I’ve had a great experience living in this apartment. The unit was spotless when I moved in and everything was clean and well maintained. I recently had an issue with my fridge, and I was really impressed that maintenance came out and fixed it the same night I reported it. Communication with management has been smooth and responsive, which makes a big difference. Overall, it’s been a comfortable and hassle-free place to live.

i absolutely love this complex, the area is great and the units are a perfect size. the office staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly and very frequently have free goodies which is always a bonus

I'm so happy so say that staying at the Californian was the best decision I've made. The staff is all super friendly and made sure to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The maintenance staff as well was super attentive. Any time I had a problem they were very quick to come fix it. Even during the weekends, they came to help! Also love all bills paid aspect. Makes paying super easy and stress free. Thank you so much for my stay here! HIGHLY recommend

I have been living here in their apt. and so far it has been a great experience. It's close proximity to the SFA campus, super fast maintenance, and clear communications set it apart from any other.

The staff is friendly and kind. They respond to your concerns and maintenance request immediately. You were treated as one of their family. The maintenance guys are great and respectful and courteous. I would recommend the Californian to anyone that is moving to the Nacogdoches area. It’s a quiet community, and everyone has been very friendly.

It’s exhausting calling apartments for no one to answer the phone. Well, I have great news for you lol I called this apartment complex like 25 times in one week and they answered or called back every time. They answered every question to the best of their abilities easing any worry I had. I have been living here for 2 months and it has been good. They have things like breakfast Thursdays, gave away plants, and more to their residents. If you have a complaint, questions, or just need to talk to them about something they are very available. I appreciate the two ladies in the front office they have made my experience great so far!

As a first time apartment owner and a college student I would say that the Californian and in general the three skies company is phenomenal. I love how customer base they are and they actually want to know you and give you the best service they can. The maintenance team is very friendly and they do a great job every time. They really do have 24 hour service and they keep the property looking great. At first I thought that the one bedroom flat was overpriced for the square footage but due to location and amenities I would say it is decently fairly priced. It would be better to share an apartment in my opinion but I love this apartment complex and would recommend it to anybody.

I lived here for 2 years while attending SFA, and I like how close it was to campus. Maintenance was always very efficient and there soon after I would put a request in. I never experienced any major issues with the apartment or appliances, with the exception of my AC not working for a brief period, but the maintenance guys were able to fix it quickly. The ladies at the front office were always super friendly and kept my roommates and me in the loop of any news at the apartment. Not having to find parking on campus was a huge plus, and its super close to the SFA REC center and pecan park. I lived in one of the bungalows and highly recommend staying there!

I'd been living here for just 6 months now and have loved it here! Management is super friendly and maintenance is always on top of things! There have been a couple issues regarding the washer and the AC (basic appliance issues), but maintenance took care of everything the same day and/or next day and provided appropriate accommodations. I definitely recommend staying here!

Well, what can I say? I didn't even get to get in my apartment, why? because they "overbooked" my apartment that I signed a lease and put down a deposit for back in mid-MARCH! I was hounded after I put down the deposit every day for 2 weeks to sign the lease, so I did. Fast forward 4 months later they tell me in July I won't have a place to live in, and my move-in date was August. My classes start in August and I have nowhere to live and all other apartments in the area are completely full already. And although this was their screw up they refuse to accommodate me in any way and basically, I am on my own. I told them to move out someone else who obviously did not renew their lease in a timely manner, and I was told she was not going to move out someone who had been there for years, but it is okay for me to be homeless, okay. Oh, and good luck getting your deposit back. They take deposits and will not give them back even if you don't get to move in there. STAY FAR AWAY!

I've lived her a little under a year and the staff is amazing. They always get things fixed the day I ask about it. They leave friendly rent reminders and wait for students to get their financial aid in. The staff is great and they help make my stay here even better.

The management treats the residents like actually people. I have lived in places where I was just a number on a piece of paper but not here. They know every resident by name and are caring towards everyone. There is a nice salt water pool on site and all bills are included. I love living here and recommend it to everyone.

The Californian of Nacogdoches is great because it is not a student only property but still offers all bills paid!!

I've been studying here since April of 2014 & I regret having to move at the end of this month! It's all bills paid, including Internet and TV, and they're a pretty nice size! The only thing I didn't like was not having a washer and dryer in my specific unit, but they have a nice laundry facilitiy on site. The management staff are amazing and very understanding when it comes to certain situations! I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for something reasonable and nice!!!

I moved 22 hours to make it to this apartment, and I found it online and got this apartment with only phone and email conversations! There was no face to face availability with the distance, but that didn't pose any problems. They helped me find a roommate (thid was more help than I thought I needed). The place is beautiful and close to campus, which is more than I thought I needed!
