The Bridges on Kinsey

I have lived here since 2020 and it's been wonderful! The office staff and maintenance are always so friendly and helpful. My A/C went out last summer and maintenance came in the middle of the night and fixed it. The grounds always look neat and well maintained. You can tell they take pride in their property. 10/10 highly recommend!

First off, I am not one to go out of my way to leave a bad review. I understand that things happen that are out of others’ control, but seeing some effort to fix issues that are brought up would certainly put my mind at ease 1.) The landscaping is terrible. Downed trees and limbs that are left on the ground for weeks, grass clippings left on sidewalks and in corridors, etc. 2.) The trash piles up frequently within the receptacle enclosures, often over the edge of the dumpsters and is left lying about for days until it’s collected. 3.) When a complex advertises security and locked gates, I expect them to work. In 10 months of living here, the gates have been fully operational MAYBE 1/4 of that. They are either left open, won’t open, or are partially shut. 4.) The biggest issue of all is that I have experienced three plumbing-related issues while living here. A busted seal under the kitchen sink, a leak that came through my ceiling in the bathroom, and most recently a kitchen faucet that blew off, flooded my kitchen and ruined some personal belongings. All of this on top of a mediocre-at-best paint job, missing trim and horribly outdated appointments. 4.) It is IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with anyone above on-site management. I have left voicemails and sent emails and I've never received the first response. All in all, please steer clear. I must say that Shelby in the front office is more than helpful and very respectful, but this is out of her hands.

We have lived at the Bridges for over 6 years. The office staff is always helpful and courteous. The maintenance staff is great! Any needed repairs are completed the same day. We lived at a different Tyler complex of the same size for 5 years. In every way Bridges is far superior.

From what I am told, this used to be nice until present management group took over. Now it is advertised as luxury but is barely better than an economy apartment with luxury pricing. Pool and amenities are usually not working properly or down entirely. The security gate is broken the day after it's repaired, and has been like this for the 2 years that we've been here. We're only still here as our next move will be our forever home and don't wish to go through the process of moving again. Oh, and office staff usually ignores you. The only positive is the maintenance staff as they at least seem to care and take pride in their work.

Ever since the complex sold and switched management this community has gone down hill. Their phones are constantly “temporarily offline” when they are on they don’t anwser. Parking is terrible, in most areas they have more paid cover parking than general. Gates have been out of commission for over a year and there’s more. On a positive note they do have a great maintenance team.

Been living here for almost 2 years. Maintenance has always been quick and same day. Management is always friendly and quick to get things fixed. I love that they involve the apartment community in different game nights or activities.

My company rented me a two bedroom apartment. I lived there only one week when my mother got sick. I had to leave town to be with her. My company moved someone else in to finish the lease. When I moved in I put a $350.00 non refundable pet deposit down plus a $150.00 refundable pet deposit. When I moved they promised me I would get back my $150.00. But 3 months later all I get is the runaround. I wouldn’t rent from a company that won’t due what they promised. They kept telling me they had to get into the apartment to inspect it well I was there for one week and my pet is potty trained and have never ever peed or ruined anything. A month after I moved they told me they still haven’t inspected the apartment. Well someone else has been living there for three months now. So if the inspect it now who knows what the new tenant has done. Bad way of doing business.

The apartment are beautiful you guys! But mangers be so lost because there is always new people that are confused. Long story short brides on Kinsey has this policy where they have to give us a 24 hour notice before anyone come in your apartment. Well they didn't they broke and entered into our apartment!! Oh and not to mention they forgot to give us our rent bill. They give us 100 late fee the next day because they claim they gave us our bill. BUT read this part, they hang our bills on our door do you know how unsecured that is anyone can take your bill OR you never get a bill like we did! So our bill is 100.00 more because they didn't give us a bill. Monica in the office told me I could of walked down there. No lady that's y'all job that's what you get paid for NOT ME!

I guess "sewage smell in my apartment" doesn't merit a same day service call. The gates have literally worked 5% of the time I have lived here. The staff is a revolving door of unprofessional, unresponsive, people that fake respect and attentiveness. On the upside, this is a great location, and the rent is reasonable.

Despite some reviews I read, I decided to stop by the Bridges on Kinsey after planning not to. The complex just looked much better compared to the other two complexes I was visiting in the area. And I am glad I did stop by. I decided to sign here and have had a very positive experience so far (except one missing package which could have been on the carrier). I've never had problems with management and work orders get done in a timely manner. No issues within the community, great neighbors. I feel safe here and having my vehicle parked here. The grounds are kept in beautiful condition, something that stood out to me and I really appreciate. The gates are the only issue I could see here for some people. They break down quite a bit and take time to get running again, but it's not that the management doesn't try. All in all, I like it here and have resigned! - Sam J.P.

