Terrace Greene Apartments is truly a great place to live. The leasing staff and maintenance team are absolutely wonderful—always friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to taking care of the residents. The community grounds are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and welcoming environment. One thing that really stands out is how engaged the community is. Terrace Greene hosts at least two resident events each month, which is a great way to meet neighbors and feel more connected. Terrace Greene apartments is a wonderful place to live. I’m a current resident and I feel safe everyone watches out for each other. The homes are spacious. This place has something for everyone. I would give it a 10 out of 10 all the way down to the bubbly office staff and maintenance crew that works so hard to keep this place beautiful and running smooth!

We have been residents here at Terrsce Greene for going on 6 years and have truly enjoyed being here! The staff is always great if you have any issues they are super fast and reliable! They are also super friendly and w love that they offer games and prizes too! Summer is great having two pools to enjoy, too! We love to sit out in our deck and watch everyone with the pups! We love dogs so it’s so fun seeing all the different breeds that are allowed here! The dog park is also great! We don’t use it often but I love seeing all of the playful pups daily! They also offer social gatherings often and do games, food and drink for all residents as well!! If you’re looking for a great place, that is close to literally everything this is it! That is also a huge bonus is location! They staff has always been top notch and will make sure your taken care of asap!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Grounds are well kept. It is a peaceful and quiet community. There are many activities centered around the Holidays that ate fun and family oriented.

I had the chance to tour this community recently with my family, and we were really impressed by how well-kept and beautiful the whole place was. Our lease doesn’t end for a few more months, but this spot is definitely at the top of our list when we’re ready to move. The staff member who showed us around was extremely kind and informative, she took the time to answer all of our questions and made the whole experience feel very welcoming. I’d absolutely recommend stopping by for a tour if you’re looking for a new place!

I recently moved in with my daughter, and I have to say this is the best place I have lived. The community is very welcoming and the leasing office has been available to me 100% of the time even after I moved in. It’s quiet and very welcoming. The neighborhood is always clean and it feels like I’m home for the first time in a long time. I recommend 100%.

Pros: • There are two pools and two gyms for residents to use. • Community areas are nice with coffee machines. • Sufficient parking spaces are available. • Residents generally abide by quiet hours (however you'll have people in load vehicles that try to wake everyone up around 7am). Cons: • Rent increases at a rate higher than average annual increase in salary (on average ~7% increase in rent every year). •Public computers aren't maintained so are extremely slow if you need them for anything. • Some units have no overhead lighting provided. Be prepared to bring lamps or buy your own overhead light and have them install it.

I love living at Terrace Green apt homes. Not only are the grounds beautiful and well kept. It’s peaceful, I’ve have met many friendly people even my dog has made friends at the nice dog park. Staff is very friendly and caring, they have special events to bring people together. A very safe environment. I would highly recommend Terrace Green.

We recently moved into Terrace Greene Apartments and it’s an amazing place to live! The staff is super welcoming and made us feel right at home. There are two very nice pools and gyms which is a plus. There are community areas perfect for hanging out, and there are a couple of spots for dogs to play! & their community is growing with tons of new larger townhomes perfect for families. McKinley gave us an amazing tour and was really knowledgeable about everything. If you’re looking for a fun and friendly place to live, Terrace Greene is the way to go!!

Very nice community! The apartment staff is very friendly and our dog loves the dog park. I have lived in many different apartments before, and this has been the best experience. The location is nice too; it is close to C-Ville but still quiet at night.

Summary?: Best place I've lived in several years, hands down Long version: I've moved around a lot since leaving college, almost a new apartment complex a year. Leaving because of pricing, or maintenance, or just other situations.. Finally moved to Terrace Greene right before the pandemic, and was there for many years. Heck, the only reason I left is because my partner got a new job- or I would have gladly stayed even longer. The staff is wonderful, always ready to lend a hand, and reach out- the maintenance team is wonderful and always kind and always waving. Everyone notices how you're doing and the community events are always wonderful. Leaving here was a really sad day for me, but I would gladly come back if life takes me that way. I love living at Terrace Greene Apartments. The staff treat the residents so well, from taking care of work orders promptly, to hosting events for us and keeping the community looking it's best year round. I enjoy that I have the ability to choose from two pools, two gyms and two community spaces. My dogs love going to the bark park and enjoying a stroll around the community. I cannot say enough about Terrace Greene. I LOVE IT HERE!!!!

Terrace Greene Apartments has been our home for the last three years. We have absolutely enjoyed it here. The community is friendly and inviting, and the staff is top-notch. When we moved, the office staff couldn't do enough for us. The maintenance crew goes above and beyond as well! They are always prompt when fixing stuff and ensuring everything is good before leaving. The grounds are always kept up and clean. As military personnel, we have lived in many rentals over the years, and this, by far, has been the best one yet! They have two pools, which are great during the hot summer months. They also have a couple of workout areas and some gathering places, which are great if you want to get out of your house for a little while but don't want to leave the property. If you will be working at NGIC, I suggest checking this place out. It is affordable and a very safe feeling.

Living at Terrace Greene Apartments has been such a pleasant experience. Community is nice and quiet and staff are very easy going. This is my forever home.

