The Bluffs Apartment Homes

This complex is awful and they don’t care about residents. Multiple cars have been stolen lately and their response was to say nothing to residents. They didn’t make anyone aware. They hired “security” for a couple weeks, but it was just someone driving around the complex at random and they didn’t give the security people access to bathrooms or anything so they had to leave for breaks all the time- aka there was no security. They refuse to put up cameras either, despite the police recommending it! Inside the apartments, they claim to have updated them but they’re disgusting. Carpet smells like animals, walls are cracked, you can’t wash the walls because the pain literally comes off in flakes. The bathtubs are so unstable that they creak and move when you get in (even a kid!) and when we have complained about tiles falling off and mold being under them (despite regular cleaning) they just try to cover it up. AND they’re raising the rent significantly so it’s not even worth it! The maintenance is a joke and the office staff don’t care about residents. There are roaches everywhere inside and out (we lived here and paid for our own additional pest control because the complex pest control didn’t even come in our apartment) DO NOT LIVE HERE!!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. These apartments are disgusting, I lived there for 6 months, from the moment I moved in there were roaches, I talked to them and the pest control people did nothing; then something was damaged in the bathroom it damaged the entire carpet in the dining room and they couldn't find a way to fix it so when I left they took away the entire deposit when all the penalty was theirs for bad administration

If you want to live with mice and roaches, by all means, go ahead. These apartments are extremely old and all the habitants of the nature around it have easy access into your unit. There are openings under the water heater and bathroom sink. The office knows that but won’t do anything about it. Also Rhonda, was never helpful with any of these situations and she always had an attitude when I told her MICE WERE RUNNING THROUGH MY APARTMENT. They also did not let me end my lease. DO NOT MOVE HERE. It’s big, but it’s a roach motel...

This place is absolutely horrible! My sister has lived here for two years and we have seen so many roaches. And the leasing office has done NOTHING about it. Even when she moved in: paint was thrown all over the place, the floors is cheap and coming up. The sink had hair coming out of it. As much as she pays in rent, it should have been nice and ready. But it wasn't! DO NOT MOVE HERE! The leasing office and maintenance crew are sorry. She is moving out still with a leaky faucet that she asked them to fix. Not to mention she did have mice but they did take care of that. So that's why I gave them one star.

I love being able to live in downtown Spartanburg literally near EVERYTHING! But it was hard to find a nice place to call home until I found The Bluffs! Savannah takes time to reach out to the community and make sure our issues/complaints are took care of. When I call up to the office Brittany is always a lovely person to talk to and makes my day! The maintenance men know exactly what they are doing and takes care of every issue that I have. These good attitudes are very hard to find in today’s world and they all make sure their residents are took care of and continue to be happy where they are calling home!

My fiancé and I toured with Britney and she was amazing! Quick answers to all of my questions in a way that I could easily understand, as we were first time home buyers, and she was super friendly. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. My cat absolutely loves laying around the fire place! Definitely a great place to stay, wouldn’t reccomend anywhere else!

still deciding if we want to stay here it is a little bit out of our price range but Britney was so nice and helpful duringour tour she answered all of our questions with no problem at all the other lady was very nice to I just forgot her name if you come here ask for Britney

Great looking apartments in a secluded natural environment. Though we ended up going with a different place this time The Bluffs was definitely on our list till the end. Brittany was very nice and great to work with.

I just have to say, we toured with Brittany and she is absolutely phenomenal! Meeting us as soon as we got to the door! Very knowledgeable about the community, and her personality was so warm and inviting. The townhouse we saw was so cute and homey. The fire place is the perfect touch!! Us and our cat would have loved living here! We will definitely recommend the Bluffs to anyone looking for an apartment!

I stayed there 3 years and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff especially Savanah and Cory. My dog tore up half the house when she was a puppy but they were really nice and I paid to get it fixed and everytime I had a problem they were out there to fix it in a day or so. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed staying there and would recommend it to anyone

I just moved here on a last minute acceptance of a job. The move was hectic, but they made everything a smooth transition. They were able to see me on the only day I was available in the area. They communicated everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. The office staff is great, and everything is well kept and clean. I’ve been here for a month, and I love it! My one bedroom unit is the perfect size for me. I love the fireplace in the living room. It really gives it a homey vibe. The screened in porch is a perfect way to enjoy rainy days. And the location is so very convenient to getting anywhere in the area. You’re never to far from anything!

I live here. 1 year love my apartment 2bedroom n 2 bath.Great very clean quit.The Office staff and repair men are very nice .Great place to live I just sign another year..Me n my husband check out other places but this place make you feel home .. Very safe other neighbor is so nice .You can be happy to call The Bluff home.

I’ve just moved here, and the staff is very very sweet! They respond quickly to emails, and never fail to answer any of our questions. The apartment is very nice inside and out. It’s a very clean community. The whole process was very easy. It’s overall a great place to live.

My family moved here when our son was just over one year old. He has loved living here, exploring the wooded property, swimming in the well maintained pool, and getting to know the friendly office staff and neighbors. The staff has learned his name and will stop to chat with him when they see him. Maintenance issues are always handled in a timely manner, with a professional demeanor. I’m so thankful we found the Bluffs! It has been the perfect home for us for over two years now.

I’ve been living at the Bluffs for a little over one year. I love the fact that my home is secluded with trees and very private but at the same time, the city is right down the street. It’s a pretty quiet area as well. The apartment staff are very nice and always fulfill any needs I have for the apartment.

My apartment is a good size. Both bedrooms have large walk-in closets. The spacious living room has a cozy fireplace and sliding door onto the screen porch.My cat especially loves the screen porch. I feel safe and secure here. When the tornado hit here in October the maintenance staff secured the area and cleared trees from the roadway. All the kids know that Friday is treat day and come running to the office after they get off the bus. The pool is kept clean and safe. The office staff is very caring with the children and provide little events for them through out the year. I have been to the fitness center at night and never felt concern. This is a great place and I love the entire staff. People should definitely consider this complex when looking for a place for their families to enjoy life.
