Claremont is located about 13 miles southwest of Downtown Mobile. This wooded neighborhood has affordable and mid-range apartments and houses available for rent. Shops, grocery stores, and restaurants are located on both ends of the neighborhood providing residents with an abundance of amenities close to home. The north side of the neighborhood is dominated by Medal of Honor Park, a local favorite for its excellent sports facilities, dog park, and splash pad. The popular Dauphin Island is under an hour away and has an aquarium, boat ramps, a pier, bird sanctuaries, and gorgeous Golf Coast beaches. Along with proximity to the beach, Claremont is also convenient to the University of South Alabama, Spring Hill College, and the Mobile Regional Airport.

These are by far the best apartments ever. It's very nice and quiet and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Ms. Melissa is the best!!!

I absolutely love living here. Steve, the maintenance supervisor handles any requests in a timely manner. The property manager, Melissa, is always very helpful and truly cares about the property and her residents. It’s a quiet and tucked away apartment complex, I have no complaints. Plus, the layouts and sqft are way bigger than most apartments in Mobile. 10/10 recommend living here.

Summit at Hillcrest Enjoyed living at Summit at Hillcrest, located in a great location, quite area. Management is great, maintenance quick to respond when needed. Nice size rooms and closet space. And my favorite Pet friendly so I could live here with my dog.

I have lived here going on seven years. The Summit is so much more than an apartment. This is a community with all the amenities of a home! Melissa is an excellent office manager that gets the job done in a very timely manner. Steve, the maintenance supervisor, does an excellent job in taking care of all my maintenance needs. He takes care of any and all issues in a very timely manner. There are no words that can express my gratitude and appreciation for this wonderful home!

Just moved my son in. Minette made it an easy transition and went above and beyond! Everyone seems very nice and kind. Great location! ??
If you are looking for a laid back and quiet complex, this is the place for you. I enjoy that it is a smaller complex with low noise. The people that live here seem to all enjoy the quiet. I absolutely love all the trees and how the tenants have their flowers arranged. I have spoken to people who have lived here for over 20 years, which speaks volumes. Any issues I have had have been resolved in a timely manner. This is my first apartment and I was scared that I would not enjoy it, but to my surprise I love it! The current manager is great and I like the way she handles things. The floor plans are nice and the rooms are big, especially the master bedroom. I do recommend looking into moving here.
Great community with caring and loving neighbors and also have a wonderful Property Manager! Also A great place to call home From the 5 day a week valet trash can to the residents reserved parking spaces and even parking slots designated for our guests It’s literally more than just an apartment complex it’s a community
Plantations at Hillcrest is Mobiles Best Kept Secret!! They sit back off the road and surrounded in trees so you don't even know they are there which makes for a quiet private setting through out. The units are huge and being remodeled to fresh new updated designs. The grounds are lovely and with it being a smaller community everyone here watches out for each other giving it more of a neighborhood feel rather than just living in an apt where you don't know who comes and goes. As well as the staff here are kind caring people who actually speak when they see you!
The community is very quiet and always clean! I love living here and would recommend all of my family and friends to this community.
The old management was great but when they sold everything on that side went downhill fast. When you have a lease signed the management disappears. The building are old and it shows. The only plus is my neighbors were nice. It's not worth the fight overall, much better options out there.

Office often closed, horrid holes in the drive around the complex, mattresses left out for over a month, pests in the attic, constant leaks in the roof, and general decline in the property. Would not recommend to anyone, have had several different owners with no improvement. Seriously look elsewhere, not worth the rent.