I have lived here for almost a year, and have not had any problems. The staff is friendly, the apartments are spacious and appliances actually work! If you have a question or concern, they are very helpful and quick to fix the problem! Definitely recommend! Laura McGuire

The maintenance is great! Anytime I have an issue it is fixed within 24 hours. The staff in the office is very attentive and easy to approach with questions. This is my second time to lease at the Bridges. I looked at other properties, some far less expensive and some with more amenities; however, at the end of the day, you can't beat the great staff and quick response to any concerns or maintenance needs. I'm a little disappointed in the carpet in my unit and that the access gates are not operational, but overall, the location and well maintained properties are the best. Based on my experiences, The Bridges are worthy of 5 stars. Ann McCoy

Am recent tenant. A property rises/falls due to the quality of its support staff which keeps everything running along day to day. The support staff here is top notch, very responsive to concerns. The property, although an older one, is kept maintained, both the plant and the yard structure.

I just recently transferred from Longfellow Arms, ( same Owners)Longview Texas for work and didn't have to pay to break my lease. I just payed a new deposit and one other fee; all in all very helpful and saved me a lot of money. The staff here is great and the maintenance is quick. Fitness Center is lacking but I wouldn't knock off a whole star for that especially considering how beautiful the property is. I have to say considering the complex is about 10 or so years old now it feels new. Highly recommended.

I just recently moved to this new apartment. I love where I'm at. The staff was really helpful when going through the initial process. The location is very convenient and safe.

These apartments are really nice and the staff is extremely friendly, including the maintenance team. Nice pool and outdoor cooking area, would like to see more tables with umbrellas though. Would highly recommend. -Anthony Vallejo

I moved to the Bridges on Kinsey this year. I love the location in Tyler, my apartment is very spacious, and I love the arched entryways, garden tub, patio, and amenity features. It is an aesthetically beautiful complex, and I appreciate the landscaping/flowers/nicely kept grounds. Service requests have always been completed in a timely manner, and it feels very safe here. Came to apartment living temporarily and feel like I made a great choice here! Also very quiet complex and great places to walk/jog nearby. BHerndon

i have lived here almost a year. It is very quiet and i feel very safe. The staff are very friendly. The complex is always kept clean. I haven't had a problem since I've been here. I would definitely recommend.

We recently moved to Tyler from out of state, and the staff here at the Bridges made us feel so WELCOME!! They were willing to help us anyway they could, and even stayed late on a Saturday for us. It's not everyday that you find that. The maintenance team, they are top notch. They don't leave your apartment until the job is done, and they DO IT RIGHT !! You feel safe and secure here, and you're in a great location. Everything you need is right out your door. You're only a few minutes from everything. The mall, the grocery store, etc.... The Bridges on Kinsey is a great place to live!!

I have lived here 4 years, feel safe here and have been very satisfied. We checked all other facilities before moving here & the beauty & trees is what drew us here in the first place and the trees keep it quiet even though we are just off the loop. The laundry facility is excellent. The location is convenient and only minutes away from everything. Any maintenance request made has been handled in a timely manner. The new management and staff is very friendly and is trying to pull the community together into a neighborhood by having several activities. I have recommended this complex to many friends and will continue to do so. You can find a cheaper apartment to rent someplace else, but they look cheaper also and the laundry facilities are not as big or as nice.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at The Bridges. They have been so helpful and are willing to help in anyway they can. I have been there almost 6 months and have been so glad I chose to live there. Beautiful area and quiet.

We love living here. The stuff is great. They are very nice and very understanding. The maintenance team is also so very nice. We move here since June and we fall love here. It five minutes from the mall and a 8 minutes ride to Wal-Mart it's the center everything we need.

Recently moved into the Bridges on Kinsey and I have had nothing short of a great experience. The staff is super friendly and the facilities are top notch. The complex is quiet and peaceful even though I am minutes from anything I could possibly want in Tyler such as shopping, dinning, groceries, etc.... Highly recommend giving the Bridges a look!

I love this apartment community!! When I first moved in the staff was not the greatest, but not the worst I have seen either. NOW THOUGH the new Management their is AMAZING!! I was considering moving after my 12 month lease was up, but after talking with the Manager there now I have renewed my lease with them! I am happy to say this is the first apartment that I have been truly happy at since the new management took over! It has nice amenities, great location, amazing staff, and it just makes you feel happy to come home to one of these apartments! If you have not checked out this hidden Jewel I would highly suggest it to any of my friends! I will be a long term resident at this property as long as the manager they have in place now stays with them!!
