The Bixby

I initially chose The Bixby for proximity to my job, but once I toured the building I knew this was home. From the moment I contacted the leasing office for a tour, I’ve had nothing but professional interactions with every member of the staff from the office, maintenance, etc. If I ever have a question or issue, they respond immediately and with truly genuine care. I moved from several states away so had slight sticker shock at Massachusetts’ rent prices, but The Bixby is luxurious for an excellent price and comparable to the local area’s independent landlords. The only utility I pay is electricity, where almost every other place I looked at didn’t include utilities at all, didn’t allow pets, and were priced higher! They have a keyless entry system which is very convenient; letting guests/deliveries in without needing to go down to the lobby has been a perk I didn’t know I was missing until now! I’m very glad that I chose The Bixby, and would highly recommend this community to anyone.

Moved in yesterday and the community was so welcoming! So many people were saying hi and trying to help on their way out or in. The common area is beautiful!

The Bixby is more than an apartment building, it’s my home! The only small downside is the tight parking spots but the building location, the apartment decor/furnishings, the thick walls that prevent hearing neighbors is what makes this the perfect place to live.

Place is great, however the leasing agent is not friendly, did not seem to care during every encounter, and just always seems to be in a bad mood. She is not approachable, nor comes off as if she cares about your best interest. Conversation with her is hard to conduct, and limited. The unit pre move in was dirty, and was not cleaned. Although I do love this apt, I was very unimpressed when moving in with how it was not close to move in ready. Great place overall, just very poor when it comes to the little things that matter.

We enjoy our apartment and must say whenever there is a problem that arises the management is there to solve the problem. Sarah and maintenance staff are always there to listen and resolve the circumstances.

The Bixby is a gorgeous community building with amenities, view, and proximity that makes for a happy life. I'm thankful to have access to this lifestyle!

It’s a nice quiet community! And what my husband and I were looking for! Big space and lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. Rent includes parking garage services which is a blessing! No more cleaning my car off!

Seems nice at first. However, was severely disappointed about the parking situation being misled to believe I would have 2 spots. Upon moving in realized the carpet was never cleaned, vacuuming pulled up what felt like years worth of pet hair and dust build up. The oven also does not work... despite having moved in, I can't actually start living here since I can't cook. For the cost, this place should be light years better than it is.

It’s fine. Garage is insane sometimes packages just go to random spots becoming more of a hide and seek. Good spot close to commuter rail, pets allowed, garage is just hell. Prices are insane. Staff is nice.

I've enjoyed my stay so far. very welcoming One of the highlights has been the impeccable service. The staff goes above and beyond to cater to every need, helpful concierge recommendations, their dedication to guest satisfaction is truly commendable. Beyond the comfort of my apartment, the restaurants out here are outstanding. Whether indulging in sports bars, enjoying a delicious meal, or lounging by the dock with breathtaking views, every moment has been a delightful experience. Exploring the surrounding area has also been a pleasure. The location is ideal, offering convenient access to cultural landmarks, vibrant markets, and scenic landscapes. Each excursion has been filled with discovery and wonder, enriching my overall experience.

This apartment offers a perfect blend of beautiful scenery and a warm, friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live.

Very clean and friendly apartment. Quite atmosphere ! Close to downtown restaurants and convenient stores which make things extremely convenient I’m going out!!

Close to many things specially the train which means you can live here car free, lovely location, very affordable housings, and the building is very convenient

Of the 2 elevators one is always down. The normally working elevator was not usable on 1/29 for a period of at least 1/2 hour. Took a call to the main office after waiting 20 minutes. Yes the stairs were available but I am using O2 to remain mobile, climbing 3 flights was not an alternative at that time. Oh and no notification was provided as to the issue that shut down the only working elevator. Packages are not being left in the package room. Instead the packages are stacked under the mailboxes.

I have enjoyed my time here. I can’t wait for the good weather to be able to sit at the river walk and walk the trails for exercise. It’s in a great location to downtown Haverhill. Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance.

I am really enjoying living here at The Bixby. Great View, amenities, and the lady in the leasing office is amazing and very helpful in getting me settled in!

Great apartment building, easy to pay rent online, pets allowed, I have never had any noise issues. The gym and group area are easily accessible and its never busy, everyone is very chill. Its walking distance to the commuter rail and in downtown haverhill, the cost is comparable to everything else in this area.

I love living at The Bixby. It feels like a home rather than just an apartment. It’s quiet, it’s clean, the maintenance team is wonderful and attentive. The only con I have (and it’s not a big deal to me) is the parking. The parking spots are very tight. But with all the positives that come with living at The Bixby, the parking doesn’t bother me. I just renewed my lease not too long ago and am so happy to call this place my home!

The property and our apartment is beautiful! We love the bixby. The gym they have is the perfect size and my girlfriend and I love that you have to download the butterfly app to have access to the building and certain areas of the building.

