Summit on Woodman

John has been a great manager at Summit on Woodman. Anytime there’s an issue or request, it’s taken care of promptly and professionally. He’s always communicative, helpful, and goes out of his way to make sure things are handled. Definitely appreciate the way he manages the property—it makes a big difference.

I have lived all over Los Angeles, but my time at Summit has easily been one of the best. For starters, everything was nice and clean from the moment we first stepped foot into the building. I also love that every maintenance issue I've had since moving in has been attended to that same day and fixed within a week. It's a long shot from the last place I lived where I had to move out for weeks at a time because issues took so long to solve. Special shout out to the manager, John, he's been a delight and extremely helpful throughout my family's time here.

I'm glad I made the decision to sign my lease here. John is our manager here at Summit on Woodman and honestly he was one of the reasons why we felt like we'd be taken care of here. On my initial tour he would say hello to the tenants and they would know him by name. My last apartment was managed by a large team of people and it was not personable. John works hard to keep this place efficient and clean and updated. The laundry (washer and dryer) in each unit was also the main reason for my choice to lease. Cannot find that at this price range in a newer build like this.

I have lived here for almost 3 years now and haven't had any complaints. The facilities are well-maintained and the staff members (especially John) are really friendly and helpful. Also maintenance requests are fulfilled pretty quickly, which is unusual compared to other buildings I have lived in. I'd be happy to keep living here for a while!

Since we got our manager John it has been refreshing to have someone consistently around to take care of our building and actually take pride in being a manager. Quick response times, and he's on top of everything. We definitely appreciate John and his attention to detail.

The manager here responds immediately. I’ve lived in many apartments and this place really takes the cake with their service. Any issues I have had in my apartment was immediately taken care of on the day or the next. Contacting the manager is also convenient since you can text him. Rather than calling the office and waste tons of time for a call back.

My roommate and I just moved into this amazing apartment complex and with help of Brooke (The Property Manager) it was easy, safe, and affordable! Brooke is an amazing individual who will make sure everything is situated correctly and is very reliable for any questions either through the phone or in person! 100% would recommend this complex and it’s located in a safe neighborhood!

Just moved into a 2 bed/2 Bath apartment, Brooke (Leasing Agent/Property Manager) was terrific with the entire paperwork process and helping me get situated. The building is very clean and Brooke has been a pleasure to interact with.3

I can't say one bad thing about this place. I loved this apartment, and the only reason I'm moving is that I want to be closer to the airport. If I could pick this apartment up and move it with me I would. The leasing manager was amazing, I'd give him 10 stars. He always got back to me super fast with any inquiry I had, and any question he gave me an answer right away, and just super helpful and considerate! I think the leasing manager is the most important part of a building, and he really just gives the building a welcoming, warm, homey feeling. The building feels like one big home. Even when my package was delivered to someone's apartment, instead of to the mailroom, my neighbor delivered it to my door. Everyone was so nice, and you have the leasing manager to thank for that because he really made this a home. I'm so sad I had to leave but I really do recommend this place; down to how clean it is (never saw one bug), down to the amenities and location. There's a grocery store not even 2 mins away which was so convenient. But thank you Brook! You are the best!

When I first moved to LA, I was nervous about this property. But you can't beat the price, and location so I gave it a shot! Upon move in the landlord welcomed me and made me feel like I was home. I noticed a few issues but landlord fixed it immediately! When it came to the end of my lease landlord walked me through all of my options. He was so helpful and honest with me about what was the best option. The Summit on Woodman is a great starter apartment, so close to the grocery store!

I lived here for 3 years on 2nd floor, 1 br 1 br. the tenants are nice and friendly. the management is delightful and attentive. brook is the manager on the property, even brook is not on the premises or even if he is off on weekends. I can reach to him anytime and he quickly responds if i needed help, his dad is also in the premises helping out. the main staff who is also part of the maintenance his name is Leo. he is very friendly and will listen to your needs, If i needed help, he is also around to help you out. overall the manager and staff are very attentive and responds to your needs quickly, very professional approach. brook the manager is also a fair guy when it comes to management vs personal problem. he can quickly make decisions for you depending on your situation matter. brook and leo are great guys and will listen to your problem and will try to help as much as he can. the only issue that i had over the past 3 years. was there was a robbery at the parking structure. a theft smash my car window and took stuff from my car. I told the management about it, and their intervention and is implemented, was to hire a security guard who is in the premises at night. security guards are alert. they were not sleeping at night. I know because i work night shift. and i sometimes go outside to buy late night snacks. and i see them doing their rounds. there are no security guard in the morning. as for living in the apartment. the apartment is excellent. it is new, clean. i did not have any problem about robbery in my apartment even if it was so easy to get in my apartment. it is relatively safe to live, my son grew up there for 3 years. and all tenants were friendly to my son and me. overall its a nice place to live. i only moved out because they increase the rent by 300-400 dollars per month, but for the past 3 years they havent increased that much probably like 30 dollars every year. im assuming they increased rent due to increased housing market, covid, and inflation economy. thank you brook and leo for helping me whenever i needed help!. i appreciate all your help. - Brad / apartment #217

Just moved out of a three bedroom beautiful apartment. Had a Great experience there is security watching every night and the manager is in the best interest of his tenants. If I was that moving across the country to see family I would definitely stay longer!

