Lived in Clayton on 2nd for 2.5 years in 2 different units (moved from 1bd to 2bd). Both units were excellent. The units are spacious and designed well. Most have huge balconies which is ideal in AZ. The whole complex is quiet and respectful with well maintained amenities. Location cannot be beat, steps away from Giants Spring Training, civic center park, with all of Old Town within walking distance. Management is exceptional, very easy to get in touch with and quick to help with anything that comes up. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for an apartment in Scottsdale.
I’ve lived at the Clayton on 2nd for a few months now and love it! The floor plans are super spacious, and the natural light pouring in throughout the day makes the whole space feel warm and inviting. It’s in a prime location—walkable to all the best spots in Old Town, which is a huge plus. There are so many thoughtful design touches that make a big difference for me like light dimmers in all the rooms which I love. Management has been nothing but responsive and friendly, and maintenance is always quick and reliable. Overall, I’ve had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to live in Old Town!
Moving to Scottsdale from out of state I feel so lucky to have found the perfect landing pad. The location is 20 minutes from just about anything I want to do if it's not walkable. The property is well kept, quiet and secure. There's underground parking and I feel every safeguard has been thought of here. I love my enormous balcony. I've had very few issues but the couple of things I've needed help with the management team has been there to fix them at the latest by the next day. I love that I can walk to grab coffee, pastries, a great sandwich, pretty much anything I need, yet it's still out of the hustle of old town. The park has a beautiful garden to wander through and my dog has made friends there too.
You really can’t beat the location of this apartment complex. It’s so close to the green belt and old town, but the area is still calm and quiet. There is an event center across the street, but any event is over by 10 pm. We have had no noise issues. The unit itself is spacious and updated, and the balcony is massive. Maintenance is great and the common areas are clean and well maintained. This is by far our favorite apartment complex we have ever been in.
The Clayton on 2nd is a perfect blend of prime location for walkability in Scottsdale, great management from ownership themselves not a property management firm, and a sheik mid century modern design. The units are a bit more spacious than others in the area, the trade off is there aren't a bunch of fancy amenities. There is a pool, jacuzzi, sun deck, grill, fire place, corn hole toss and a meeting room with WIFI and printing, that you can use as an office with no fees. Covered and assigned parking is convenient and safe, packages come right up to your door. The civic center park is beautiful and a straight shot from Clayton on 2nd to Old Town. I only lived here a year but would've staying longer if life didn't pull me elsewhere.
The management was beyond supportive during my stay for the past two years. Always responsive and maintenance was always fast to respond. It was a small community and in amazing area in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. The rent was reasonable and the amenities are brand new since the building was just built. Tim and Max were extremely helpful.
Clayton on 2nd is nestled in a quiet neighborhood walking distance from Old Town. Being so close to the bar and restaurant scene you’d think it would be loud at night, but it’s the opposite. No noise from the streets, it’s a very peaceful spot with a beautiful design. Tim and Max are also great to work with and very communicative.
Moved into Clayton on 2nd over 6 months ago and absolutely love it. I’ve lived in serval luxury complexes in Old Town and this is the best one by far. Our unit is absolutely beautiful with a massive balcony. The property is always clean and I feel safe. The parking garage is extremely secure so I never have to worry about my car like I did in other complexes. The pool area is beautiful. The only thing that is a possible negative is the event space across the street. Every once in awhile there is a loud event that you can hear late at night. Other than that there are quite little no other negatives. The management team handles any issues immediately and truly wants you to have a good experience living here. I would highly recommend living here.
This building is great! I love living here, the common spaces are always clean and well maintained. It’s a great location, no more than a 15 minute walk to restaurants, bars, farmers market, and shops. Unlike most properties in Old Town, there is actually plenty of parking for guests at all hours of the day. Highly recommend to anyone looking.
One thing I really love about Clayton on 2nd is its location. It's close to all the shopping, dining, and entertainment options you could want, but still feels like a quiet and peaceful retreat from the busy city. And the views of the city from my apartment are just stunning. The property management team is fantastic. Tim, who helped me with my move, was incredibly welcoming and made the transition so much smoother. Whenever I've needed any assistance, the property management team has been quick to respond and always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable. I also have to mention that the apartments themselves are the most spacious ones I've seen in the Scottsdale area. The layout is just perfect for relaxing and entertaining. All in all, I have to say that I'm really happy with my decision to live at Clayton on 2nd. The property management team is fantastic, the location is unbeatable, and the apartments themselves are spacious and well-designed.