Place is infested with Mice. Pest control just comes and lays out a few sticky traps a couple times a year but doesn’t do anything to address the root cause

The apartment building is great. Everyone is really nice and friendly as far as staff and residents. It’s always clean and quiet. And if you have a question or a problem, they are always quick to get in touch with you to fix the issue.

Overall good, lack of parking is the only issue just not enough space. Walls between units are thick and can only hear noise in the hallway but not from neighbors in their units

Great building , great maintenance, quiet nobody bothers you it's the best . they will meet your needs they will answer quickly everyone is so nice and friendly, greeted everyday by someone new no noisy people

Great location and moving in and registering is easy, they use an app system for opening the doors and if someone comes to the door you'll get an alert on your phone. the price isnt great but nothing in haverhill is, it's worth it for the price, you can have pets, that's rare for apartments.

It has been pretty good so far I just wish there was better communication with the leasing office. The building it self is so amazing and the street we are located on has lovely things down it !

Just moved in, everyone has been extremely helpful with information concerning the complex. apartment was in very good shape upon our arrival.

This is a very nice building the neighbors are very polite and animals are excepted. The gym is a plus. No more paying monthly for planet fitness

I love everything about this place so far. Staff and management are alway on top of everything especially if in need of help. I’m glad I chose bixby as place of residence.

We've been through the bitter with the sweet in the many years that we've called The Bixby our home. (Enduring some pretty nefarious characters for neighbors.) But aside from that, I feel like our current Property Management Team is the best one yet!

Unless you enjoy mice, leaks, and the phrase "we have the problem out for bid", don't do it. There are far nicer apartments for less money and without the nightmares. Myself and family members rented apartments here and dealt with months of mouse infestations to the end result of thousands of dollars in property damage. Pest control ended up giving up on it stating "the buildings infested at this point, they aren't going anywhere." Do you like mice crawling out of your stove? walking across your living room at night? living in your closets? if not move to any other place in downtown Haverhill. Want an indoor water feature? AKA leaking apartments that will never be fixed to the point that your carpets are growing mold? The cordovan and hamel mills may be for you. I lived in this building for 5 years and watched it cruble apart around me. Previous management never kept up with repairs so when Lincoln property bout it and the cost of damages kept piling up they essentially threw their hands up and are now letting it rot. You'll put in requests for problems to be fixed and they slap a band aid on it to say they "fixed it" and the issue will be back within days, thats if they fix it at all. After all my leaking bedroom was "out for bid" for 8 months without any resolution or attempt to fix it. But dont worry they made sure to increase my rent in that time to "match the current cost of the local rentals". RUN AWAY

I'm really in love with this place the view is incredible on top of the staff here are fantastic people the other tenants here are really nice also I have not had any issues

Staffing is extremely nice, the neighbors are judgmental though and the Hallways always smell weird and people don’t clean up after their animals. The building itself is nice and has nice apartments and a good view and close to amenities

The Bixby staff has been very friendly and helpful throughout out move and stay here. The gym is a very nice perk to have within the building, along with the building being so close to downtown!

Love it and it's so quiet , Landlord is super fast with answers and living here has been so peaceful nobody ever bothers and everyone minds their business i barely see my neighbors , I wish parking in the garage wasn't so tight but it's not bad because i don't need to park on the street

We. Moved into this two bedroom in Feb - love it it here as it over looks a view of the river with a small balcony and very spacious living room. Management has been nothing but helpful and positive in our settling in this new apartment.

Great place to live and close to major transportation and restaurants. We love our views of the river. The only downside is that rent increases have been quite high and parking it very tight.

Nice apartment. Building & property are well maintained. Nice gym and recreation room. No issues with noise from neighbors. I have enjoyed living here so far!

Great staff and great neighbors. I love the apartment and all the great features and Benigits. The gym and game room a great plus to living at the complex.

Great place to live. Everyone is very friendly, especially management. The maintenance staff is fantastic and is very friendly. Never have to wait long for a maintenance request to be completed.

I was told that because it was a concrete building I wouldn't hear noise from other apartments which is false. The doors on every apartment should be solid to containe the noise. The windows should be of better quality where the building is downtown Haverhill with alot of noise to block some of it. I already know I won't continue living her after my lease for the money charged and what I'm getting in return. The rugs in the hallways are stained which I brought up before I moved in. For the money I pay I expected more.

The Bixby is a fabulous place to live with great amenities, very nice upgraded spacious living areas and the outdoor ambiance is just as pleasant. You cant go wrong with the Bixby and the amazing restaurants and shops right outside the door! Outstanding!

The Bixby is the place to be great staff and amenities and best of all the location to all of the awesome restaurants right next to us. Beautiful ambiance and the upgraded units are nice and modern.

Great place to live in Haverhill. Convenient to all downtown shops. (Yes yes covid, but afterward it will be even better!) View of the river from most apartments!
