I renewed my lease in June and in 6 years they've never charged me for electric, as I pay that with Ameren on a seperate bill. Well NOW, they started charging me and in the last 3 months they've charged me 220 bucks extra and they still won't do anything. Anytime I go in there they just go "oh we're handling it" and they really aren't. They've now been dodging my calls and emails. Also, it took them over 2 years to fix a door handle, which is ridiculous. Also, they installed new driers, of course mine doesn't work, and they take yet another month or so to fix this. It's going downhill and people please stay clear of this.

I was sent a lease renewal and was given a timeline till 4/24/23 till either accept or deny it. When I went to renew though the prices were all changed and the rate increases more than doubled. They were recently bought out by a hedge fund so I assume that is where the change came from.

Maintenance is horrible. I feel like the new owners do not care. You pay too much for nothing to be taken care of. They are nice on the surface but that's it. The office staff is nice. I would not recommend this place. I know serval people who are moving before their contract is up and paying the fine because they are fed up. We will not be renewing.

Maintenance is getting a lot better at responding and actually fixing issues. I love the neighborhood. Every on is nice. I just had spinal surgery and the day I got home my neighbor asked how I was and said if I needed help I could ask.

For the most part its a good place to live. The only bad things is the maintenance. Just be prepared to either so every thing yourself or never have it done. Otherwise, I love the quite! The Neighbors are nice, my dog has other dogs he is friends with!

Maintenance is a complete nightmare to get anything done. If you send in a maintenance ticket you must do it online instead of calling because they don't answer the phone half the time. You will be notified about 1 month later via email marking your ticket as complete even though nothing has been taken care of. They're understaffed and don't complete anything in a timely fashion. They will walk into your apartment for maintenance at any time even if you request them not to do so. I've even had someone try to change my door locks thinking it was for my apartment when someone else had requested it for theirs.

I moved to Missouri from Pittsburgh, PA and I was very nervous about this huge transition in my life. The virtual tour of the apartment was extremely helpful and it really does look like the apartment in real life. This made the process of choosing an apartment we couldn't physically tour much less scary. The leasing staff was very helpful and pleasant to work with, they were very comforting to talk to while we were going through a hard time with the moving process of leaving my hometown. I'm so happy I decided to try this place, its only been two weeks and it already feels like home!

Great community to live in. Apartments have everything you need specially if you are a dog owner. Very quiet environment with amazing customer service.

HORRIBLE! For the money this place charges each month versus the condition of the apartments and complex, I strongly suggest renting elsewhere. Don't waste your money here!!

Sun River Valley Apartments has become a great community for me. The neighbors are all friendly and the staff handles maintenance issues very quickly as to not interrupt normal everyday life. The location is extremely convenient and is located close to all major highways and shopping centers. I would highly recommend this location for any family looking to get away from the bustling city scene.

We have been living in our home located in the Sun River community for 6 months on the 3rd of January 2021. I have not lived in an apartment setting since my early twenties. Now, that my wife and i were successful in getting our children into the world and beginning their own families, we have started our life alone and couldn't have been luckier to begin that new life here at Sun River. We moved here because this is the area of the world that I was brought into at birth. We as a family have spent the previous 40 plus years where my wife comes from in northern California. I feel like Missouri has welcomed us with open arms. Looking forward to continuing this experience with Sun River. They have taken care to take care of not just our needs but our wants. With the further amenities such as the pools and exercise rooms and everyone working together during these difficult times concerning the scheduling of these activities. I would recommend anyone to check into Sun River before making their final decision of where to move to.
