I recently moved into Tessera at Orenco Station, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent. The community is clean, well-maintained, and provides a quiet, comfortable living environment. One of the standout aspects is the friendly and professional leasing staff—Chanell, Sean, and Chloe have been incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout my entire moving process, which was especially important since I relocated from out of state. The maintenance team is prompt in addressing requests, ensuring that any issues are resolved quickly. The location is also a major plus, with easy access to Orenco Station, shops, and other conveniences. The apartment tour and move-in process were seamless, making the transition smooth and stress-free. If I had to point out one minor drawback, it would be the garage parking situation. It would be great if entry were more regulated, as unauthorized vehicles sometimes occupy parking spots. I hope management takes steps to improve this. Overall, I highly recommend Tessera at Orenco Station to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to live!

When you move in, everything is great and wonderful experience, but once you move out, be ready to be treated as an enemy. They will find any excuse to impose fines on you from cleaning, to move out times. They don’t care.

An overall enjoyable property and surroundings. Very happy with my decision to rent a beautiful apartment at Tessera at Orenco Station, Hillsboro OR.
New resident less than one month. Very happy with my decision to move into Tessera at Orenco Station. Staff is friendly & professional. Apt was move-in ready. Surrounding neighborhood provides ample shopping of all sorts within walking distance or short drive. Public rail transformation minutes away. Same with highway/freeway auto commute. Minutes away from downtown Portland (depends on traffic conditions of course…) Prime urban living with all modern conveniences.

It was hard to move across country but the staff at Tessera at Orenco Station made it very easy and pleasant. The virtual tour was extremely helpful, communication was prompt. And when part of orders arrived before us, it was placed in the apartment. Couldn’t have been happier.

Great place to live truly. Staffs here are so kind, in the level I've never experienced before. Some people are kind, but never get their works done. However in Tessera, people are kind, and actually get the works done properly, quickly with professionalism.
I have been living in Tessera since 2015. It has been a pleasant time for my family to live here. The staff are excellent. The neighborhood has everything one need to live a peacefully.

Tessera has been a pleasant and safe place to live. Staff are responsive to any questions and needs. Overall, the apartment is of sound construction. I have lived in buildings which were not and appreciate the quality of Tessera. I rarely am disturbed by tenants in surrounding units. It is quiet and well maintained.
This is a very dog friendly place I feel safe and secure living here and if anything goes wrong in my apartment they have been very responsive I really like living here.

Leasing procedure was smooth and any questions or concerns I had were addressed. I enjoy the security and accessibility. The neighborhood is walkable and there are services, stores and services in close proximity.
Tessera is a wonderful place to live. The new management is very attentive to concerns and available for communication!

i have been very comfortable and talked to current and past residents who have related very good comfort living here . it has been very conveniant for me as I work downtown Hillsboro and can and do both take the MAX train or drive to work in a short few minutes .the staff and maintanance are freindly and the property is well looked after .
We have lived at Tessera almost 2 years and its by far the best and easiest place weve ever lived! The office staff and maintenance people are extremely friendly, helpful and timely and the amenities here are awesome. We love it here!
Good and secure apartment.
The only reason I gave this a one star is because that's the lowest option. I just finished my lease with them and I would not recommend them to anyone. Overall the course of a year I have put up with so many things they have done wrong. To list some of the few major issues: - I was double charged for utilities one month and management only noticed/ did something about it when I came in and mentioned it. - I rented a storage unit that had a padlock from the previous user on it and for 3 months no one on the management side removed the padlock, I ended up putting my things inside an unused storage unit and no one even noticed/ said anything. - The hallways always smelled and reeked of marijuana - Having packages delivered was a nightmare. First off they allow amazon deliveries to be dropped off right at your front door regardless of if your home or not, which leads to packages being stolen. There are multiple posts on the community discussion board of stolen packages. - The worst and final straw was I got charged an extra days worth of rent. The management informed me without showing me documentation that I had until midnight on the first of the month to return the keys, well turns out i had until the 31st ( the night before ). I was charged for an extra day, even though the management told me to my face that I had until a certain day without actually showing me documentation. - Maintenance request can take up to weeks, if you haven't hounded them a few times they will forget. - Often times the rent is a few days late from their end and they do not inform you it is. - Their online portal is terrible to navigate, I program and develop UI for a living and I have a hard time navigating their portal. - They charge you $100 just to use the community room, not a deposit that's separate $200. They charge you just to use the room, when no other place does. The rooms at tessera are nice the layout is spacious and sleek. However in that area within a few blocks of one another there are a dozen apartments that are cut and paste of the same layout. The only difference is that the management cannot possibly any worse than it is at Tessera. Save yourself the headache and do not choose tessera. If I could give them my true rating it would be -25/5 stars.

I have lived here for over a year and I love it! The staff has always been helpful and offer many community gatherings that give you a chance to meet others. It is located within walking distance of a few restaurants, a tap house, public transportation and a farmers market in the summer. The complex includes a parking garage, for a monthly fee, and limited street parking. Overall I have definitely enjoyed living here!
Not the best apartments, but pretty good. Seem to be a bit over-priced. Brand new building, which is nice, but it's clear that some of the workmanship is not the best. And there's no AC which can be killer in the summer, plus no central heating.
