Property Ratings at The Alibi at Lake Lilly
Since moving here in June, I have had issues from rodents due to the unit not being sanitized prior before move in, I pay for reserved parking $80 monthly mind you- however there’s someone always in my spot. They don’t patrol the spots. You just pay for mess :-) And they don’t clean the hallways it consistently smells like dog urine & trash. Oh & good luck with the mail ! If you choose to move here, get a P.O. Box ! Your mail will get returned to the sender due to this complex having 2 different addresses… oh & no mail delivery drivers have access to the buildings or mail rooms. Good luck. I won’t be renewing . I have pics too.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but after months of ongoing issues and being consistently ignored, I feel compelled to warn others considering moving into this complex. As a current resident, I can honestly say this has been one of the most frustrating living experiences I've ever had. The core issue? Completely negligent and unresponsive management. Maintenance is a joke. Requests go unanswered for weeks—if they’re acknowledged at all. Basic repairs like plumbing, heating, and electrical problems are constantly delayed, and when someone does show up, the work is usually rushed and incomplete. I've had to follow up multiple times just to get simple things fixed. Communication is non-existent. Emails and phone calls to the leasing office rarely get a response, and when they do, it's often vague promises that lead nowhere. There's zero transparency or accountability. Security is a serious concern. Doors to the building are frequently left broken or completely unlocked, leaving residents feeling unsafe. It’s alarming how often this happens, and even more frustrating that management continues to ignore repeated complaints. Cleanliness and pest issues have also been a recurring problem inside the units and shared areas, and again—management has done very little to address it. The most frustrating part is how management seems indifferent to all of this. Residents have voiced concerns multiple times, but the attitude is consistently dismissive. If you're looking for a place where your needs will be respected and your voice heard, this is not it. Until there’s a serious change in how this property is run, I cannot recommend living here. It's been nothing but stress and disappointment.
If you want a more in depth review go look at my 2 part google review: If I could give this complex 0 stars, I would. I’m a current resident, and nothing has improved. The property looks great, but management is unresponsive and unreliable. Doors are left unlocked for months, safety systems don’t work, and car break-ins are common. Communication is poor unless they’re sending fines. My ESA paperwork was submitted at move-in, but I was still charged. They also auto-enrolled me in renters insurance due to their outdated contact info. You can’t pay partial rent if they add fees, even in error. Beautiful place, but not worth the stress.
