The convience life style and a good community. Its right next to 494 and 94. Theres pools and a in-house gym but if I want to go the extra mile, Experience Fitness is just right down the road. After my workout, I can just walk across the street to get something to eat and walk a few minutes to get home. If I want grocery, Costco and Whole Foods is not far. If I need other essentials, target is in my neighborhood. The place is clean with a spacious lobby that feels like a 4 star hotel that has comfortable furnitures. The management and maintenance crew are good. Theyre very fast and responsive. Cons: The lack of space; The kitchen cabinets dont have much room. If you like to cook and have sets of pots/pans, knives and other kitchen wares, your place will easily be clutter. The windows do a poor job for insulation. I can feel drafts blowing through them. Because of this, the temperature fluctuates quite often and your heating/AC unit will constantly turning on.

The Barrington has been a great place to live with my dog. There are plenty of trails in the area for long walks and it's located near everything you need (grocery, bank, etc.). The community is respectful and management is always attentive and professional. Heated underground parking in the Minnesota winter is a huge bonus!

If you are looking for a well maintained, well managed, beautiful apartment complex in a fantastic location....Look no further than the Barrington. It is resort like with pools,water views, and well maintained grounds. The Barrington provides secure access buildings and underground, heated garage parking.Close to all that Woodbury has to offer. Its care free living.
The Barrington apartment community is ideally located, well managed by highly competent and professional staff, and excellently maintained. The amenities available here are numerous and also very well maintained. The buildings and grounds are meticulously well-kept. Apartment community activities and events are well planned and executed and promote an inclusive and enjoyable environment.

It's a good place to live at. Close to everything.
While apartment hunting, this was the only place that responded within the hour. Theres underground parking and theres a trash-shoot so you wont have to go outside for throwing out the trash.
The Barrington is exceptional. Weve only been here for a couple of months but were so happy with experience.
I love living here, maintenance requests are handled in a very timely manner and my apartment is really comfortable. Only improves I would suggest is keyless entry into the building and more space for storage in units

The quality of the apartments (all aspects) with such an affordable rental rate, it's just excellent!
We were unhappy with our previous apartment complex lacking security and safety so we had some pretty high expectations apartment hunting. When we found The Barrington, they were able to get us a property tour that same day which we greatly appreciated. Kris was very professional and informative while also being very personable,which is something we greatly appreciated! We liked the community feel we felt from day one. We ended up wanting to sign a lease that same day & we moved in that weekend! (Thank you again to the office for pushing ahead the paperwork & our fast pace move in! Greatly appreciated!) They kept us informed and in the loop the whole time. We love the strong communication from the office! Keep it up team!
Great apartment except for the smoking literally in the hallways. Im sure cameras are either not in service or management doesnt care because hallways still smells of tobacco. 100% if tenants are being fined for smoking inside, they would stop.
We love living here! The staff is helpful and friendly and the location is great.
The Barrington is a beautiful, quiet, safe,well maintained, apartment community in an ideal location. In the heart of everything. I can do everything, Run all my errands, go the grocery store, bank, dentist, doctor, see a movie and go to dinner. Or get my hair and nails done. within a 3 mile radius. I bus to downtown Minneapolis to work, the park and ride is a stones throw away. Very convenient.

The apartments are spacious, it's well lit and a safe community for everyone. The maintenance crew have resolved anything immediately and have always been extremely nice. The best part is the amazing people in the leasing office. Wendy and Kris know me by name and have always been more than great. If you're looking for an apartment with great people all around look no further!

Management is very friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoy living at the Barrington and have been here over 4 years.
Nine months of living at The Barrington has proven this apartment community to be a great place to live. The management and maintenance staff are friendly, helpful and very responsive. The location of The Barrington is absolutely ideal in its proximity to restaurants, retail stores, gas stations, even a movie theater and a Target! Would highly recommend The Barrington as an ideal place to live.
Ive lived in two other apartment complexes and they always felt like stepping stones until we could afford our own place. However at The Barrington, I feel at home. I am in no rush to buy a house. In fact, I have mixed feelings about buying a house as I love our current apartment so much. The day will eventually come when we have to leave, but it will be a sad one. I never thought Id say that I would be sad to leave an apartment complex, but The Barrington is my home.
The Barrington is a very nice to live. They always complete any concern or task that I have. requested.
This community has many families and children and is overall a well maintained, active and friendly community. I am very happy living here!

The Barrington has been wonderful place to live! The vaulted ceiling in my apartment is amazing. The heated garage is so great to have in the winter.

My experience so far was great in term of a growing process and the nature I developed living in such a environment I wish I could stay and call this a home without the reminder of it being an apartment and that I can be kicked out due to high rent not being paid
The Barrington is a wonderful apartment community. Clean, very well maintained and quiet. Heated indoor garage parking and plenty of surface parking as well. All apartments have in-unit washer and dryer. Community has two pools. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, entertainment options and things to do in the immediate area. The property management staff is very professional, courteous and friendly. They also host a number of excellent community social events giving you the opportunity to meet neighbors and make new friends. I highly recommend this complex if you’re looking for an apartment.
I've lived here nearly 2 years. Management is incredible and helpful. How Kris can remember everybody's name is beyond me. I haven't had any problems outside of small maintenance repairs (which happens anywhere you live). Maintenance has always been quick, polite, and effective. We haven't had any issues with noise and hardly ever hear our neighbors. I'm actually really surprised that I don't hear more considering that this complex allows dogs. The property is well maintained and clean. They always give plenty of notice and clear directions about major cleanups such as snow removal. They also keep the sidewalks clear of snow too. The garage is well lit and I always feel safe down there. I have never experienced or witnessed any sort of crime. The local area has everything you could possibly need. We're behind a Target so you can't really complain there. My apartment faces 494 and I never hear the traffic. One last note, I absolutely LOVE having a washer and dryer in my unit. They're small, but that doesn't matter at all to me if it means I don't have to leave my apartment.
I am going on my third year here and I could not be more satisfied. I feel like a lot of the negative reviews were written before it was bought out and remodeled... because I have yet to have a single negative experience with a neighbor, dog, or staff member. If you're looking for an apartment to live in that doesn't have an apartment feel then I highly recommend The Barrington.
We love The Barrington! The apartments are beautifully re-done and the grounds are very well kept. You can tell they truly care about their residents. They have get togethers for different occasions to bring people together which is really nice. We would definitely recommend The Barrington to our family and friends!
After 3 moves in 4 years, I've found a place I can call home. When I moved in, it was the details of giving me a "Welcome Home" gift basket that included the start-ups needed to clean and a recyle carry-all bag to use for grocery shopping. And, my compliments go out to the community director as she remembers your name (with 400 units, that's impressive) when she sees you at National Night Out (which she totally gathers donations & organizes), BINGO, children's events, pool parties, etc.
