Swiss Village Apartments

After retirement I am leaving Swiss Village Apts. I wasvery happy with them. Staff was friendly. Neighbors were friendly and polite. Locationright off of Erie Blvd was very convenient.

Do not even waist your time applying here !!! I’ve been calling the office for over 2 months now stopped by the office for months and nobody’s ever there I haven’t been able to get in contact with the landlord for over 3 months now ! I haven’t had electricity in my kitchen for 2 months!! My bathroom walls have water bubbles from the walls leaking!! 2 months later and I still haven’t gotten in contact with no landlord! Walls still look the same and still no electricity in my kitchen!!! They have roaches!!! It’s so bad you see them in the halls leaving your apartment! They send an exterminator who doesn’t do NOTHING REAL! And then they fake check up on the problem to make it seem like they’re doing their job! My AC been leaking since I moved in and when I brought it to my landlord attention when I first moved in she told me just don’t turn it !! This has been the worst experience for me EVER I do not recommend!!!!

The lady that help me through my application was very nice and helpful.

I have lived here almost 3 years. Jill made leasing my first apartment easy and fun. They put in brand new appliances and carpeting for my unit. The building and grounds are very clean, and they do a great job plowing in the winter time. Any time I have ever had a maintenance issue, someone was there immediately to address the problem. Thank you Swiss Village, 5/5 stars!

I am a Master's student from out of state who was in desperate need of a safe, quiet, well priced, and accommodating apartment and I am so happy to have found Swiss Village! I have been living here for over a year and a half now and it has been more than pleasant. Michele and Jill are absolutely fantastic to work with and have helped made my stay here quite enjoyable. Besides being professional and considerate, they welcomed me with open arms and even went the extra mile to reassure my parents that I would be in great hands, and so far I haven't been disappointed once. When I had my first initial tour of my apartment it was handed over to me in such excellent quality and remodeled to make it even that much more enjoyable to live in. The location is incredibly convenient, allowing runs to the grocery store and especially school a breeze. I haven't had any issues with maintenance at all and the neighbors are respectful and generally quiet. Safety was my main concern when looking for a place in Syracuse and this property has made me feel more than protected. If there is anything that needed extensive repair, like the parking lots or plumbing, it was done so with an advanced notice and completed within a timely manner. Snow removal is done basically before I am out the door in the mornings and garbage pickup is always quick. Sure, the laundry units may be small, keeping in mind that things will naturally break every now and then, but it's never anything for me to be unhappy about. Considering the mass amount of clothes I have to wash and the convenience of this location, I am literally less than a minute away from a nice laundromat, so I have no complaints about laundry. My apartment is spacious, comfortable, with many windows allowing an abundance of sunshine in, making it that much cozier. I am beyond pleased with Swiss Village, and at such a reasonable price, you receive more than enough. I highly recommend these apartments, especially to students. ~I can't thank Michele and Jill enough!

Property management is very good! Great staff whom are devoted to their job and always there to assist tenants with any concerns.

Resident for 5 years. Great school district and community to raise children. Centrally located to grocery stores, restaurants, and much more. Michelle and Jill are awesome and always ready to help with all your needs. Maintenance crew and the grounds keepers all add razzle dazzle to the upkeep of this beautiful property. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

I lived here for just about 5 years, and I never had any problems. The few minor things that needed some attention, I called the office, and they were on it right away. I moved in while they were under different management, and they were fine, but ever since the new owners took over, it was noticeably better. Michele and Jill aren't on top of everything, and always very friendly with ever matter. Jill especially is a wonderful person to talk to, and honestly makes me wish they owned the new property I moved to. (Had to get a bigger space with the girlfriend) Walking distance to Cliffs, The Distillery, the Laundry Mat, and 690 access right down the hill. Best place I have ever lived.

The pricing is affordable when looking for your first apartment. The area is clean and safe for children. The rooms have decent space based off your needs 1 or 2 bdrm. Staff is nice and if anything needs fixing maintenance will always be ready. Great start for finding a home

I have been a resident of Swiss Village Apartments for over ten years and highly recommend the complex. Management is responsive and accommodating, and the maintenance staff does an excellent job keeping the common areas clean and the grounds mowed and plowed. There is great diversity among the tenants - from young singles and families to retirees. The apartments themselves are both simple and comfortable with a lot of closets, storage areas and natural lighting. The location of Swiss Village is great; it is easily accessible from the highways and main streets, bus lines, and close to many businesses either by car or by walking.

Swiss Village is centrally located near local schools and colleges. Great access to highways, local resturants, and shopping centers. The property and units are well cared for and there is an open and friendly neighborhood community. Both the office and maintenance staff are friendly and responsive. Overall a great place to live!

My husband and I have lived at Swiss Village for 5 years now. We absolutely love the location. It located in the center of everything. It's easy to go grocery shopping, grab a bite to eat, and workout at the gym. Since we have been here, the maintenance staff has changed a lot, but they do get the job done. Michelle is AMAZINGGGG!! Her and Jill are very professional and extremely accommodating.

