Property Ratings at The Avenue
This place served its purpose. Garage for car is biggest selling point. Not having a buzzer and having to have key for each floor, is another security feature that I liked. I chose the best room available, and I'm content with the 2 bedroom with decent carpet. Since its so affordable you're gonna share space with unclean people, with unemployed people and also people you normally wouldn't surround yourself with. Personally I didn't have any issues with anyone though. I went elsewhere to do laundry, it isn't that type of place that I'm gonna leave stuff behind that I like. I wished that their elevator worked. It doesn't. Honestly its a great spot just needs a lot of updates. The Location is perfect, highway is like less than 5 minutes away. I'm confident that as the rent rises the conditions will be better. This place served its purpose.
Terrible place. The place smells like cigarettes and weed constantly. Whoever cleaned it before I moved in left the cleaning supplies in the doorway. There was a hole in the wall from the doorknob in the bedroom that wasn’t fixed. I found trash in the kitchen drawers. Every time I use the oven the smoke alarms go off. I also can’t get anything delivered because there is no buzzer and the front door sometimes randomly locks so the back door is constantly propped open because they don’t give out keys for these 2 doors.
