Title: Disappointing Experience: TGM Retreat at Danada Apartments Rating: ? My experience with TGM Retreat at Danada Apartments' application process has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. From the outset, it was evident that the management's communication skills regarding the application process were severely lacking, leaving me feeling uncertain and disillusioned. First and foremost, the application process itself was marred by inefficiency and poor organization. Despite promptly submitting all required documents and application fees, I found myself caught in a seemingly endless loop of waiting. The promised background check, which was supposed to be a routine procedure, dragged on for an unreasonably long time without any concrete updates or explanations provided by the management. What exacerbated the situation was the complete lack of transparency regarding the status of my application. Whenever I reached out to inquire about the progress, I was met with vague responses and excuses, leaving me feeling frustrated and neglected as a prospective tenant. It seemed as though the management had no regard for the time and effort applicants invest in the process. Furthermore, the longevity of the background check process was particularly concerning. While I understand the necessity of thorough screenings, the lack of communication and transparency regarding the reasons for the delay was unacceptable. It felt as though the management was giving me the runaround, stringing me along with promises of pending background checks while continuing to accept application fees without any intention of actually renting out units. In conclusion, my experience with TGM Retreat at Danada Apartments' application process was marked by poor communication, inefficiency, and a blatant disregard for applicants' time and concerns. I would caution anyone considering renting from them to proceed with extreme caution and to thoroughly investigate alternative options before committing to such a disorganized and unprofessional management team.
I wish I could give zero stars.This place is a complete rip off. Nonstop noise and construction. The walls are paper thin. Leaf blowers CONSTANTLY. IT IS A JOKE.
The location of this apartment complex is great; there are several shops that are within walking distance and lots of stores that are a quick drive away. Everything else about this apartment complex is a CON. Once TGM bought this apartment complex everything went downhill. You will get constant emails to all residents getting yelled at for parking and garbage violations, as well as emails to NOT talk to the staff if you see them anywhere on the property. If you leave a message or expect them to do anything, be prepared to wait forever or nag in order to get them to do anything. If you open a service request, they will show up when they want with no warning and cancel the request if you don't pick up at 7am the day when they decide to work on your request. The apartment layout is small and not liveable and completely overpriced. The renovations occurred when residents were living there and it was a nightmare that was a huge inconvenience to the residents, on top of a ridiculous price increase. This is not a luxury apartment complex - everything is cheap and overpriced. Be prepared to deal with attitude, complacency, and disrespect at this apartment complex.

I have lived here since 2018 and brag about this community to family, friends and co-workers all the time. The amenities are nice and the fact that I have a garage is awesome. It is clean, safe, and people are very friendly. Management is friendly and professional. Awesome place to live!

Retreat is a community of good people. I love it here. I have so much more than what other properties in the area offer. The staff has been so kind, empathetic and courteous always. I applaud their efforts to unite the community with different events. Now, if they just add a hot tub and a playground.

Retreat at Danada Farms is located in a quiet location that has convenient access to the shopping center. It also gives you the benefit of having all of your indoor space to yourself! Do note that the toilets might be smaller than you expect.
Save your money and go somewhere else. Everything is overpriced and cheap. Things are fixed with little or no effort.

The Retreat at Danada Farms is a beautiful community and location. I love the ability to walk to shopping, dining, and parks. The prairie path and parks are also near enough to bike and hike. I tell my friends and family that these nature spaces are my back yard :-) I also enjoy the friendly staff and maintenance teams. Thank you!!!

Having a good deal of experience with apartment complex living, one thing that I look for is the management team and of course maintenance. Those are the the backbone of the property and how they relate to the residents. Then of course the tenants and their habits, and from where I am and my neighbors, everyone is quiet and well behaved.

We moved from the city and managed to not only upgrade our living conditions, but also found in the suburbs a location that put more in walking distance than our old home in Wrigleyville did! The staff has been nothing but accomodating and what little maintenance has been required, was prompt, courteous and extremely well done.

Wonderful place to live. Office and maintenance staff are standouts. It is especially great for anyone living alone since the area is very safe and you feel like all of the staff are ready and willing to help out with anything. Snow removal is prompt and detailed right to your doorstep. The common areas are well kept. The staff here are community minded, holding several charitable events as well as fun get togethers for residents. Love living here !

The Retreat is great! The community is always kept up and the staff is friendly and very professional. The area is so very convenient to everything shopping, entertainment, trains and expressway. It is the BEST!
Top notch community with awesome amenities, a great office and maintenance staff, and a community that is quiet and surrounded by great stores and eateries. I highly recommend this property.

Living at the Retreat at Danada Farms is like living in your own home with the privilege of having a maintenance staff. The grounds are well kept and the staff is very friendly. The only comment I would make is that there should be an area for the kids to play. It is hard for them to play outside of their garage's when there is traffic. I wouldn't want to see one of the get hurt.
I could not be happier with my new home. The staff goes above and beyond to be courteous and welcoming, and I love how beautiful the buildings and grounds are...very well maintained.
