In a tiny home in College Park, Jack Kerouac wrote one of his classic novels, The Dharma Bums. The year was 1957, and his most famous work, On the Road, was about to be published. I have been living at The Cannery for 3 years and have always found it and enjoyable and safe place to live. The office staff is always available to answer questions, take care of any problems, all while giving excellent everyday service. The monthly resident events are always enjoyable and a great chance to meet your neighbors. The maintenance staff is quick to fix any problems and Johanna, our cleaning expert keeps this building sparkling clean. It has been a pleasure to live here.

Pretty much everything is amazing, the only thing that I have had issues with is my breakers in my apartment. And a few other maintenance issues. But the maintenance crew is amazing!

Love my community, just wish people would pick up their dog poop. It’s frustrating when you’re walking your dog and you step in poop. There are bags all around. Just be a good neighbor and clean up.

The Cannery at The Packing District has modern features within the apartments (stainless kitchens, nice countertops) and throughout the building because it is only a few years old. It is a nicely maintained property. Staff are quick to address and issues and are always trying to make the community cleaner and safer. Our favorite features of the property are the pool and the gym. The neighborhood is a blend of residential and industrial. Mark Cruz was the agent who handled our tour and application. He is a great ambassador to the community and it is obvious that he wants residents to enjoy their experience living there. I would endorse my friends / colleague who are in search of housing to consider The Cannery at the Packing District.
I love the community get togethers they have, the staff is amazing. If there’s an issue there on it. There’s a store on site and I love all the amenities

I previously moved to the cannery in 2022. But I needed to downsize from a two bedroom to a one bedroom. I absolutely love the staff and the amenities. The staff treat like a person and not just some tenant they have to deal with. Zach, Mark, Laquita, and Chris are the best of the best. The maintenance crew are friendly as well and very attentive to detail. I’ve never have had to wait over 12 hours for small maintenance requests. I even once had my thermostat stop working in the middle of the night and it got fixed almost immediately. Super dog friendly, easy parking. Electric is super cheap with all of the energy efficient appliances. Basically unlike other luxury apartments in the area that wow you with the front office, and community areas. The cannery stays luxurious.

The Cannery staff made the holidays very joyous...... a beautiful decorated tree was put up in the lobby with very pretty garlands hanging from the beams....there was a cookie decorating event organized by Zack which was very enjoyable for all age groups......Zack has gone above and beyond organizing events to bring the entire Cannery resident experience to be quite memorable with a little taste of "home".....I am looking forward to 2025 and what new experiences at The Cannery will happen.

Initially we loved this place, and decided to switch to a 2/2 instead of 1/1. We were promised an apartment that then got sold when we were told it was held. We got cornered into getting a unit that is insanely noisy, for an upcharge. I've only lived in one place as loud as this and it was below college boys that had parties every weekend. Our only compensation has been "lunch". We probably would have stayed here for a while if we hadn't had such a bad experience.
This apartment is very nice and comfy! Everything is very calm around here and i feel at peace. I definitely like living here and would recommend living here.

Overall, the apartment is great! The noise level is a bit loud for me but other than that I’ve had nothing but a great experience! The staff here at the Cannery is so kind and attentive to any ask. They genuinely care how we are doing and how we are liking living here. One of my favorite features is the little market and the gym downstairs. I also really enjoy looking at who the next let of the month will be!

It’s been an okay experience. Kinda wish I didn’t have to keep hounding the staff to get things done. Not thrilled that I had to reinform the leasing office that I have renters insurance even after providing them proof, still kept charging me renters insurance fee. Was never informed about a waiver until I mentioned it. Very little initiative to help tenants

The cannery has so many things to offer not only in the apartment but as a community! There are so many things about the cannery that are extremely convenient like the Publix, foxtail and hot worx all next door!

I love the location of our apartment. You can walk to parks, and food hall and publix. It is quiet and clean. We love hanging at the pool. The maintenance people are responsive. We love that there is a gym that is well kept as well.

It has become increasingly apparent that there are ongoing issues with litter, dog waste, and overall cleanliness in our shared spaces. These problems not only detract from the enjoyment of our living environment but also reflect poorly on the management of our complex. I have expressed frustration over what seems to be a lack of accountability for those who neglect their responsibilities in maintaining a respectful community. It's disheartening to witness the disregard for our shared spaces, and it feels as though there are no consequences for those who contribute to this decline.
