I lived here before and they show you a model unit like the pics but your actual unit is not the same..They need to be ashamed of themselves for falsifying these pics..Dirty hallways, noisy neighbors, cabinets were horrible couldn’t even put my dishes in them and the laundry facilities were all busted! They charge u late fees on rent put into the deposit box like why if that’s and option. Only thing I can speak on that was good was parking!

its pretty cool here. Only issue i have is when they randomly shut off the water and it be off ALL DAY. Theyll turn it off at 8am and tell u its only off for 2-3 hours.. The water will be off till 4 or 5pm smh I had to call off work a couple times because i couldnt take my shower for work cuz they shut my water off on a random wednesday smh but other than that, its cool here

The staff is very friendly. They also get out packages for us. They make sure we get what we need to live comfortably here. I just wish my unit was updated. I been here 8 years. But other than that I’ve been happy.

It's okay if you don't have great credit. A lot of people that live in community are careless and leave garbage all over. The people in the office try to be helpful but I don't think the people above them communicate very well. As I type this I have absolutely no running water for the first time this year but I'm sure it won't be the last. They shut it off at least every other month and it seems like they're never done working on the pipes.

I submitted my move in condition form when I first moved in 11/3/23 and the issues listed have yet to be fixed. I didn’t have a stove that worked properly until thanksgiving day. I’m missing outlet covers in my living room as well as one of the bedrooms which is a safety hazard. The drawers in my kitchen are off track. The sinks in the bathroom don’t drain properly. One of the toilets constantly draining because the handle is broken. I have to put my thermostat on 90 just for my house to reach 70 degrees smh. All of these issues and maintenance/the office refuses to address any of them. Yet if I’m late 1 day on rent there’s a notice on my door. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone as of right now. Do better!

I love it here ..I’ll never move. My kids love it here as well. It’s very nice area and it’s quiet so far. Maintenance is quick with their responses as well.

My husband and I love it here. It is a quiet community and the people I have met are very nice. Great customer service, also. There are programs for the residents each month for all ages.

Maintenance is still trashing the drive in entrance area of bldg 15. O Scrapes on the walls, the heaters, the doors, and handles are constantly getting worse. This is the place that we call home. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't like it at their homes.

When putting in work orders I never had any problem with maintenance and they do a follow up with an email or call. Since living in the community I have seen lots of improvement as well as receiving packages and making sure the right person get them also asking for identification before their issue out.

We have been at sunset lake apartments for a while now and haven’t had any issues. Our hallways were redone as well as some parts of the building.

I would have liked to have a better experience with this facility. The flooring and sound barriers are disappointing to say the least. There should be more visitor parking available and more trash cans to prevent the parking areas from looking disgusting.

It has been a nice experience being in this apartment complex right now but there are a few problems with the living arrangement. The general lack of care and response time has been concerning with issues and repairs take a long time to be resolved as well. Outside of that, it has been a great living space!

Did not get the apartment I wanted or the space. I saw a rodent which surprised and worried me. I also express some safety concerns based off my location. The community seems fine thus far I guess. The neighbors hold doors open and speak sometimes.

Very comfortable here. I'm 86 years old and living here with family is a BLESSING FROM GOD. My friends are long gone but I am able to meet new ones here and I have. My neighbors are nice too. Very respectful and I appreciate that. I love looking at the lake, and seeing the ducks and squirrels. They keep our surroundings clean and the people keep their dogs leashed, which is good because I can't run. So far everything is nice. I pray that it stays that way.

Sunset lake has been extremely thoughtful and attentive to our needs. The maintenace team is fabulous, handling any problem very promptly and kindly. They are real wizards. And the staff is very human, nice, understanding and compassionate. They are really spacious on the inside and have nice balcony. Whenever we've had any issues they've been more than willing to discuss them and to find a good solution. They are also GREAT about allowing pets. I would highly recommend renting from sunset and I can assure you, I am a real resident here.

The apartment is ok, needs much improvement. Needs new stuff like kitchen cabinets and closets new kitchen and bathroom gadgets. Needs new carpet. My carpet was very dirty when I moved in, I had to hire people to clean for me , kitchen and bathroom was dirty, it’s like they never cleaned after the previous tenants.

This is a great location. Very clean excellent staff. Nice little area to walk around and exercise by the Lake. And I love the emails daily for events at the hub. Talk about giving back to the community. Excellent job keep up the good work guys.

Have an issue with my mail never being delivered and still never got the things looked at in my apartment that I told them about when I first moved in. But aside from that everything else is cool. It’s pretty quiet and clean for the most part.

We just moved here in October. The complex has exceeded our expectations. Maintenance is quick and efficient. The property managers are quick to respond. The common areas and the property itself are clean!! We love that we decided to come here. It has been a welcome change.

SunsetLake is a wonderful place to live friendly staff wonderful maintenance crew some nice neighbors only draw back is very thin walls.SunsetLake is affordable close to major expressways walkable to some stores and restaurants spacious closet space a really nice lake in back SunsetLake will be my home for awhile.

The only thing I don’t like is the fact that the residents leave trash in the hallway and I don’t know when the hallways are cleaned or how often.

My residents experience have been so welcoming. Best decision I made. I have a little 4 year old at home that be so happy she jumps and skip like a tipikle 4 year old but my neighbor downstairs doesn't approve. She wrote me a letter on my first day moving in. Other then that I really enjoy and feel very comfortable.

Maintenance is great and have good respond time. It’s responsible office hours and they try to respond to all calls and voicemails. Safe package delivery to the office. Good resident assistance.

It’s been very nice so far. The apartment is very spacious and clean. Love the spacious rooms. Bathroom is nice also. Kitchen is appliance are amazing and ready to use. I also love all the storage space you have within the apartment.

No one follows any of the rules here. Dogs constantly let out with out leashes. My dog was approached by and unleashed dog while son took him out they got into a fight. When reported they told me to keep an eye out and try to find out what building and what unit they live in. Was told well we send out emails about the pet guidelines. Which is not my responsibility. Buildings and hallways constantly smell and reek of marijuana and cigarettes. People fly through the parking lots like they are in nascar.

Been here since January and absolutely love it here. My kids love the homebase after school program they have. They are doing alot of updates which are nice to see.

There’s still a lot of improvements needed at this apartment complex. Went up on rent again but no updates in the apartments. Even the hallways look like we live in the projects. Holes in the ceiling from unfinished maintenance work, different color paint patches on the walls and the floors are just nasty.

The apartment get hot. The maintenance needs a bit more work but over all the apartment is very cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and friendly

I say 3 so far because there is always a water shut off in our bldg. The water flow is terrible at times. Hopefully it changes or get fixed soon.