I’ve lived here for a year and was surprised by the professionalism and quality at swiss village. When I needed something urgent from them but was not necessarily their responsibility, they went out of their way to get it to me immediately. I would definitely recommend this place.

Myself and a co-worker transferred to Syracuse and rented from Swiss Village for over a year and a half before returning back to our hometowns. Jill made our transition into the apartments very smooth. The apartment was neat and clean, and the area was safe and secure. In addition the apartments are located just off the main thoroughfare conveniently located by several dining/shopping/service facilities. Our commute to work was also roughly ten to fifteen minutes. I have been living at Swiss Village for almost 3 years. The apartments are conveniently located close to highways and the downtown area. Jill and Michele have been great at addressing any issues or concerns I've had. The maintenance staff is friendly and professional and work orders are resolved quickly. I like that the property is kept clean which allows me to enjoy time outside. Overall I've been really happy living here and would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a place in this area!

I have been living here for one and a half years. My 2-bedroom apartment was spacious and the location was very convenient to access many stores and highways. Also, all staffs are very friendly and my work orders were taken care of quickly. As many people said, only downside is the laundry room. But the colonial Laundromat is very close to the apartment.

The individual units are very nice and spacious. However, do not expect working laundry facility, a pool, or a safe place for mail to come. I’ve had packages misdelivered and stolen. My neighbor had his storage unit broken into. A previous neighbor creeped on tenants and tried to force his way into one of the units

My boyfriend and I recently moved into the Alps apartments at Swiss village about 2 months ago. The location of the apartments is perfect for us. The Apls is the perfect size of apartments and there’s so much closet space! The only downside is the laundry here, I would recommend finding somewhere else to do your laundry. There is a colonial laundromat right next the apartments. I would recommend Swiss village to anyone who is looking to move in the area. So far we are enjoying living here.

For the last three months there has been no working laundry in our building. The office has refused a small rent reduction for inconvenience. The power has been on and off the last week. The office only provides excuses and not any solutions. We are moving out as soon as the lease ends. Outside of maintenance problems, the space is very nice and the staff were usually helpful.

This is worst place to live. I have moved here for last 6 months and lots of things are broken. When complained to property office the lady is very unprofessional and disrespectful. She is litterally horrible. She has attitude like don’t complain about anything not working. People dont complains in 2-3 years so you dont have to complain but live here. The lady is worst ever i have seen. I will not give even 1 star this place n will move when lease ended. Just came to know from neighbor that they had same issues with her. They have many Appartments empty due to un professionalism and giving 200$ to someone who refers.

My husband and I moved into Swiss Village about six months ago and have had a positive experience here. While our apartment is not without its imperfections, it is spacious with modern decor and appliances. The rent is reasonable and the location is great with lots of grocery stores, restaurants, hairdressers etc. nearby. As for the staff, Jill made the process of moving in a breeze. She is friendly, approachable, and receptive to questions!

I am fairly new to this community but so far I have had a pleasant experience. Jill was wonderful to me and was extremely helpful finding exactly what kind of apartment fit my needs and budget. Everyone has been extremely friendly and I feel very comfortable and safe here! the apartment itself is beautiful; simple but yet very quaint and the perfect size. My favorite part is all of the closet space, there is more closet storage than I could have asked for and it is just wonderful!

My family moved into the Swiss Village Apartments from Long Island last summer and we are very happy we are here! Our apartment is very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I had a minor maintenance issue and they were very prompt in addressing it. The grounds are so nice. There is a lot of property so we are able to spend time outside. All of our neighbors are so nice and we rarely ever hear them. I would truly recommend these apartments. We're so happy to be here and call the Swiss village apartments home.

Now that it is under different management, I can honestly say...WOW what a difference! Jill and Christine are very attentive with great dispositions! That is extremely important! If there is an issue, they are on it immediately! I am currently waiting for a larger apartment but the turnover is very low! People that move in, stay! That says a lot! As tenants move out they are totally remodeling the apartments! They are beautiful! It is a safe environment for my daughter . If you have children, Swiss Village is located in the best school district! Everything you could possibly want is within WALKING distance! You won't be disappointed!!

I moved into Swiss Village December, of 2016. My very first apartment! Jill welcomed me with open arms, with helping through the entire process. She helped find the perfect floor plan for me and at a Great Price! Swiss Village has been nothing but paradise for me. The location is great, and neighbors are awesome as well! Peaceful area very spacious apartments nice tenants college students heat and hot water included swimming pool

The apartments are very clean and well priced. We live on the bottom floor and have dealt with some problems with flooding but, the office was quick to get us out of the apartment and give us a refund. The maintenance people are very friendly and are quick to respond. The worse thing about the place is noisy neighbors. Over all a decent place to live!!
