready to help! We will recommend to live here
The community is close to major shopping and very well kept community. Staff is always on point, friendly neighbors. Has a car wash onsite, . Good options for people who are interested in food as there are a lot of options
Have been wonderful and peaceful neighbourhood. Amazing staff and responsible maintenance team. Community has excellent publix transport connectivity? Highly recommend.
I have been living here for about 6 months and have really enjoyed it. My apartment is nice and quiet. I work from home and it helps to be in a nice environment. I always see employees and others doing routine maintenance and blowing out the hallways, etc. Every neighbor(s) I run into are always polite and friendly. I also like the fact that I can park in a concrete parking deck. Keeps a lot of sap and pollen off my truck. I would recommend taking a tour at Dunwoody Gables.
I am really enjoy living in Dunwoody Gables. All the staffs are nice and helpful. It is clean and the neighbors are so kind and quiet. The location is perfect, and it is near o Dunwoody and all shopping centers
Nice place to live. Overall, place is clean and well secured. Gym is bit small but okay place to work out. Some people in the complex have loud exhaust vehicle so it is quite loud occationally.
Resident experience has much improved over the past two years. Maintenance request are fulfilled timely, no reported shootings on property, noise disturbances have dissipated and grounds and amenities have better upkeep.
I have been a resident at Dunwoody Gables since 2012. I have seen the best and the worst, however I will say it’s up to management and the leasing office to make the community a better. The new management has been doing an excellent job to improve the community since the prior management during the pandemic. It has been convenient to live in this area because it’s close to shopping, restaurants, highways, etc. I would suggest that the property add cameras to the two parking decks for security. I have always felt safe in this area, but everyone knows no where is guaranteed safe. But overall Dunwoody and the Dunwoody Gables is a good community.
Dunwoody Gables continues to surpass in service & excellence in every area . Not only was the Car Wash driveway repaired of any pot holes, the Pup Park was completely renovated w high end poly turf, the gym received a brand new addition of a boxing post, the mailbox area was further secured w a privacy fence and for spring the grounds area was refilled w fresh ground cover. After living in several different apt complexes from Atlanta to Sandy Springs over the last 10 years, I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to live at Dunwoody Gables; I look forward to renewing my lease for another year, my third! Sol Maria Tuya & Pup Al PaChino
So far, this is the best community I have ever lived in ?? The office staff are beyond generous and work orders get filled very quickly. It’s also very clean.
Don’t ever move here. They have rats in building 1
It’s a great community to live in. The management is cooperative and maintenance response is very good as well. Community is neat and clean with a park nearby.
Quiet, clean, and prompt maintenance requests.Gate is always operational and makes you feel safe.I’ve been living here for 3 years now and it’s been a great experience. No complaints at all!
Decent community to get your start in Atlanta. However, apartments and overall grounds could be up-kept better. Pet grooming station has been “under construction” for a year and apartment paint jobs/appliance installation is careless. This community looks upscale until you move-in and see the terrible maintenance job done to the apartments. If you prefer the finer things, look elsewhere.
Dunwoody Gable is a really nice complex that you can choose. It is close to everything you need like emory health cares, restaurants, internment places and main cities. And it is close to the 285 highway which is a good thing.
I am very happy with my new home. The office and maintenance staff have been very accommodating and kind. I look forward to making my home here, and enjoying the wonderful amenities.
It’s a wonderful community with no disturbance, neighbors are very nice and loving very convenient to park and also the valet trash is on time and never messy.
Amenities are not well care, the parking spaces are always dirt as well as the hallways and leaders. The apartments is the best of Dunwoody Gables, balcony, fireplace, and is really quite. The administration is practically inexistente and a lot of residents smokes on their apartments ñ, the smoke get into your apartment and the administration don’t do anything.
