Incorporated in 1835, Talladega is a historic small town located on the cusp of Talladega National Forest. Talladega’s status as a century-old railroad hub, ornate antebellum homes, and classic buildings on the HBCU Talladega College campus contribute to a sense of old-world charm that permeates the city.
Home to the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind, Talladega boasts unique accommodations like audible crosswalk signals and specially designed sidewalks for the visually impaired.