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. 1. The walls are so thin I can hear my neighbors doing everything 2. I can hear every time my neighbors flush their toilet and take a shower. Sounds like I have the water running it’s so loud 3. The bedrooms and living room do NOT come with lights. You have to purchase them yourself and pay them to install and uninstall them. The answer I was told is “people have different styles”. Well with that logic I should be able to pick all the lights and finishes. 4. Don’t come home late or you won’t be able to find any parking. You could pay $75 a month for the parking garage but half the time the sensor doesn’t recognize your parking pass to lift the arm up. 5. Can’t use my outdoor space because they didn’t design the drain properly so it’s completely soaked every time it rains, which is a lot here. 6. Depending on which way you’re going you have to go up the street to make a U turn to get back to the apartment, but with so much traffic it can be hard to get out. 7. It smells like marijuana constantly in certain parts of the apartment complex. 8. If you can live on the top floor do that so you don’t have to hear your upstairs neighbors stomping around constantly. I know people say hearing your neighbors is apart of apartment living but the magnitude of noise is not something that should be acceptable for “luxury” apartments and a newer building.

I would like to take the time and thank Ashly & Candy for being such uh-mazing people. They are absolutely the sweetest staff. The apartments and townhouses are beautiful. We lived in a one bed townhouse, but upgraded to a 2bed, 2.5 bath apt. We absolutely love our new space, and the kitchen is WOW! The staff all in general are amazing. Even the maintenance team. To the friendly hand waves, to the friendly smiles on the grounds.

I am a resident of Terrace Greene Apartments in Barboursville, VA since December of 2021. I have lived in many apartments complexes over the years, and Terrace Greene is by far the best managed. Terrace Greene is so well kept and both the Leasing and Maintenance Staff are pleasant and most helpful. Problems that arise are handled right away and that is a rarity in many complexes. Since I have worked in property management myself, I am well aware of the huge responsibility it is, in not only managing the complex, but having the cooperation of all the residents. The Property Manager, Leasing Staff and Maintenance Staff all take pride in managing and caring for this property. Terrace Greene has many amenities to partake in if you so desire. I am a happy resident and feel very fortunate to be living at Terrace Greene.

Since downsizing, I could not have imagined a better and more complete place to live. All the staff are delightful and professional. They handle any situation or questions I may have in a timely manner. They have great celebrations and giveaways for the residents throughtout the year. I could not ask for a better place to live at this stage of life.

I love Terrace Greene so much that I moved back for the second time! The office staff is wonderful and very responsive and the maintenance crew is always on top of making sure we are well taken care of!

I absolutely love living in Terrace Greene. Everyone who works here is extremely professional and welcoming. Maintenance is always on top of whatever you need as a single woman living on her own. I feel extremely safe here and do not plan on leaving anytime soon.

I moved into a townhome around January of 2023 and so far it’s been amazing! The community is very clean and anything you need will be done promptly! All of the staff is very helpful and very respectful! It’s a wonderful place to live!

Terrace Greene is a great community to live in. Lots of great people and amenities. I enjoyed all the activities and appreciation for the residents that they show. However, the leasing office is always looking for ways to get you to pay more money, especially when moving out. The leasing office requires VERY particular requirements for cleaning the apartment when you move out, bordering on ridiculous even and what the average person would consider reasonable. Then, even if you clean the apartment as specified they will still try to find a way to charge you for something you "didn't clean".

On my 3rd lease and couldn’t have been any happier with my living choice for the last few years. Terrace Greene staff is always available for you and truly loves their residents. They are always doing little things to show their appreciation. They do breakfast on the go (even on cold mornings) they do events such as pool parties, movie nights and taco Tuesday’s. They also leave little birthday gifts at your door on your birthday. All of that is included. Maintenance is always helpful and available in appropriate time. Affordable rent and fairly updated apartments with newer luxurious apartments. I live in a townhouse and have no complaints of hearing my neighbors as a few reviews say. The front door swings shut if you don’t help it and that may cause noise and a bang but that’s something that can be controlled. Traffic can be a drag at certain times but that’s not the apartments fault. Definitely worth it vs living in charlottesville with higher rent and smaller apartments

I lived here for a while and the apartments were safe and very clean. However, the walls are pretty thin so if that bothers you then you should take that into consideration. You will be able to hear your neighbors, outside noise and walking. They will say it's "apartment living' but it is not; especially from "luxury" apartments. The office staff is good at hosting events and being available to assist where they can. Traffic going to the apartments to Charlottesville is awful. It takes 30-40 minutes to go 12 or 14 miles. Having to U-turn from the apartment complex to leave and get in is also annoying. For the price it isn't a bad place to live, but different things bother different people so I would take all things into consideration.

If you like to hear your neighbors then by all means rent here. The staff if ok and the apartments are nice on the outside but the walls are paper thin. I can hear my neighbors talking, shutting doors etc. It feels like you have a constant roommate. There are better options out there that may be closer to town if that’s what you are looking for.

I love living at TG there staff is awesome, friendly and always ready to help It is the quitest place I have ever lived. I have lived here several yrs and just renewed my lease again. The location is great, close to shopping, restaurants and the local airport.

The staff here are amazing! They go out of their way to make you feel like part of a community and they have something going on at least once a month. Throughout the school year they are out at the bus stop either in the morning or in the afternoon handing out treats to the kids. They offer wine and paint nights for the adults, many holiday parties and just because parties. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they don't have any 3 bedrooms and that was the reason we left, we just needed a little more room. And they are very military friendly which was a plus for us.

I have lived here for 3 years now and have no intention on moving! This place has felt like home since day 1. The entire staff (Stacy, Brittney, Rebekah, Dave, and Lee) is the best staff any tenant can ask for! They are always up for a conversation and keep this place looking amazing!

Our townhome/apartment community is luxury living in a country setting. The outdoor pool is maintained year round. The common areas are clean, spacious, and fairly quiet. The gym is well equipped with treadmills, elliptical machines, weights, and a play area for "tiny mights". The amount paid in rent is well worth it for the amenities and minutes to quality shopping. Living here is like being on vacation everyday of the week.
