Everyone in the office is amazing. Laura, Lisa, Karen and the manager have all been so kind and professional. The property itself is always beautiful, clean and well kept. The events are always nice and appreciated. The maintenance crew is amazing, Gerson and Jonathan were recently in my unit of which only took them one hour to tend to my issue and they fixed it immediately. I have been a tenant for approximately 5 years and really appreciate everything and everyone here.

Stayed here for a year and it was a nonstop issue one way or another.... Whether it was the fire alarm going off (weekly by the way...get ready), break ins within peoples storage, overflowed trash spilling into the parking lot walk ways, something was ALWAYS going on at this place. I looked at a bunch of places nearby and regret choosing this place. The staff is nice at first, but quick to blame issues on others. We reported a leak above our bathroom for months and nothing got resolved, leading to an orange ring around the tub. When it came time to move out they blamed it on us and said we never reported it........ There are plenty of other places to stay in Northridge, trust me stay elsewhere

The apartment community and staff at Terrena is amazing. It is always kept well maintained and there are never any issues. Geetika has been so great since she started at the office, she's always helpful and understanding of any needs. Highly recommend living here, love the place!

I’ve lived here for over 1 year, and on the 2 issues I have had, the maintenance team follows up within 24 hours. Garrison and Jonathan just fixed a closet issue I had with the hanging racks and they now work like new! I’ve lived in several places and it is sometimes very hard to get something fixed quickly! The team here is great!

After many moving experiences, Terrena is one of my fav specially with the new staff at the office, who became good friends as well, thank you Mr Kyle for making my moving to my new apartment smooth and such an easy process. He is always ready to welcome you at his office, solves the problems really fast, and minimise the complication of any subject i am trying to solve at the terrena apartments from moving apartments to general informations. The maintenance team is so friendly specially gerson as well, fast and trustworthy. The ladies in the front desk are so welcoming supportive and ready to help and answer any questions any time. From my experience i really recommend Terrena Apartment as you new home!

Pros: • Very nice & friendly staff (Lease office, Cleaning Crew, Maintenance) • Space design is very optimized Cons: • Door slamming contest, it can happen at midnight or anytime of the day and it creates a massive shake and vibration that you feel it spine deep and makes you jump out of bed with anxiety. It is so embarrassing when you have guests over since they freak out and ask you ‘’WTH was that?’’. I spoke with the management & staff many times about this but absolutely nothing has been done. I even did the investigation and work to figure what units are doing this and let the management know but still no action or improvements. They just take notes to pretend that they care. • The neighbor below my unit had heavy walking / on heels and was very active till 2 or 2:30 am so I basically couldn’t sleep until 2ish am due to his door slamming and heavy walks. This was brought up to the management and the response was that there is nothing that they can do about it. • Every week expect to wake up from smell of weed since your neighbors would do it and turn on their fan so that it straight up comes to your unit. Or even if they do it in their balcony, the smell still gets into your unit through the windows. When I spoke to the security about this, they mentioned that if they are smoking in their unit or balcony there is nothing that they can do about it. • People leaving their balcony doors open and you hear constant dog barks & loud music (even late nights) • If the units are playing a very loud music that you can feel the vibration in your unit and call security, they say that there is nothing they can do since it is not after hours. • Occasional dog poops in hallway, stairs, and open areas. • If your unit is close to the main entrance parking lot forget about sleeping. Cars flying over the speed bumps and making a huge sound. Cops, fire fighters, ambulance, Access van, move in trucks, mid night Ubers, cars with loud music at night, random drunk people yelling getting off cars, etc. • Loud engine cars racing through the parking lot which would make the alarm of other cars to go on. Plus, it’s a safety hazard for other cars and pedestrians. • Many cars without the sticker / permit illegally parking in residential parking which is straight up an insult to the residents that paid for parking. Management, or security has never ever towed their cars. • Fire alarms going off on average once a week even in the middle of night • A lot of trespassing

They deserve minus 5 stars! A nightmare of leasing experience, nobody ever taking responsibility for their lack of responsiveness, no shame in lying to your face, zero understanding of the situation, and absolute zero sense of remorse to refund your deposits. If you like your sanity, take your money and run away from these people with their sick practices.

This was supposedly a non-smoking building but there were some college kids living in an apartment on my floor that were obviously the source of constant cigarette smoke yet the management did nothing about it. The fire alarms also go off constantly. The management claims that is just standard for newer apartment buildings but this is by far the worst I've experienced out of several new buildings. Some of the people who live here are very nice and I definitely had some friends who I would see in the dog walk area. But otherwise I would definitely not recommend living here. The gates are broken about 50% of the time so be very aware of your surroundings as it's right next to a huge storage building. There are much better deals in the area so keep looking!!!

