Located about 15 miles southeast of Downtown St. Louis, Belleville is convenient to Scott Air Force Base, the Mississippi River, the St. Louis Downtown Airport, the Gateway Arch, Anheuser-Busch, and the Saint Louis Zoo. Office staff is friendly, but they do not follow through on issues or concerns raised. It’s always “I’ll send this to so and so and call you back.”.
Relocating to a new country can be quite stressful but thanks to Storyboard Living my move was quite successful. From the initial tour to the approval process, the service provided was seamless. The staff was helpful with finding me an apartment unit close to the MetroLink and any questions I had about the lease. They are always quick to answer any maintenance requests and all requests they have completed have been fast and well done. I recommend them to everyone in a heartbeat!
I’m convinced this “management company” is just two trust fund kids with no idea what they are doing. I applied with my husband on 9/06/2022 for a unit they said would be available on the 15th. My apartment had been flooding due to old pipes breaking and i had to move ASAP. I was never contacted after applying and called twice a week every week to ask what was going on. Each time I was told that management would call me “today for sure” and even “you’ll get a call in a few minutes”. As the weeks went on I was told by the front desk the move in date would be the 23rd which was no problem for me but I still had not been contacted regarding my application and it had been over 2 weeks. I even emailed but got no reply. In my email I pleaded with them to at least tell me what was going on so that I could book an Airbnb in the mean time if I needed. This went on up until the 20th, I begged to put a deposit down and only asked for transparency because I had to move out in 3 days(my credit and income are both great) so in my mind I just trusted them they’d get around to my lease. In the 4 weeks since my application I never once received a call or email, not ONE call or email. They just have no regard for people. All I asked for was transparency but every time I called I was given empty promises. I am so lucky they didn’t call me because I’m now at Parkway Lakeside (much much nicer) and you know what the leasing agent told me when I told her about the nightmare that is “Tutandtut”…..she said “which company was it?” I said “tutandtut” and she said “oh yeah they did that to me too, never called back until 5 weeks later. They’re known for being the worst rental company in our area”. I am so lucky I found something in time but wow did you all have zero human decency. To string people along when they are begging for transparency is unacceptable. It’s now the 25th, two days after our “move in date” and still not ONE CALL OR EMAIL. Do not rent for them!
