By far one of the prettiest college towns in the country, Bowling Green offers a picture-perfect downtown, complete with beautiful historic architecture, brick-paved walkways, planters filled with colorful flowers, period lighting, the prerequisite art-deco movie theater, and even a lively mural or two. Bowling Green is home to Bowling Green State University, one of the country's top-ranking universities. It is located about 22 miles south of Toledo and about two hours west of Cleveland.
The city's parks include the Black Swamp Preserve, a park that reflects the city's beginnings as part of the Great Black Swamp that once covered much of Northwestern Ohio. Wintergarden Woods, another terrific park, offers hiking, wildlife viewing, and a nature center. During winter, Conneaut Haskins Park is popular for its sledding hill, one of the largest in the city.
First settled in 1832, Bowling Green began as a small farming community.

Hello Thank you for the wonderful review and for taking the time to share your feedback with Summit Terrace. Our priority is customer service and we are ecstatic that we met that mark!
I have lived at Summit Terrace in a one-bedroom for three years, and have been extremely satisfied with my experience. The staff are friendly, and have always responded quickly to my requests for maintenance assistance. They happily replaced my refrigerator after issues with the freezer keeping it cold. I've also enjoyed the pool - it is well-kept, and open from around Memorial Day through Labor Day. The laundry room is generally clean, and I've never had a problem with machine availability. Currently, at $1.25 per load the cost proves manageable. I wish the laundry room were open 24/7, but have certainly been able to work with the 8am-10pm hours. You can walk to downtown in about 10 minutes, and BGSU is a 20-25-minute walk, a c. 10-minute bike ride, or 5-minute drive away. Summit Terrace also offers a shuttle service to campus and possibly a few other locations??, which I have not used extensively but would certainly be a plus for those without a car. Mostly students, young families, and some retired folks live here. The atmosphere is generally quiet and friendly, which I have appreciated! Feels safe, my apartment is quite spacious, and rent is reasonable for the quality of living. I would definitely recommend Summit Terrace as an ideal BG apartment complex!
This apartment complex is the best I have ever lived in. The staff are all very caring and helpful. They make sure the complex is a safe and friendly place to live. The complex as a whole is very quiet. I have never felt safer in an apartment by myself as a single woman. The staff will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need no matter what.