The building manager is amazing and worked with us closely during the moving process! The building is gorgeous and all of the amenities are so nice. I also feel so safe here. Highly recommend.

I’m super happy in my first apt .. the application process was really easy and the manager was super informative and very helpful throughout my application process.. this place is really clean , very quiet , well maintained, and most of all a place to call your home.. if you have an electric vehicle this place is so convenient on charging up your vehicle.. there are parking spaces that have electric charging. It saves me time on going to an electric station. It’s at the convenience of my own place.. thank you again the summit on woodman..

I really appreciate how responsive the property manager was during the screening and move in process. He was very responsive via text message and very helpful when my furniture arrived and I was not home. The property is clean and quiet, so far it has been a good choice.

Moved in not that long ago (maybe a week) but things have been really wonderful so far. Property is kept clean, management has been extremely friendly, amenities are plentiful and useful. My ONLY complaint is that I was told the building would have fiber internet, but that is not the case. That's not really a mark against the building itself. Just be aware.

This apartment has everything. Newly renovated rooms, IN UNIT WASHER AND DRYER, central AC, new appliances, amenities, garage parking, EVERYTHING! I’m surprised it’s as inexpensive as it is! The BEST thing about this place is the management Brooke. He is the best landlord you could ask for. Very responsive, gets things done ASAP, BUT also very CHILL and a nice guy. You can’t go wrong with this place. It was the first place I ever stayed in LA and it’ll always be a home!

As you can see, all of the reviews stop at early 2021 and that’s for a good reason. New “management” stepped in at some point in mid to late 2021 and everything went downhill (which I had a feeling with happen). From the lack of communication from “management” to the wrong information being relayed, it’s been a nightmare living here since we renewed the lease late last year. It’s always something now. Think twice before moving in. I don’t even know the name of the company who owns this place now. That’s how much things are poorly relayed.

I just moved to summit on woodman apartment with my partner. I think that we found the right apartment and it’s very nice and cleaned. There was great management and great security service. I highly recommend for everyone before missing your chance to have it.

I moved all the way from Ohio and Brook was very accommodating and made the transition extremely smooth! Brook is a guy who always puts the tenants first and is constantly making improvements on the property! There is even an on campus grocery store and a garden for tenants! I would definitely recommend moving to The Summit on Woodman!

I moved here from OH to pursuer my professional and personal ambitions and the property manager made it such a smooth process. We had even come later than expected and he was very considerate and flexible, 10/10 would recommend ??

I dont know where to start! We love,love our new home. Everything is brand new,flawless, and no details left undone..Our 2 bedroom is not only gorgeous we have a washer and dryer in our unit....and not a standard small one either! When you have 2 kids,laundry is it's own full time job.But wait there's more....state of the art gym.No more gym memberships!!! A beautiful cafe to gather with friends...24hour security....It's all right here contained in our building....We are never leaving!!!! The property manager Brook, was professional,knowledgeable and incredibly patient with my laundry list of questions. He personally walked me through ever detail in our unit from light switches,to keeping our Unit at the perfect temperature.I have never experienced such personal attention to detail like this in any apartments...ever! So blessed and Happy we found our new home!!!

After an endless search for the right place, my partner and I finally found it. We absolutely love our place. So many perks a long with having, hands down, the best management you could possibly ask for.

My family and I had been looking for a place to rent for months and months. We finally came across this building, made an appointment to see it. First, I'd like to start by saying the management here is amazing, something I look for before renting a place. The most important reason to why I rented this apartment was because of the way that the management was. He was so organized, he explained everything that we need to know in the building, showed us options and answered every question that we had. He was so great and helpful.. Second reason I cannot explain how much I loved the apartment. It is so modern and new, it was exactly what we were looking for. Everything is clean, we have a gym, barbecue area and much more...last but not least this building is EXTREMELY SAFE & i love that because sometimes I come home late from work. Thank you to the management for your kindness and hard-work.

This place ia great! Brand new bulding, management is great. Neighbors are friendly. I love the gym and bbq area. The lounge is also great. Well lit parking and the apartments are slik and moderm. Highly recommed it if you are looking for a new place.

My hubby and I moved here from the very first day they opened and we love it. Nothing beats brand new everything! The lounge, the barbecue area and the gym are also great. Management is very helpful and always there when you need it! I'm so happy we can call this place home!!!

My family & I have now lived at The Summit on Woodman since August 2019. The property is extremely clean and well taken care of by the friendly management. The building has a large gym, babeque area ,beautiful ground floor gardens & tenant lounge. Please visit with your family & friends to view the property you wont be dissapointed ,Happy Holidays.

The manager is very helpful to our needs, and quick to attend to any issues that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean. The workout room is open 24/7 and the lounge room is lovely with barbeque pits up front. I love the convenience of the elevator and covered parking garage. I lived here since they opened in July and could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful new constructed building!

We had been looking for an apartment for a couple days and stumbled upon this one. With our first tour we were sold and decided on the spot that this is where we wanted to live. Number one thing is that it is a safe building, it’s clean, and it is managed well. The management team is so easy to work with, they are very kind and attentive. Also the building is brand new which is a big plus because everything is updated, the apartments have a sleek design, and they’re wheelchair accessible. Tenants have access to a gym that is fully stocked with up to date equipment, a lounge area to hang out in, picnic tables, and grilling section. Overall it has been a great experience, Thank you to the management @ The Summit!
