We have lived here for several years and while there has been some new faces, the new team is truly incredible! Thank you gentlemen!

Very unorganized. If you have questions, do not expect the office to provide you with any useful information. I went out of my way to get my carpets cleaned in order to have my security deposit returned. I told the office manager that the bathtubs were old and peeling. She assured me that they would not hold this against me. After moving out of my apartment they changed me the whole security deposit in bath tub cleaning fees. This misinformation is a common theme from this apartment complex. I'm very disappointed in this complex and I would not recommend.

All they want to do is take your money for every little thing they can possibly find to charge you for. Management is extremely unprofessional and they will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your signature and your money. The office never answers the phone and half the time the office is open- no one is there. OH- and there's ROACHES.

I have lived here for 2 months and have had an exterminator come twice, and they’ve done nothing but put a bandaid on the situation instead of fixing it. They’re under my fridge and living in our counter. I’ve put my own money into buying traps that are actually effective and have spent my time researching on how to get rid of them, because I’m tired of living in fear. I just got home from working a double shift and all I want to do is get ready for bed, then I find a roach on my toilet. The complex is beautiful on the outside, but make sure you know what you’re getting into when you move in.

Summer Cove is an excellent place to call home. The apartments are beautiful snd spacious, the landscaping is lush and tropical! I love that we have two pools, and there is a nice grill area by them. There is also a nice exercise room which includes a barre that I can practice ballet. Highly recommend!!!

If it was based ONLY on maintenance I would definitely recommend

The complex has an impressive outside because of the fantastic care that's taken with the grounds, and the apartment interiors are lovely and well taken care of on a continuous basis. Friends are very complentary about the apartment and the exterior

Assigned parking spaces were ridiculous and caused more problems than it solved.

It is peaceful and I don't see to hear a ton of noise. It is maintained well and the landscape seems to be well kept.

The only complaint I have is people smoking on their Lanais. Some one in my floor smokes on stairs wish the smoking rule was enforced.

Great location from everything and love that its so pet friendly, but the parking is always a problem. Any problem I've had inside has always been addressed immediately. Everyone is always very friendly. I do wish they offered tile in the upstairs apartments and not carpet. I don't like the light carpet color they choose.

Good people in the community, great staff and the heated pool is definitely a major plus. It probably would be a 10 if we had some mixers. At other complexes I've lived in management would throw pool parties for Christmas or Cinco de Mayo. It was a great way to meet and become friends with people in the community.

The location, staff and general ambience is very good. The curb appeal, cleanliness and overall "presence" friendliness/quietness etc. is also very good. The drawback is the dated/worn out look on the interior. At this price point there are many options available and if not for the pet friendliness of the community I probably would have gone another direction.

I have been here since July 2017 and cannot say enough good things about this beautiful complex! the grounds and landscaping are fantastic and gives you that "homey, cozy" feeling from your first drive through. the grounds are always in shape and the landscaping is beautiful. the valet trash pick up is a great feature and you hardly ever see trash lying around. doggy park is fun for my fur baby and the pools are always clean. I have the larger 1 bedroom and it's perfect! the wall color is just my style, not a boring white. I renewed my lease until April and hoping to be able to do that again!

Truly disappointed with this place. We moved in on the first of May 2018 and ever since, have had to live with cockroaches. It's absolutely disgusting having to live with these creatures. They're everywhere and nobody at this place is willing to take care of the issue. We've seen them in the morning right next to our bed, almost stepping on them, crawling around in our living room, in our kitchen all over the oven and counter tops, and everywhere you can imagine in our bathrooms. The photos attached are from this past weekend and as you can see, there is a roach clearly coming out of our vent in the bathroom. We've been in contact with staff at least 10 times by now. One time I asked where do they keep coming from and I was told that they DO NOT come out of the vents. Given these photos that was obviously a lie. Our apartment is kept clean at all times and the exterminator has came by and sprayed on multiple occasions but the cockroaches continue to return. Every time I take a step anywhere I have to make sure I don't step on a cockroach. Before I get out of bed, I look down at the ground to make sure there isn't one there. Before I enter the bathroom, I turn on the lights and look around before entering. Every time I enter the kitchen , I check the counter tops and the floor. Imagine having to live like that. On top of having to live in such fear, the staff still has yet to find a resolution and is expecting us to just continue living here with these cockroaches. It's absolutely ridiculous. I DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone to come live here. Most of the staff have been polite but given the fact that nothing is being done, we know just how little Summer Cove cares for keeping their tenants satisfied. In almost 4 months, we have seen well over 30 cockroaches by now, so unless you don't mind the extra tenants (cockroaches), then I would look somewhere else to live! I could honestly go on and continue explaining why I'm so frustrated with this place but at this point you get the idea. Everyone is free to make their own judgement call based on my review but I would NEVER recommend anyone to join this community.

I have lived here for 2 years and am so impressed, I renewed for another 14 months. The Manager is very attentive to residents and always accessible and more than willing to make reasonable acomodations. The main reason I am taking the time to write this review is on behalf of the maintenance personnel, Josh and Ervino. They are extremely competent and and courteous at all times and resolve problems usually within the same day. They do a wonderful job of cleaning up after the work is accomplished. Better than any other workman I have ever seen. They have my complete confidence and trust in leaving them alone in my apartment. I want to take the opportunity to thank them and let the Corporation know what outstanding employees they are so lucky to have. My sincere thanks to both of you and Reno, the Property Manager. I really like this apartment. I am in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. The bedrooms are a good size, with large closets! the bathrooms a an excellent size also. I love that the complex is quiet! I live near the little dog park and there isn't even a ton of noise coming from there. Even with the recent work being done to the parking lot I haven't have an issue parking. They also just painted the breezeways and they look 100% better. the girls in the rental office are super helpful and nice. Maintenance is always prompt and they check back after they have come in to fix something to make sure it is working correctly. Overall it is a great apartment and centrally located.

My boyfriend and I have currently been living at Summer Cove since Oct 2014. We love just about everything about our home here. Our apartment was renovated before we moved in so it was like moving into a brand new apartment. Any time we have had to talk to the management office or service staff they have been polite and take care of any issues quickly. The one hang up we currently have is that they have been doing updates around the development constantly for the past couple of months, this is sometimes noisy and in the way. The community is constantly looking better however so it's worth the hassle. If we were not planning on moving to Orlando in January when our lease runs out, we would definitely renew it to stay here.
