The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Summer Tree
One time pet fee is good compared to other apartments and office staff is friendly. However, apartment is old with superficial improvements and generally overpriced. Water pressure in my apartment has been low for about 6 months at least. We've complained repeatedly and we're still dealing with the same issue. Rent is too high to put up with a basic issue like water pressure being low and not fixed for half a year.
My ceiling is leaking and they came and just patched it up and not fixed it. And my apartment is not updated. The amount charged for rent here is not worth it.
Summer Tree is located on the west side of Albany in a quaint area. The units are renovated with new flooring and kitchen appliances. The staff is courteous and professional. Work orders are addressed within 24 hours of being filed.
The new management over this complex has completely turned things around. They are considerate and very easy going. They also get things fixed quickly.
I’ve lived here for almost a year now and the apartments are good! I have very little complaints. The inside could be updated but because they are updating the outside I’m going to assume they’ll do the inside soon! Very spacious (2bd 2ba) great for price. Management has been replaced once but staff has always been nice (both previous and current). Pest control comes around often to spray which is a plus! Also within my year I’ve seen no more than 5 roaches! Definitely would recommend this complex!
My family and I have been out here for a little over a year and I must say we love it!!! The 3 bedroom is very spacious and I love the fact that we have a pool area!!! The property manager is AMAZING! Mrs.Sheila has worked with me on so many levels and gave us a chance when nobody else would! She always goes out of her way to speak and make sure she takes care of things quickly!!!
Good apartments themselves but beware, the property manager is awful. Whenever disputes arise she just finds the easiest way to handle it even if it means some tenants come out on the short end. Parking is also terrible, not near enough spots close to the buildings.
Overall my stay at the property was so so . I had several issues with the hot water heater as well as the air conditioning unit continuously . Decent neighborhood but getting worse by the day. In review I would not recommend. Also new management is not very friendly.
Greenbriar is a great apartment complex to live at. The manager is always on top of everything. Anytime I've ever had a problem with my apartment I speak with her and she gets it taken care of. I have never been as pleased with a place of residence as I have here.

Thank you very much for the great review! I am glad you are happy here!
I enjoy living here and any time I have needed something it is taken care of right away! It is good and clean and people get to enjoy the grounds with their pets. I always see the staff around the complex checking on things and keeping the noise and loudness under control. The manager is always reasonable if I ever have a need for consideration. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an apartment.
Please do not consider moving into these apartments. Let’s start off with the outside of the apartments. The landscaping is never kept up. The pool is disgusting it looks old and ran down, I? will not be taking my kids there. The laundry is always dirty and their machines are trash. I? have seen mold and roaches in my apartment. The manager is a very unpleasant individual. I? often speak to my neighbors and they feel the same way.

I am so sorry that you are unhappy with Greenbriar. The exterior of the apartments looks the same as it has for years so it looked that way when you chose to move here. It is your choice whether to use the pool, it stays pretty full when open so lots do choose to use it and others do not. I have had no mold calls from any apartments so I can't fix what is not reported. When a roach is reported I call pest control immediately and they spray within 24 hours of a call back. People that can't pay their rent on time or do not like to follow the rules they agreed to when they moved in so sometimes consider me unpleasant. I guarantee that those that follow the rules and don't have paying on time issues don't have any issues with me. My the date on this review I am pretty sure I know who you are, have a very nice day!
I have been a resident at Greenbriar for 5 years and have lived in 2 different units. I have been here through 3 or 4 managers and I really like the one now. The grounds are looking better than they have in a while. If I call she gets my problem taken care of. She told me about the bad review so I came here to read it and write my own. You are always going to hear some noise with apartment living but I have never had a really bad issue with neighbors. I have also never had roaches in either unit I have lived in. I am enjoying my stay and would recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment. I love the fact that it is pet friendly and that the tennis court is now open for dogs to play and run in.
We moved in here 3 months ago and we can hear everything from the noisey neighbors. We hear them snoring at night, we hear their entire conversations because the walls/ceilings are so thin. Their TV keeps us up all night. There are roaches all through the complex to include red ants everywhere. The exterminator came and when we got home we had discovered the exterminator had gone through our dresser drawers and had moved our furniture. The 1 person who works in the office is never there and leaves early so we can never get a hold of anyone. The appliances are very old and have broken down on us already. I would not recommend this place.

None these issues have been reported to property manager. I would report it to the police if I thought someone went through my dresser drawers and moved my furniture. I have never missed a day of work that someone was not in office and if I leave early it is once a week to take the package to the post office. Since it is a one person office there are times errands have to be run and courthouse trips must be made often. It is odd this review came on the day we had evictions on the property. Take it with a grain of salt. Almost all appliances have been replaced in the past year.
I moved into this complex about 2 years ago. Very clean and grounds are kept neat with onsite security. Very quiet with friendly people.
