The amenities and vibes of the building are immaculate. I would love to see some more color and or a more welcoming look to the hallways throughout the residential parts of the building. The residents are all really friendly and the complex provides floor plans that fit all types of needs.

Great location. Staff has been nice and usually responsive. Maintenance is great and a cool guy. There is some dog poop every once in awhile, and it can get loud on July 4th and NYE from fireworks and sirens. Other than that I don’t really have any complaints.

Having lived here for a few months, I regret my decision to sign a lease here. Let me explain why: 1) Rule Enforcement. Management here enforces rules beyond what is reasonable and customary at most other complexes. This includes towing you from your own, reserved parking spot if you happen to forget your parking sticker. There is a listing of every car + license number assigned to each space, so there is a much "nicer" way of enforcing things, but a more draconian option was chosen instead. 2) Rules for thee, but not for me. You can get towed for not abiding by the rules....but not if you're part of the building management. Building management regularly parks in the "future resident" parking because they don't want to walk one block. The plebs have to follow the rules, but management does not. 3) Package Delivery. In a word, it's awful. Management installed a new system that requires the delivery drivers to take extra steps to secure packages. As you can imagine, many of the drivers have no interest in doing so, so they dump packages haphazardly. I have to chase down a missing package about 1 out of every 5 times. 4) Conveniently "forgetting" to apply rent credits. Management will often have promotions for prospective tenants for free rent. This is applied at move in as a credit towards your account. It took me two months and numerous trips down to the office to get my rent credit properly applied. 5) Parking. In a word, it 's also awful. There is extremely limited guest parking (like, single digit number of spaces), so forget having friends over. And, if you do, make sure they don't park in the "future resident" parking, or else they'll be towed. 6) Management ignores real problems. Instead of towing people for parking in their own parking spaces, management COULD be paying attention to real problems, like people not picking up after their dogs. But those things are ignored, so you will see (and have to step around) dog droppings on a regular basis. My advice is to look beyond this location and find something better. It won't be hard.

I truly enjoy living here. It’s a beautiful unit, perfect size with a patio! there are several working and clean amenities. Pool, rotunda room (this is so cool IMO), bags and mini golf, small dog park (smells sometimes, fyi!), outdoor balcony with TV, speakers, and lights, large fitness center and yoga room, package room using parcel pending, secure environment/building, speedy maintenance (literally they come within the hour, even on saturdays!), great neighborhood (5 min walk to DT chandler), and I personally have be very respectful neighbors. The only down side is no parking for guests, however there is a parking garage and a parking lot across the street from one of the 3 buildings.

Summit San Marcos is overall a great place to live. The unit is reasonably priced and is in a great location just a 5 minute walk from downtown Chandler which boasts a plethora of bars and restaurants. I’ve never had issues with my account or the office staff, and maintenance is extremely quick to resolve work orders. My main concerns are the lack of guest parking at the property. There is a dirt lot near the property that guests can park at. I would also add that grounds are not properly maintained as I often see the sent trash not getting picked up for several days. Additionally, there was an abandoned couch someone left in my building that was there for multiple months. As an additional recommendation, I would ask that the ownership purchase another bench, another treadmill, and a paid of 60 and 70 pound dumbbells for the gym.

I’ve been living here for about four months now, and overall, I’m very satisfied with the experience so far. The community is safe which was a big priority for me when choosing a place to live. The apartment itself is comfortable, well-maintained, and feels like home. I also appreciate the amenities available, especially the fitness center which is kept clean and in good condition. The neighbors I’ve met have been friendly and respectful, and it’s been easy to settle in. All in all, I feel like I made a good decision moving here and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a stable and comfortable living environment.

Great place! I just wish building B had a call box on the Dakoda street as well, it's very hard to let guests when they park on that side of the building as the main parking area has a few spots available.

Living here has been a great experience overall! The community is quiet, clean, and well-maintained, which makes it feel really safe and welcoming. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking is usually easy to find, and I love how convenient the location is for shopping and getting to work. My apartment itself is cozy and modern, with plenty of natural light. I love living at Summit at San Marcos! The building is beautiful, the office staff/maintenance crew are kind and professional and the neighbors are friendly. Apartments are super nice. Very spacious and luxurious the only issue they are made super thin. You can hear everything the people above you or next to you is doing. If someone drops a cup above you it’s super loud. Downfall is if you have company you have to walk all the way to the front to open the gate there isn’t any keypad to punch in code or any app to open the gate. Maintenance usually fix things same day or next day very quick with it

This apartment complex is secure, in a great location, with good amenities, and fairly quiet overall. No issues since moving in 8 months ago. I feel safe here and would recommend it to others. The only drawbacks are a lack of parking (1 spot per apartment, very limited guest parking), and issues with mail delivery (which the complex is working on now with a renovated mailroom in progress).

