Love the neighborhood and office staff! We moved in here over Memorial Day weekend and it was great! The apartment was kind of dirty and the cleaners missed a lot of details, which I don’t blame the office for, but we love the apartment and neighborhood so much, that I was willing to put in the extra elbow grease to make it perfect. I lived here before and loved it so much that we moved back.
Great work The maintenance person got the job done quickly and was very nice. He had to replace a light fixture as well as the lightbulb in the hall. It's nice to have light in the hall again.

Friendly staff & Beautiful community My daily occupation is to work with housing providers, so I have contact with many properties all over the state of Oregon. That being said I had a wonderful personal experience with Avery and their staff. The community is quiet and residents are friendly. It is a prime location for restaurants, grocery stores and the community is very pet friendly.

While our experience living there was great, that changed as soon as we tried to move out. The leasing office messed up our lease when we were supposed to be month-to-month and now we are on the hook for a massive move out charge. Disgusting way of doing business and I'm very upset.

Our apartment is bigger than average for the price. We love the layout, the maintenance is taken care of quickly, and the neighborhood is highly walkable. Lack of air conditioning resulted in a few uncomfortable summer days but our windows had shade from trees. The pool was accessible most of the summer. The office staff is always pleasant but work for a giant world wide property management company which is unlikely to say yes to any special request. They claim to have a clubhouse and it is featured in photos. There is no access to the clubhouse outside of office hours. Thus, a more accurate description for the space is 'large lobby'. They list "guest apartment" as an amenity. This was eliminated by the new owners. I like living here but if any amenity is important to you, know that my lease states that such extras can be ended at any time by the landlord.

Overall a good place to live, until move out. Claimed to find pet urine on the carpet, never had a pet in out apartment, and kept the apartment in great shape. They were unwilling to work with us in any way, despite multiple offers attempted to charge us 2x normal costs. Charged us exorbitant move out fees and nickeled and dimed us for every penny.
I lived here for 2 years. Management, staff and facilities are terrible. Got charged an enormous charge after move out that was not fair. I’ve been communicating with them regularly but they’re very rude and adamant and don’t seem to understand logic and reasoning. The trash pick up and recycling services are abysmal. Do yourself a favor and live in one of the apartments across the train station. They’re much better, more sanitary and you get better value for your money.
Horrible! We signed a lease without being able to see the unit as we were coming from out of state and it was not ready when we visited. When moving in the place was dirty with food residue in the cabinets and on the counters. The apartment reeked of curry for a month. The carpet was old and thread barren in several places and had several stains. I filled out the move in sheet listing all my complaints. They asked if I wanted the carpet replaced and I explained that I have a child with special needs that is very sensitive to smells, especially the chemical smells of new paint or new carpet and that we could make it work. We had two bikes and several packages stolen. The quality of the apt is bottom line for top dollar. We paid $1850 for a 3 bedroom. Upstairs neighbors paid $1650 for the same floor plan. The dishwasher constantly broke down and was replaced with a similar one that while was not broken, it did not work well. The broil on the oven never got very hot. The apartment had no airflow and had ongoing mold despite my having windows cracked in every room and cleaning with bleach. In the summer it is hotter inside than out due to the lack of air flow. The laundry room always had an odor. We decided not to renew our lease. We rented a house in the neighborhood and had a 3 week overlap allowing for time to move and clean the apartment. I cleaned absolutely everything! I knew the carpet would need to be replaced as it needed to be replaced before we moved in and my kids added numerous new stains. We had hung pictures on the wall leaving holes that needed to be patched. We received our final move out letter from Orenco: $156 Apartment Clean $629 Carpet Replacement and Pet Seal $127 Paint Charges $25 Patio Door Blind I agreed with the Paint Charges and Patio Door Blind. Not the carpet! Not the cleaning! I called immediately and was told that they would talk to the director. I explained the charges I agreed to and those that I did not. I was told that they would get back to me. A week later I receive a call that the only change they are willing to make is to half the cleaning fee. Nope still not paying for the carpet or any cleaning. Orenco needs to take responsibility for the dirty damaged property that we moved into and understand that we were not going to eat the cost of their needed repairs. Orenco needs to use their increased profits to fix their units and stop trying to pass along the cost to tenants. So disappointed.
Good sized unit with immediate access to the max line. Kitchen is a great size for an apartment.