Hi Jayne, I understand that you are upset about being charged a fee for leaving behind furniture in your apartment (which is the real reason for the negative review). As stated in the notice to vacate form that you signed, residents who leave behind trash and/or furniture we be billed for the trash out. We do enforce the non-smoking policy and have even evicted past residents who violate this rule. Sometimes it is difficult to locate the source and when we do, we take action. The alarms only go off when they're supposed to. We last two alarms (2 weeks apart) were due to a child pulling one of the pull stations. We reviewed our cameras and the parents of the child were giving a violation. Currently, our gates are in working order. It's unfortunate that you had to pay extra fees after you moved out but we treat everyone the same when they leave behind personal items.
One of the worst experiences living here at Terrena. Everything the other reviewers are complaining about, such as trash, fire alarms and rude management are 100% accurate. There was even a shooting in the complex!! I lived here for less than year and they charged me over $600 for replacing carpet when there were no stains on the carpet! I did not have any pets, did not spill anything, did not wear shoes on the carpet! I am currently going through small claims court to stop their shady practices! When I tried talking to management they do not even want to engage in conversation and even encouraged me to go to court. That's how arrogant Erica is! Fire alarms are always going on and at all hours of the day and night daily almost!

Hi Marat, we do have negative reviews...mostly from residents who leave there apartments in a condition that is unacceptable and are subsequently charged for the damage. We also have many positive reviews and are certain that people reading these will be able to see through some of the exaggerations. Regarding your carpet...it was new when you moved in. Upon move out, we noticed superficial stains topside, but when we pulled the carpet up it had a few stains that soaked through to the pad. They were obvious pet urine stains. We have photographic evidence of the damage as proof. We're sorry that your experience at Terrena ended this way but we do enforce our move out charges to all residents who leave damage.
The complex has two pools, a fitness area, an indoor and outdoor space for weekly movie nights. The outdoor community spaces also have courtyards, barbeques, and dining tables. The management company employs a "social director" that organizes activities to help get the residents to interact with each other and encourages a sense of community. The Metro stop is within walking distance and the nearest bus stop is a block away. You can also walk to Starbucks, the mall (with movie theatre), and restaurants. The only reason that it does not get 5 stars is that the indoor garage can get a little crazy during "rush" hour and people have a little trouble using the trash shoots. Additionally, while it is supposed to be a non smoking complex, you can always find evidence of people being "BUTT"heads.

My apartment is absolutely fantastic. I love hosting special occasions for my friends in the gorgeous facilities they offer. Most recently I hosted a fabulous wine and cheese extravaganza! My only issue is that I am a recent college graduate still sharing a room. Rent is so high and I am ready to be an adult! Thanks Terrana for being such a great place!!

This is the most fabulous building. I love hosting events for my family and friends. They have the best little rooms for me to have get parties. I also love the convenience of and in house gym. OH! And the mall is in walking distance! I am able to shop and eat right down the street. Unlike a lot of places around me, this place is also filled with families or other young professionals so it's not too loud. And I almost forgot! The parking is beautiful, and not to mention enough for visitors. Thanks Terrena!

Beautiful building full of amenities, including a farm & fresh produce throughout the community. We have been here 12 months & the piercing fire alarm has gone off 32 times. This a non smoking community but people are constantly smoking or pulling the alarm. Collage students race through the parking structure at all hours of the night with super loud base playing. The trash chute rooms are very dirty & most people just throw their trash on the floor. I've seen trash thrown in the window sills, parking spots, in the elevators. My welcome mat was stolen twice as well as holiday decor for halloween and christmas. This is a newer upscale building but frankly it leaves a lot to be desired...especially since its premium pricing

Terrena Apartments have a great location in Northridge. Walking distance to the mall, Starbucks and restaurants. Beautiful grounds with a great pet area. One of the few apartment complexes that have fruit trees and herbs growing on the premises for all the residents. A restaurant will be opening soon in the commercial space attached to the complex. Well maintained and friendly staff in the office makes this an ideal place to live.

When I moved in over a year ago I was amazed with the beauty of the complex and the range of amenities offered. Over a year later I still am amazed and enjoy walking around the grounds with my dog. The staff at times can be inexperienced and cause frustration, but they are trying and you can tell that by the effort they display. If I had to speak ill of this place I would state that they need to address smoking. The complex is supposed to be smoke-free, but the residents here appear to take that more as a challenge. Due to this at times there are issues with fire alarms at odd hours in the night. Has gotten better with time, but could also be due to school being out for summer.

We do take all smoking violations and complaints very seriously, and smoking violations have led t o hefty fines and evictions. We encourage all residents to report any smoking violations to the office during regular business hours or to our courtesy patrol after-hours so that we can address the issue. Fortunately, when we posted signs in February warning of the severity of legal consequences if caught activating a false alarm, we have not had another activation of a false alarm during quiet hours.