It’s been 10 days since I moved in, and so far, everything has been going great. The entire experience has been smooth and pleasant, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my choice. The staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. They’ve really made me feel at home, and it’s clear that they genuinely care about the residents. The building itself is in excellent condition, and I absolutely love the atmosphere. Whether it’s the modern amenities or the overall comfort of the space, there’s nothing I would change. I’ve had no issues settling in, and I’m already starting to feel like this is home. I really appreciate how easy and hassle-free the whole transition has been. At this point, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to move here!

This is a nice apartment in a great area. I’m very irritated that the hot tub has been broken long before I moved in (according to other residents). The pool is nice but the pool furniture is gross. The light in my stairwell has been broken for months, I guess maintenance doesn’t do regular checks. The valet trash is nice but it makes the hallways smell gross! There is no extra storage space anywhere in your apartment, and if you rent a 1 bedroom, you are not allowed to rent a garage. Stupid. The designated covered space is nice but almost necessary, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to find parking. My apartment faces Chandler, and the doors and window seals are terrible, that street is soooo loud, it’s difficult to sleep, or hear the tv. The other community amenities are nice, but I barely use them. And the package room is a terrible mess. I have to have most of my packages shipped to my work.

Feels like living in a resort hotel. Staff is very friendly and responsive. They are constantly taking care of property and doing minor upgrades. The mail room is a scavenger hunt. You have to look for package by last name. Amazon driver said it would be much easier if sorted by apt number

I love living here. The neighbors are so nice, amazing dog park. My dog loves playing there. The gym is nice and always clean. overall its great community.
Little things that need fixing around the complex as far as small maintenance projects that arent kept up with and dog poop everywhere. But overall decent.

The apartment, amenities, staff and location are top tier. Maintenance comes right away if you need it. The front desk people are so helpful and nice. The building and parking lot are super secure with gates and key entry to everything so we always feel safe. The amenities are also open 24/7 which is a huge plus for me!

We absolutely love living here! The only downside is the cleanliness of the residents here (or lack thereof). There is a serious problem with dog waste and urine all around the property. There seems to be more and more trash left around the property as well. Other than that, we absolutely love the property,our apartment, the amenities, and the staff here!

Cons: 1. The package room is a disaster. All deliveries go to the same large package room that all residents have access to so there is no security and it's easy for packages to be stolen or taken by mistake. It takes a very long time to find packages. The third-party service does not always notify me when I have received a package. 2. Cockroaches infest the trash bins during hot months and find their way into apartments, even on the 4th floor, due to loads of trash sitting outside in desert heat too long. 3. My car was towed from my parking spot (that I pay $27 a month for) and it cost me over $200 to get it back plus an entire day of work and the complex never refunded me or made any effort whatsoever to make up for the mistake despite me communicating the huge inconvenience multiple times. 4. If you want to use the printer, you have to ask the front desk to print it for you due to the cartridges being taken or something. 5. If you put your trash out for the trash valet before 6 PM, you get charged $50 and after 7 PM, you miss the service. 6. Gym sound system and rowing machine have not worked any of the times I tried to use them. 7. Concierge is not hospitable and does not treat tenants like a community. It feel like a power strike or something because they know they don't have to help you since you're bound by a lease anyways. Pros: I love the amenities & service requests are completed quickly by a very personable and trustworthy employee.

My first impression of San Marcos is very positive. The Manager was an exceptional lady and very helpful and informative. I was very impressed with the indoor mail room which was beautifully lit. The giant screen TV area is such a great place to hang out as well as the pool area and BBQ pit overlooking the golf course. I especially love the rooftop access on the 4th floor which is a great place to have BBQ and chill with friends on a nice day. I don't mind working in the residents' office are using the free WiFi.

I have had a wonderful experience living at Summit at San Marcos due to the kind, helpful and professional office staff and maintenance team. It feels safe here even when taking my dog outside during the night. My apartment layout is comfortable, kitchen appliances are modern and I personally love the balcony view!

Summit San Marcos has been my home for four years, and I would live nowhere else! Crystal and Jackie in the front office are attentive, caring and super friendly. Joe, Edith and the maintenance team help make our complex beautiful. The apartments are equipped with top notch appliances (including interior washer/dryer) & gorgeous granite countertops. The complex itself has a large, heated pool and gym that just had new equipment added to it (including the Mirror) as well as a package room that pretty much ensures you receive everything you order (no "porch pirate" issues!) I walk to downtown Chandler every weekend and we're only 3 miles from the Chandler Fashion Mall. It's really a great place to call home!

Summit at San Marcos has been my home for four years, and I'm truly happy here. I always feel safe and secure, the modern apartments are beautiful and roomy, and any concerns and issues are always addressed quickly by both the management and maintenance teams. I can walk to downtown Chandler and we're close to Chandler Fashion Square mall & food stores. Crystal and Jackie, our front office managers, are incredibly friendly, caring and professional. They've really made our little corner of the world a safe and clean environment. Joe and Edith are our maintenance heroes! I haven't had to submit many maintenance tickets, but when I have needed help, the issues are always resolved on the same day as the submitted request, or the next day. I love being here, and look forward to remaining a tenant for a good, long time :)
