As I approach two years of living here, I just wanted to say how much I’ve genuinely enjoyed it. It’s been peaceful, safe, and truly feels like home. I appreciate all the work that goes into keeping things running smoothly around here. The amenities have really added to the experience, and the activities and events you all put together for the residents do not go unnoticed. Our community is quiet for the most part and hosts fun activities that encourages residents to participate in. Wish we could have a few more rather than just on Holidays. Staff is professional and genuinely cares about our opinions. Love the new improvements since Greystar took over.

Moved in over a year ago when maintenance was friendly and actually arrived to fix things, the hallways were cleaned weekly and neighbors didn't allow dogs to urinate and defecate in the elevators/hallways/stairwells. Now we have new management that is incompetent, slow to respond, unless they're being rude, endless electronic issues with security locks to front door, key fob issues, broken security gates (which they always seem to blame on "internet issues"), and neighbors that forget they live in a close community with others. Just counting down the weeks until move out day.

Sur is a beautiful complex! Living here is great! Conveniently located to great shopping & food! The neighborhood is great to walk around & is off the beaten path enough to offer a secluded and comfortable place to live. The staff is all very friendly & responsive. The amenities are fabulous!! This complex is beautiful, but our apartment has had issue after issue. We've had 5 lightbulbs burn out within 3 months, and when we called to get them replaced we were told they're unique lightbulbs and need to be ordered. We have yet to hear anything back, and this was a month ago. Our balcony door handle when we first moved in, but it's broken off for the second time. The closet rack even fell out of the wall and down onto us when we were moving things in. (Not to mention our move in hiccup when we were told our apartment wasn't ready the day of our move in day). The office rarely answers calls, I have to call multiple times throughout the day just to get through to someone. My emails are NEVER answered, but I know they're received because when I go to the office they say something along the lines of "Yeah we've seen your emails about this!" (It had been a month without an answer for my question). The only time the little to no communication got addressed was when I submitted a complaint through the Greystar website. Our current issue is our A/C has been out since Sunday afternoon. They claim to offer emergency maintenance, but when I called about our 4th night without air, I was told he will stop by in the morning (very clear he wasn't going to come service our unit after hours despite it being over 80 degrees and humid outside).

I lived at SUR Lake Buena Vista for a year and that was a year too long. They went through 4 management changes in under a year. The people in the office were never friendly. The walls are paper thin. There is no place to walk your dog. It’s all landscaping with bushes and very little grass. There is one small gated area to let your dog off leash, but it’s so small only a couple dogs could be in there, especially if they are large, excitable or aggressive. Their maintenance team was super nice and stayed the same. There is the only positive. The move out process was awful. No communication. I’ve been gone for two months and still can’t get my deposit because of a “new system” with yet another new management company. I could go on and on with all the issues. But bottom line, there are better more affordable properties in Orlando.

Amenities: The amenities here are nothing short of exceptional. From the well-equipped fitness center to the sparkling swimming pool, every aspect of this complex is designed to enhance residents' lifestyles. The communal areas are meticulously maintained, creating inviting spaces for socializing or simply unwinding after a long day. They keep the hallways, pool, gym, clubhouse very well neat and maintained. Apartment Features: My apartment itself is a sanctuary of modern comfort. The layout is thoughtfully designed, maximizing space and functionality. High-quality appliances and fixtures elevate the living experience, while the attention to detail in the finishes reflects a commitment to excellence. The balcony is great and has screen protection. Very spacious. Community Atmosphere: The community here seem nice so far. No complaints so far. Quiet so far, no loud music or noise complaints. Great community if you have pets too. Management: The management team deserves special commendation for their professionalism and responsiveness. Any maintenance issues are promptly addressed, and inquiries are handled with efficiency and care. Trash gets picked up daily, and dumpster area gets cleaned out all the time. It's evident that they genuinely value the happiness and well-being of their residents. Awful. Been here little over a year. They gave us wrong mail key twice and didn’t understand how, I had access to other residents mail, not ok. You can’t back in park. They tow you and don’t tell you and your car sits towed and keeps going up in money to get out. They give wrong phone numbers in emails for the emergency maintenance line. They didn’t send us the 60 to either stay or leave letter I emailed them a week ago, never replied. They switched companies, again, and were not ready and it’s all a mess, bring a check to the front to pay but first go down and find out how much you even owe cause the portal isn’t up. They are incompetent. Ask any other complex around, they know the reputation of Sur.

I have lived here for a little over a year now. This place is horrible! the management company keeps changing and now we are on our third company. The latest doesn't care about the residents here. You have absolutely zero rules here, people leave trash in the hallways for days, people park wherever they choose so ev parking is a premium, absolutely any breed of dog is welcome, a huge homeless camp is walking distance away and the gates are wide open and only worked for a shorr time since being here, there is plenty of apartment options in this area so do your research.
