The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Artisan Apartments
They don't like to fix anything and the maintenance is lazy, plus will kick you out asap if you don't come up with rent fast.
Lived here for 3 years personally followed by a lot of my friends and family who lived here until 2022. The management changed recently and it is quite terrible now. Our entire apartment flooded due to their negligence on pipes and water heater maintenance in another apartment and the management company did nothing to compensate us for the damage to our belongings. We did not hold this against them and let them torture us with the smells and constant noise of blowers for weeks, just so they wouldnt have completely mouldy foundations. The air conditioner used to break routinely and yes the maintenance staff was great about fixing it the best they could, but management always made it seem like they were doing us a huge favor by fixing it. When we left the apartment, they made a huge bill of check out issues in addition to the security deposit that they never refunded to us, despite us having thoroughly cleaned the apartment behind us leaving it in better shape than we first moved into it. This is what we got after living in 3 different apartments over 6 years and always paying rent on time.
Staff is always friendly and responsive. I have a 1/1 and there is plenty of storage. There also is a washer and dryer in my unit which is very handy. It is quiet and I have not experienced any noisy neighbors. People seem respectful and there is a nice mix of tenants.
I moved into here in the beginning of the year. Things were very good then, with friendly staff and prompt maintenance. Now, the complex has. new ownership. I was leery at first, but I now am pleasantly surprised to see the amount of improvements taking place! The staff has grown, BUT the original staff is still here, and they are all friendly Upgrades are taking place everywhere. Needless to say, I just signed my new lease. I plan to be here for quite a while! ( If you desire to live here, tell the beautiful ladies in the office that I sent you!)
promised any upgrades and got decreases in services and amenities. Twice in 2 (two) weeks were flooded because of no preventive maintenance. Built I n the 60's and will not repair until needs replacement. Old plumbing old toilets etc.... Fired security so there is NONE. Have a fine outside light system but turn off at latenight. Projects across the street are now having a field day.
We are having no trouble getting acclimated from house to apartment especially since my very large bedroom has his and hers walk-in closets. This place has it all, the perfect location (close to several colleges and hospital), huge closets, terrific staff, 2 pools and tennis court. We are in the heart of everything and can easily walk to shopping or restaurants. We have had a few maintenance issues since we've been here and everything was addressed and quickly repaired. Our rent is very reasonable and it includes water, pest control and cable TV. We also have a washer and dryer included in our rent. We recently renewed our lease for another year.
I've heard some stories from other tenants and I know that they are trying to renovate every apartment. Luckily for me my apartment was furnished with new carpet, appliances and cabinets before I moved in. I only had a problem with ants for a few weeks but I just kept putting out ant traps and caulking the little holes that they were coming in and I guess they went somewhere else. My appliances worked great b/c they were all new. A/C went out once and they quickly had it fixed. It was not loud and did not cost a lot every month. Electric bill was usually pretty low and water/cable were free. Every time I extended my lease the rent went up but not by a lot. There was never really any noise within the complex, even 4th of July fireworks were not permitted. As stated in another post, across the street there is usually the police mobile command unit, and they would be shooting off fireworks until 5 in the morning for consecutive days. Also, you can hear the bass all the way across the street if you live close to the road, and there is six lanes of traffic and a large ditch in between. And you can't really call the police to complain b/c you can see that they are already over there, but I guess they're not doing anything about it, I don't know. Other than that, which wasn't all the time, it was a nice place to stay, not too far from the beach, close to everything else in Daytona, and overall a really good place for the price.
Been living here for a while now, The rent is nice for the space. The neighbors are quiet, and there is a curtsy guard that walks the night. The area it self is under alot of construction, across the street is the "projects" so hearing police sirens is a normal thing. But it hasn't leaked over. How ever.. As for living status in our apartment. The water pressure is low - but it's also free. Cable ports are limited and not in every bedroom, at least not ours. The AC is extremely loud and shakes the apartment, on the 2nd floor. And its very very hot, even at 71, so expect a high electric bill if you don't want to sweat. We didn't know that. The stove emits a foul smell that fills the room. The appliances are old, and we don't use the dishwasher, it just sloshes dirty water around. Our first 2 weeks, we had to throw out our food, our fridge coils were full of dirt/dust and old cat toys.. not ours. Upon cleaning out the cabinets, we found old spices, and cat medicine. So it's safe to say it wasn't looked/cleaned well before we moved in. The carpet wasn't replaced, it has stains.. and when we vacuumed, we found ear rings, and fill the vacuum multiple times. And the worst part is, We just bought brand new furniture, new table/bedroomsets and living room sets - only to find out the place is infested with termites. It's started with me itching/ then seeing our cats stair at the walls and pounce on them randomly, Then when i vacuum, I saw red/black and white dirt in the corners, and the final hint, was when a piece of molding chipped off and exposed bugs with wings and worms with feet. Termites - ew. We did have other problems with the place, but it was minor and some what fixed, or explained as not possible to fix (as to deal with it.) They do try to come out as soon as possible to fix things, but the place is old, and extremely lived in. The management is up to you - everyone experiences something different I guess. Some days it seems they don't care, and others days, you truly feel like a valued tenant. -We just found out about the termites, I don't know if they knew about it, I can't imagine they didn't/ but I'm sure they will take care of it. Hopefully.
