Property Ratings at The Billy Goat
I had the pleasure of staying at The Billy Goat over the summer, and it was truly an exceptional experience. While they may not have as many on-site amenities as some other apartment complexes in the area, they more than make up for it with their outstanding service, prime location, and strong sense of community. The property managers were incredibly attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind. Among the many times they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress-free, one instance stands out: when our washer and dryer malfunctioned, they replaced them with brand-new units within two days—talk about exceptional service! The apartment itself was nothing short of luxurious. It was spacious, modern, and perfectly located near the lively Nulu strip, where there's always something to do. From amazing restaurants to local shops, everything was just a short walk away. During my stay, I even got to experience the Nulu Block Festival, an incredible annual event that made the summer feel even more special. The neighbors were another highlight—friendly, courteous, and respectful. The community vibe made it feel like a second home, and I already miss it! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium living experience.
Throughout my entire lease, they were helpful, responsive, communicative, and even casually checked in to make sure that everything was going well!
I've been renting here for about 4 months now, and it has been a great experience so far. The location is amazing! You can't beat it. I can walk to several shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Everyone on the team is so nice. Whenever I have a request or question it gets addressed right away. I couldn't be happier with my decision to live here!
The location is perfect for me. Within walking distance to dozens of restaurants, bars, shops and parks. Easy and close access to both 64 and 65. The character of the building is amazing, the courtyard is unheard of in a downtown setting and the family that owns and runs the property are just amazing.
I absolutely love living here at the Billy Goat! This was definitely the greatest decision I made when relocating from out of state. This place is in a great location, has so much character, style and quality but the people and the service are what makes The Billy Goat stand out even more! The management is superb and the care they take to make you feel at home is absolutely outstanding. I am very happy here and highly recommend to future neighbors.
I am here working temporarily and far from home. The entire Billy Goat family has adopted me while in Louisville!!! My place is beautiful and cozy making it a true home away from home. They worked with me from the beginning as I planned my move across three states. If I were a permanent resident, this would be the perfect place for me.
I instantly felt at home here. They were so kind in finding the perfect size apartment for me. It's beautifully furnished and has a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. The location is quiet, clean, up-to-date, and conveniently located near downtown and walking to NuLu restaurants, shops, and bars. Every neighbor I meet is kind. Gated private parking and a cleaning service are available for your convenience.
I was here for about 6 months on a short term job contract and absolutely loved every day I spent at the Billy Goat. The only thing better than these tastefully furnished apartments would be the hospitality the hosts have to offer Jamie, Lindsey and everyone at the office are the nicest people you will come across in the hospitality industry...they were attentive to my needs and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. only had one maintenance call on a minor issue that was resolved before midday the next day..you just can't beat that. Thanks for a great time guys, if I'm ever back in Louisville, the Billy Goat will definitely be my first pick for accommodation.
My husband and I enjoyed our experience at the Billy Goat apartments. The property is clean, well kept, and safe. The neighbors and staff are friendly and respectful. Our apartment was furnished and perfect for what we needed. Would highly recommend.
The Billy goat is a longtime personal favorite of the Nulu area! The gated building has a classic meets modern feel with nice amenities and nestled by a beautiful courtyard and gazebo. It feels safe & secure and the apartment is spacious and cozy. Also there’s always plenty of parking and it’s just steps away from lots of great local restaurants, shops, distilleries and bars. There’s really been no cons to living here and it’s been a very enjoyable experience!
I could not be happier living in The Billy Goat. The people here are friendly, NULU has a lot going on and the staff does a great job of taking care of any issues that you might have quickly and efficiently. I live in a furnished apartment that has everything I need. I like that there is fenced in parking, a gym coming on-line and a place to get my hair cut. Even though they are still renovating apartments, the crew does a great job of starting after 8 am and always cleaning up any messes before for finish everyday. All in all, a great place to call home.
Don't let the name deceive you, yes its a fun name, but these are very Chic well appointed apartments in a fantastic location. Walking distance to great restaurants, bars and close to all the sights in Louisville. The hosts are amazing to work with, and very attentive. I highly recommend.
From the cool neighbourhood to the secure carpark to the beautiful ivy-rimmed courtyard to the incredible gym to the well-lit, updated, spacious floorplans, my wife and I couldn’t love this place more.
